- Finally I get to announce our new company direction and our decision to let go one of the most Iconic Hotel brands in Manila. I bid farewell to Victoria Court to usher in a new brand called Hotel AVA. This decision didn't come lightly but because I wanted to take the company to a new direction I believe we had to make the change. I hope you can support our new direction with the company and how we believe businesses should operate moving forward.

I used to stay in Victoria court to get a little sleep in between duties back when I was a medical intern at Ospital ng Maynila. It sheltered me during a bad storm and when the streets were too flooded to drive back home. I’m so impressed with your rebranding it to Ava and how you are taking care of your employees! I definitely plan to stay there the next time I go home for a little nostalgic trip. Are you keeping anything from the old brand? Perhaps a little museum, after all it does deserve a place in Manila history. Congratulations 🎉Angie!

i really miss this company. The boss on how she gives back to her employees, the employees on how they respect each other, the place where it felt like a second home for me, the culture and ambience where it felt I am at the right place. Knowing this home is still here to stay and is keeping it going for the people makes my heart happy! With their goals and vision, I see great things happening and growing in the hospitality scene. I'm proud to be once part of the family which molded me to who I am at work today, and how I am as a person in the real world. Thank you VC, hello AVA! Grabe po benefits ng employees ninyo. Ang swerte nila. This is rare sa mga Filipino companies. To think na hindi kayo kasing laki ng bigating corporations ha, pero nagawa ninyong magbigay ng maternity at paternity leave benefits. Pwede naman pala! I hope more companies would follow suit. I am planning to do a staycation in December, sakto na nakita ko itong video. May destination na ako. :-)

Congrats! honestly I was Sad when you announced that you will be closing your half of the franchise, sad for the business and its employees, but congrats to your evolution of the business and making it as sustainable as possible. I hope more business would adapt their system with atleast rain water collection and solar energy, not only for the savings but to give back to the environment. Also Love that there are alot of plants to help produce oxygen in the polluted air of the metro. Congrats to Hotel AVA!

Hello..Ive been an employee of AGC headed by boss Wyden King. Iba talaga ang leadership style ng mga Kings like u Angie. I remember Wyden wanted to be called by his name, very humble too. So love the innovations you've made with Hotel Ava...truly a big change from Victoria Court operations. Kudos to your re-branding! So admire your care for your employees. Would love my son to apply in your company. He has a hotel mgmt. degree from a refutable school but finished a few months before pandemic lockdown started and didn't get a chance to land a hotel job to apply his knowledge and skills. He's employed in a different job now. More success to Hotel Ava!
Wow, not only are you taking care good care of your employees but to the environment as well. Can't wait to see the new Hotel AVA. For the daycare, you can place a mural painting on the walls to make it lively and colorful which I think was also a theme/design

Rebranding is a very smart business move! New look is more like a boutique hotel more classy. Revisions on policies and procedures is vital to the longevity of employees and better productivity.

I didnt know this person but way back then i heard his story, a race car driver with a model wife became a transwoman... Back then i was shock, and honestly at some point judge this person, why become like that blah blah blah, and then i was browsing in youtube and see his or her again and i start to watch her and her background and her family. I found out that she is super yaman pla and het fathers legacy is super galing and how their family handle their business is super makatao, and how they help a lot of people in their own little and humble way nagulat ako. Sobrang daming ganap or happening pla sa buhay ni king i was so amaze. Truly you can never judge a book by its cover, sometimes in our life hindi ka tlga pwedeng mag jugde ng tao kung pano mo sya nakikita in just a short period of time na nakilala mo sya eh, we need to know a person better, look at his history in life, research, bago natin sya husgahan or what i mean is bago natin sya tignan mula ulo hangang paa. Tignan muna natin ang mga gawi or buti sa puso nya. At some point i see similarity sa peraonality namen the diff is im a trans person, a super bad boy as in and now trying to redeem myself at nagpapakabuti sa aking mga gawi or asal/ugali, but at some point people judge me and not believing in me because of my bad past history ang masakit pa d2 is most of them ay family ko na not seeing the good inside me but as i watch this story of angie king napaisip ako, i think im just going to continue my life ng "pagbabago" kahit hindi naniniwala ung ibang member ng family ko na i can be a good person... I know myself more than they do and i know deep inside of me that im a change man. I want to have a legacy and being a good person in my own simple way is i think enough before i leave this world i want my son and my daugther to be a good person sa buhay nila.
