    Really enjoyed this vid. I’m a wanna be market gardener so it’s nice to see the full experience, not just snippets!

    Love it ALL! Wow your hard work shows in fantastic results. Everything is so tidy and neat and organized. Wouldn't even think you had such horrible weather recently. You inspire..... thanks and know that you are helping us focus here in SC USA!

    Next thing I'll comment on: I liked that slight grin your mom gave the camera as she passed by.

    I love seeing your farm! You guys have really expanded and your market booth really shows it! That roadside stand is exactly what I am hoping to do at the end of my driveway this year.
    All the best Georgia xo

    Loved this video, great to see just how much work goes into your produce. Would like to see a bit more about the flowers you grow too if that’s possible xxx

    It's been a few months since I've come across your channel, and I finally had to subscribe! Even small details like showing the logistics of setting up at a market are helpful! (No...someone doesn't need to rent a semi-truck!) But, I definitely like your growing content, as well. Thank you!

    I just noticed you use your zero turn as a form of produce transport. Genius. :D

    Hi Georgia, I like that format too.
    Maybe an idea for a future video, with more business insights like how big is the plot, when did you start the farm, do you work their full time/part time, what's your vision for the farm etc.? so many questions ;)

    I love your little farm....If you paint the ceiling sky blue in the area you don't want birds, bees and wasps it makes them think it's the sky. they won't build their nests in the rafters thinking no protection ....

    You guys should get a bubbler bin to wash your greens.
    Could you pay someone a fair wage, $30/hr to hand pick that lettuce like that and still be profitable???

    Where did you get your large seed trays at the end of the video that you sow your lettuce into ? Loving seeing a kiwi grower & recognizing the seed varieties !

    I grew some Malibar Spinach last year. Seeds I got from King Seeds, I wanted to try it mainly because it grows upwards like runner beans. A much stronger taste than I am used to , but it was ok. Do you grow it.?? In the States I found it to be one of many Asian favorites.

    Great video such a tidy and organised garden… one question is what size and from where do you get your garden hoops, thanks…

    • @georgiadegroen
      @georgiadegroen  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They are the red path cloche system and the size we use is 800mm wide x 600mm tall (uses a 1.9m wide covering). Recently I have started using a different method where I just lay the insect net directly on the bed/crop. It’s a lot more effective at keeping out predators as we can have quite high winds here. Works with the insect net as it’s so light it doesn’t affect the seed from germinating and growing. Have actually had much better results so far
