    This is a solid update. Feel like it’s becoming a new version of shake. Love the new additions especially expressions. I hope you all add some kind of multi plane tool and a pixel analyzer in the future. Local stability for sure! Thanks for the hard work on it.

    Im currently going through all the course modules for Silhouette. Ben's way of teaching is very relaxing and simple.

    Not surprised that BorisFX's inclusion of ai tools within it's own interface just feels so mature and seamless, as opposed to the janky ones we're getting for like Photoshop or Blender. Even Adobe's own firefly seem super clunky, regardless of their UI organization. So along comes Silhouette with interface and user experience that's actually thought out and tactically useful, right out the box! 👏

      Thanks for the great comment. This is a good start for Silhouette, and it is only the start!

      @@BorisFXco Would it be realistic to anticipate a method to hook locally run models into Silhouette sometime in the future, or is Stability all that will be available?

    Awesome updates guys. A can’t wait to try them out! I do have a couple of questions though:
    1. Is Primatte available on the OFX version?
    2. Do you have to be connected to the internet to use the Stability tool?
    This is an issue for those of us who work at facilities that don’t allow our boxes to be connected to the outside world.

    • @PaulMillerFx
      @PaulMillerFx ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes Primatte comes with the plugin.
      You do need to be connected to the Internet to use Stability - and it requires a DreamStudio API key. However, we're working on support for local servers.

    • @BorisFXco
      @BorisFXco  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We think it's a fantastic upgrade too! It's great to have Primatte as a keyer option coupled with Color Estimation from Silhouette 2022.5.
      There are only a couple of things that aren't in the OFX version that are in Standalone. Specifically Sapphire and Particle Illusion.
      We have a Compare section here too : borisfx.com/products/silhouette/?collection=silhouette&product=silhouette&host=standalone-adobeofx-plugin&purchase-options=annual-subscription#compare

      Yes, that's correct. Particle Illusion is not included in the Linux installer though. It is Mac and Windows only.

    Is it possible to use a local instance of Stable Diffusion?

    • @BorisFXco
      @BorisFXco  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, not currently. We use the Stability API that does all the processing on the cloud. It is a good feature request though.

    • @TransformXRED

      @@BorisFXco Yeah, this would be a great feature. Automatic1111 has its own API and can be launched "headless" too.
      The big plus would be being able to use custom models trained on specific things. And SDXL models trained by the community are far better than the original ones and can go to pretty high resolutions before breaking down.
      The 1.5 version is super easy to train too, so VFX artists could have trained models on very specific elements and gotten superior results.
      An example of a program using the Automatic1111 API is ChaiNNer.
      With the actual Adobe debacle, this would be a great move for Boris FX 😁

    Question, I've been using Silhouette for some time now, and sometimes when I open the program the UI is in fullscreen mode similar to Nuke where the program goes bordless. Is there a way to do this in Silhouette within windows? I work in a darker room and the window is distract since it's the brightest thing on the screen.

    • @BorisFXco
      @BorisFXco  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I know of, apart from using Windows' own customization. I'll bring it up to the dev team.

    • @BorisFXco
      @BorisFXco  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Creating an AI-generated B-spline that looks like a human artist created it, and is editable like a human artist wants it, is a rather tougher proposition that simply creating a magic segmented alpha key. So to answer your question let's say "The Future"

      We hear you. Compared to $3,299/year for Nuke, it's relatively affordable. But, it's still not at a price point that everyone can afford. What features in Silhouette would you like to be using?
