I don't have fbx on version 1.13.2 either, I just downloaded the glb and then converted it online to fbx and successfully downloaded and implemented the animation.
I'm trying to add those objects at runtime in multiplayer games now in runtime it works but when I try to test it in oculus quest 2. it not working.. now it showing me that it's downloading the character but when the download is success and the avatar gameobject is Active it stuck the game. I tried to disable the game object when the download successed and enabled it after 5 seconds I got few time to see the logs and then as the model get enabled it stuck the game. and then quite was the only option.. I'm trying searching around internet can't find the issue.
Hey, first of thanks for the awesome content. I'm running SDK version 1.9 but it does not include the animationTarget fbx files. Would be awesome if you can share what version of the SDK you were using for this tutorial so I can pull it from there. Or if you have a good tip as to where to get them that's be great. Looking forward to more content!
@@DineshPunni currently, even version 1.7 is not working with Maxima, they updated it, Maxima does not recognize 3D models from ReadyPlayerMe anymore (they are unable to map it). I did try 10 different models :(
Hey, updating the video is on top of my list. Meanwhile, you can download the version I am using (1.7.0) from here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TxwcYY20f0wvW1OM8UsGdy2sfVAMk8rq
Question for you, after navigating to the AnimationTargets, then opening in File Explorer. My files aren't reading as "FBX". They say "Asset" instead, which Mixamo doesn't recognize. Is there a way to export an FBX manually? or perhaps there's another work around? Thanks!
When you download the Avatar it's usually in .glb format. The workaround to download .fbx file would be to connect your avatar to VR CHAT. Once that's done you will have an option to download the .fbx file.
wow - so cool and so useful! It is such a pitty that there aren't alot of views/comment/likes. It gets to show that the AR/VR tech is still in it's infancy and going in this now it's a very good time. Just switched carrer path from Product Management in business software development into this. Came with a begginer know how for javascript, 3D modeling, photoshop and some other and within Unity I'm up and running in less than 3 weeks. Will soon release a game for Google Cardboard in Android app store that I'm making more to learn. Quick question @Dinesh: My approuch is to learn c# basic, unity basic and make simple games with different mechanics and choose Google Cardbox as it's simpler in the beggining. Is it wrong? I want to make oculus apps and games in the end (maybe AR)? I could go fully only on Oculus as I have testing gear but I don't know if I should skip google cardbox (which I'm doing in the unity 2019 cause it's the last where the sdk still worked). Much appreciated and after I'm a bit more advanced will probably sign up for your immersive-insider :)
For the ready player me unity sdk v1.9.0, it doesn't have the animation target folder and files. In this way when I apply animation from maximo, the avatar doesn't fit well and the animation does't look like as same as the maximo one. Do you know how to fix this?

yea this seems to be the case for me. any idea why?
can we go over talking next?? connecting a chat bot (IBM WATSON is easy), then have the avatar move the lips to the words??
Sounds like a cool idea! I'll write it down. Thanks for your comment
@@DineshPunni Yes! This would be amazing!!
I'm watching your videos about AR VR technology and I learn so many things from that thank you so much for that ❤️
Thanks for your kind words :)
Happy to help
Very nice, a topic I wanted to learn about a while ago already but never did. Now I do! 🚀

How do you extract the avatar 3D element to animate in Mixamo?
So we don't need the rigging for ready me player model?

Hello Dinesh, they removed fbx in their latext version so Mixamo is unable to map avatar. Could you please do a video about the latext change?

I can not upload the avatar in fbx
any help?
Okay, but how do you get the .fbx?
Hey, you can connect your Avatar to VRChat. After which, you will be able to download the .fbx file from that Avatar.
