I stumbled upon a reference to non alcoholic spirits recently. Didn't even know they were a thing. Found your channel and I am intrigued. I'm not a, drinker (quit many many years ago) but being able to have a cocktail with no after effects interests me. Definitely going to look more into it and check out more of your videos. 😉
This was really helpful. You describe things so well that even if it wasn't your favorite drink in the group, I was still able to figure out which one I would prefer. Very informative!
Fantastic overview. I went back and watched the first one after this one. You definitely hit on some that I've looked at, but not tried yet. Dhos was my introduction to this category. Seedlip was an early entry for me as well. I've found Pathfinder over a year and a half ago and was won over. Wilderton makes a couple of good products. I actually like Lyre's American Malt and their Rosso. The Malt has gotten bad reviews from some folks, but they are tasting it straight, which I also was not impressed by. However, mixed with tonic the Malt became a serious whiskey (not bourbon) alternative that was enjoyable. Thank you again. You've inspired me to continue the journey.
Just stumbled across your channel, and I love the content! I recently got into NA cocktail making and this was very helpful. I appreciate your dedication to the creativity of bartending and also just good videography on all your videos 👏😄
I love your videos! You've covered the ones I've gotten over the last month or so! Can't try some more of these cocktails that you've made as well. I'm most curious about the Dark and Stormy!
I like the sound of both the Dhos Gin and their triple sec. I hadn't heard of that brand until watching this. I just got the Ritual Tequila. I haven't opened it yet, so I'm glad to hear you liked that one. Of course I'm going to try a zero proof margarita with it. I wish I had some of the N/A triple sec for that. I guess I'll just use orange juice in place of the cointreau for now. Great, extensive review of some ice non alcoholic options!
Hey! I hope you get a chance to try them. Obviously they will never stack up to their alcoholic counterparts, but in a cocktail they work really nice. I hope you like the ritual tequila! It’s got a bite to it which I like. I think a splash of oj and some agave will do just fine in the margarita. Sometimes I’ll use Cointreau anyways for a low abv version
This is awesome! You should compare your previous favorites to these favorites. I'm curious how your Ritual favorites, Kentucky 74, etc. would place in these rankings.
Love the reviews! How do the red aperitifs compare to your non-alcoholic Campari alternative? Also, if you're looking for NA Vodkas, you'll need to try Stryyk Not Vodka and Glory Mornin' Super Vivid. Those are the only 2 options on the market that I know of.
Thanks for the suggestions! I’m curious how the vodkas would be- since vodka is already so neutral. I think my non alcoholic Campari sits right in the middle of the Vera & Wilfred’s.
Our favorite family cocktail is a sidecar (w/o a sugar rim!) on the sour side. We're usually making them in quantity and so start with equal parts brandy, triple sec, and lemon juice. I've had awful ones in bars that are just brandy, cointreau, and a twist -- way too much alcohol, not enough lemon. How would you approach making a NA sidecar like that?
Maybe as these NA options are consumed we could see a resurgence of cordials and shrubs? These options I am assuming have the alcohol distilled out? Which is quite different from making a cordial.
Pink House Alchemy has a pineapple shrub I’m liking currently. Juke 6 from Boisson is marketed as a red-wine alternative but it tastes like a grape-berry shrub to me and it’s very good with sparkling water and a couple drops of Stevia.
That’s what I was wondering as well I wish she would mention that in the reviews that if the company specified if they just are a flavor alternative or if they are a buzz and flavor alternative to real alcohol
Please post more non alcoholic cocktails recipes! This was great!
Thank you so much! I'll be posting more soon but if you haven't already check out my zero proof playlist!

That is a great idea. I think I’ll add it to the blogpost on my site

Optimist Bright is also a floral citrus vodka/gin alternative. Boisson carries it.

I do hope so. I’m seeing a lot more interesting mixers coming on the market now

Where do you typically buy these? Stores or online?
Hi! I buy them in a non alcoholic bottle shop called Boisson. They also deliver
Does the DHOS gin really taste like gin? I just bought it and think it’s terrible. Tastes like pepper water. I can’t even make it work in cocktails.
Do any of these give you a “buzz” or “lift” like “Stop your wine-ing” or other non-alcoholics of that variety claim to do? 😃
That’s what I was wondering as well I wish she would mention that in the reviews that if the company specified if they just are a flavor alternative or if they are a buzz and flavor alternative to real alcohol
I've tried a good handful of these and none of them give the buzz, they are just about flavor/mouthfeel etc purely a taste and drinking experience.
Have you tried De Soi by Katy Perry ?
Hello! Not yet. I love how the bottles look. Definitely going to give them a try.
@@TheWeePearl awesome! Thank you for your content ⭐️
What's a good Tequila without alcohol
