You need a power cable to each camera, the network is wireless. You don’t need to plug the NVR box to the router unless you want to see the cameras on your phone then you do
Thanks very much for explaining that. Also I am having trouble setting up the email alert function. I keep getting the error message 'username, password or encryption type is incorrect'. Are you familiar with this? Thanks in advance
Hi great video good system just a pity you can't buy spare or replacement cameras from anywhere. If you get a camera damaged you have to buy a whole new system.
Thanks for your message. Yes if you have 4 cameras and one brakes you can carry on recording and viewing 3 cameras but unable to add an extra camera to the system
So I don't have to have internet to see what's going on outside or inside? If i have a hook up from some other cameras that's a 4 channel can I just use this dvr box
Mama Moore You don’t have to, The Cameras connect to the DVR Box wirelessly (once you have them connected to power) so connect the DVR box to a TV and put the cameras where ever you want around the house and you will see them on the screen. If you want the cameras to come up on your Mobile phone then you do need to connect the DVR box to the Router (WIFI Box) witch Will use your internet to do so and use the APP IP pro.

Sukh Randhawa hi, with the Wireless Camera you can also connect them by Ethernet cables then that may pick up all 4 cameras. Are these cameras the same make? So 2 are wireless and 2 aren’t wireless cameras looking to connect to the same box?
Pwinkle hi, I have a feeling it was the upgrade. My floureon system was stuck on a page, the support team asked me to upgrade the software through software they gave me, after this the system started by all WiFi options were removed, I can’t add the wireless cameras in anyway now because there is no option. I have the exact same kit as you.

HDMI cable or VGA cable you can use to connect the NVR box to a TV or Monitor that you have at home. The recording will save onto the hard drive disc inside the NVR box (if you picked the camera set that had the HDD in it) which you can find on your screen by using the mouse that come with it. Or you can record on the app on your phone by clicking on the camera and pressing the record symbol.
You don’t be the cables if you would like to just watch from your phone but you have the option to watch on a tv or monitor as well. You can also record on your phone, I’ll talk you though it if you need help once the cameras arrive.
You still need a power cable to each camera. It’s called wireless because the network (signal) is wireless, means you don’t have to extra cables leading back to a NVR box for the cameras to have signal.
So if you connect the POE cables for the cameras to the router you don't need the camera power cord right ?Why not reroute your links to a separate page so it doesn't disturb what i am presently watching, so no ip config setup ? nice video
the reason for using WIFI cameras is so you don't have to have POE cables installed from each camera leading to box (only one power cable needed for an easier install). its up to the individual but i find the wifi cameras the easiest install.

Power and RJ45 cable, the RJ45 cable is used If your WiFi router doesn’t reach the distance that you put the cameras.
