Hello everyone! Just a few hours ago, we received some exciting information about the upcoming version 5.2 banners from DK2, a reliable source. In today’s video, we'll be taking a look at the new characters set to release in version 5.2, along with some insights into Chasca's kit and playstyle, as well as a few banner predictions.
According to the info we received from DK2, Chasca and Ororon will be released in version 5.2 as playable characters. As you may already know, Chasca is from the Flower-Feather Clan and will be a 5-star Anemo bow user-only the second Anemo bow user after Venti.
As for her playstyle, she's expected to be a main DPS with a unique flying ability. According to what we know, when Chasca flies, a pair of bird-like wings will appear on her back, similar to when we glide. It's still unclear if these wings are actual accessories or part of her, though it’s more likely that they only appear during her skill or burst activation. We didn’t see any wings in the 5.1 trailer, so this transformation might be tied to her abilities.
Chasca’s normal attacks will trigger coordinated attacks based on her skills, and she can infuse her element with Hydro, Electro, Pyro, or Cryo-but not Geo or Dendro. One more thing-she doesn’t need Faruzan in her team, which is great news for those who don’t have C6 Faruzan. Interestingly, the duration of Chasca's flight surpasses Wanderer’s skill duration, suggesting she could be an on-field DPS similar to him. This mechanic is also somewhat reminiscent of Natlan’s exploration abilities, like Mualani’s surfboard or Xilonen’s skates.
Now, moving on to the banners. Based on the latest info, we’ll see two new characters in version 5.2: Chasca and Ororon. As I mentioned, Chasca will be a 5-star Anemo bow user, so it’s safe to assume she’ll have her own banner in Phase One of 5.2. Meanwhile, Ororon will be a 4-star Electro bow user. There were earlier rumors of him being a 5-star character, but those seem to be false. According to DK2 and other sources, Ororon will indeed be a 4-star.
We’re finally getting another tall male character after Wriothesley and Neuvillette, who were introduced in version 4.1, and I’m really excited for him-though I did wish he was a Hydro character. The game seriously lacks 4-star Hydro characters, and there’s no word yet on when we’ll get one.
As for rerun banners, before I go any further, I want to clarify that this is just my speculation, so I could be wrong. Based on my predictions, the characters most likely to get reruns in version 5.2 are Wanderer, Arlecchino, and Venti.
I know some of you might be thinking about Wriothesley, Shenhe, Childe, Xiao, or others, but remember, there’s a Liyue Chronicled Wish banner coming in version 5.3, along with the Lantern Rite Festival. Characters from Liyue who’ve been featured in at least three banners and haven’t appeared in a while-like Ganyu, Childe, Xiao, and Baizhu-will likely be on that banner, along with some standard characters and weapons.
Back to the 5.2 reruns-Hoyoverse is rerunning every character from Fontaine except Wriothesley, so my guess is Arlecchino will be next after Chiori. Wriothesley may return in 5.3 or later, especially with Mavuika supposedly buffing Cryo and Hydro characters.
Wanderer is almost confirmed to get a rerun because of the main event in 5.2, which is tied to Dragonspine and Durin, as well as Wanderer himself. Also, sources have confirmed his rerun for 5.2, so that’s something to look forward to! Venti could also get a rerun as part of the Archon banner marathon. They used to rerun Zhongli early in patches, but I think they might delay him this time and rerun Venti instead.

@@amdfenom2875 Get Raiden no question. You need a carry not a support at this early in the game and xilonen will have her rerun soon because she is new anyway.
Raiden can be used as subDPS and support later ,she is very flexible. Xilonen seem great but thats for old players who wanna build team comp for endgame contents
@@amdfenom2875 yes for sure you might loose 5050 but you are not really loosing too much since you will be garenteed on your next 5 star and you still have too many areas to explore so you will definitely get her

Ororon and Citlali are from the same tribe. Since the third chapter of each tribe's tribal chronicles functions as the story quest for said tribe's 5-star character, releasing 2 in a go would complicate stuff.

Lol her flight duration will be longer than wanderer "inside of natlan" sure but the real downside comes when she's outside of the region because natlan units night soul state duration is very bad. Warderer still gonna carry u through teyvat in the long term. Hoyo really did mess up limiting these natlan units night soul duration like that outside natlan.

Also if she was really powercreep him on exploration they would have made his banner earlier also i think chasca will have a diffrent flying mechanic like fischl's burst if she was really gonna repkace him he would have re ran sooner

@@Haoher09 that was maybe because Venti´s rerun was in 4.1 so not so long before Monstadt chronicled wish banner but with Zhongli´s rerun now it will be way longer since his last rerun so maybe he will be in Liyue chronicled wish banner, if not then probably in 5.4, either way you have quite a lot of time to save for him and Mavuika , but good luck to you

I'm kinda in your boat right now too.. they will be giving out 1600 primogems over the next couple of days and Pity carries over to new banners, so if you failed raiden but you still have a lot of Pity, you probably have a shot at winning the 50/50
