This is oils right? How do you retouch an oil painting? I have an old painting of a little over 2 years old and I wanted to tweak it a bit to give it some life. Also ilI have another oil painting sitting in there and forgot for like 6 months now, wondwring how could i paint that one again. Both i only used the solvent as medium (the odorless thinner toxic thingy), no varnish on either.
Hi, because you didn’t varnish it, it’s very easy to go back to it ( at least on a technical level). Just take a warm damp cloth ( lint free) clean it, dry it and start painting again ( you can put a very thin layer of your oil medium just so paint flows better).

What mediums do you use for initial glaze at beginning of video?
Hi Christina I used Old Masters Flemish Maroger, but it could be substituted by Liquin Gel or Oleo Gel by Rublev.
