What you also have to concider is that the Guitar Hero 2 engine is much worse and has a smaller window of hitting the notes than Guitar Hero 3s engine.
This is actually harder on guitar hero than for Buckethead, since a lot of these fancy things Buckethead does using a killswitch on his guitar instead of strumming. However, that doesn't make this incredibly artistic solo any less impressive.
