Thank you,dear Lee!✨️💚 This is actually a song I wished you to check out for a very long time - not only because it's Eluveitie's most recent release and I love them beyond words, but also because all of this mess IS mankind's fault in my view and proven by science, which makes a statement song like this even more urgent and vital within a world fading away.🌿💔 Environmentalism, but also approaching nature from a spiritual and pagan perspective have always been a matter very close to my heart and part of my inherent thinking, and it's really important to me to spread the message of "Exile of the Gods" as much as I can in order to wake people up before they do more harm to their utterly beautiful basis of existence, Mother Earth. What I love about the lyrics and the visuals here is that they are so clear and straightforward, as we don't have any time to waste if we really want to bring about change. Too often I feel that some people are being blind when it comes to the destruction we cause and the ruthless exploitation of natural resources, expecially if they consider their personal consumption and luxury to be their top priority, but I hope that a huge band like Eluveitie can achieve a shift in some peoples' minds. However, the track itself is an absolute masterpiece as always, merging metal and celtic folk as no one else can, and the chorus is simply unforgettable. Makes me look forward to their new album SO much!🔥 Thanks, Lee, for really getting into the lyrical background of the song - I'm really glad to see you liked it!
