- In 2024, the XIV All-Diaspora Youth Conference of the Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia took place in Germany. It was attended by 130 young men and women from all over the world: Europe, USA, Australia, Canada and Hawaii. The conference is traditionally attended by bishops of the Russian Church Abroad: this time Bishop Iriney of London and Western Europe, Bishop Job of Stuttgart, and clergy from Germany, the United States, Canada, and Australia were present.

Wunderschön 🙏🏻 wie können sich die Jugendliche noch mehr ein bringen oder gibt es so etwas wie Ferienlager wo sich die orthodoxen Jugendliche treffen und Seminare oder ähnliches halten können.???
Hallo , Ja es gibt öfters Jugendveranstaltung oder ähnliches. Dies wird meist auch auf dem Instagram Kanal der ROJ veröffentlicht.

While the concept of an All-Diaspora Youth Conference is good, it is sad to know that it was limited to maximum age of 25. Obviously, the attendees are, for the most part, university-age students who, theoretically at least, are still pursuing their studies and are not yet seriously considering marriage since they have no means for supporting a family of their own (yes "accidents" do happen, but they are, hopefully, an exception, not the rule!).
However, youth above 25 years old who have already finished their university studies and are now, presumably working and, hence, are thinking about starting families of their own, have no such conference to go to. One can only hope that our ROCOR (РПЦЗ) church leadership will organize a conference for the age group 25-35. (Being a pessimist, however, I am not going to hold my breath waiting for this to occur, or I may turn blue in the face.)
