Lyndon Smiths new Volvo L110H with OCE pike pushing up silage with joystick steering while a New Holland Tm165 helps to roll the pit COMMENT, LIKE, SUBSCRIBE.
I'm surprised at how fast grass contractors want to be in and out of farmers yards these days that more of them aren't using a 20 tonner like this.. Could just push up a whole trailer in 2 goes and the 20 tonnes would make short work of compressing the grass..
Once you get used to joystick steering ( 5 minutes in a Volvo) you will never be using the steering wheel again. Maybe only on the open road because joystick steering limits you re topspeed to 30 km/h
Would like to see in cab working of the joystick.....😀 good vid👍🏻
Thanks Jason! I'd like to see it in action myself!

Il est bien ce Volvo combien de chevaux ?
Wow very good would that be the equivalent to a 435s 👍
No that would be away bigger 435 is only around 14 tonne that would be over 20 tonne weight
@@damiencrowley8292 20 tonne!!! holy fuck
Normally sene in a quarry, not sure if it's overkill on this job
New Holland in way on pit
Why would one prefer joy-stick steering? Good video, anyway.
balmesh Its main advantage is for industrial use, you can keep both hands on the armrest for ease of use, thanks Alan
Last time I used a joy sticks was in a Marshall 90 and there were no arm-rests!
Mainly a quarry thing, all the largest loading shovels are almost exclusively joystick controlled.
