Hello! Just choose ENGLISH SUBTITLES and enjoy! A truly interesting story about a difficult life in Russia and overcoming obstacles and keeping a positive outlook no matter what!
God bless this sweet lady!! She is charming and direct. I hope to see her again on her 100th birthday. And I had no idea Russian country side is so beautiful. You are a great ambassador for your country. If we had people to people contacts the world would be more peaceful I think. Please continue to provide us with your videos.
Older generation is a rich resource for wisdom and insight. They give us a richer understanding of our numerous blessings in the present day. Superb video content! -j
Loved the interview Slava. What a wonderful lady, with an amazing outlook on life. I am nearly 81 and thank God for my life too. I live in the Canaries and the weather is very good for elderly people. Thank you so much
Oh my God, these carpets look fantastic! I can`t even imagine how much time and hard work they demand! I like to listen to such stories of such wonderful people like this lovely old lady. Maria Mikhailovna reminds me of my own great-grandmom from the village, my grandparents who have always been living in their private house near the city and working hard for all their lives (at a local factory + at their yard at the same time).. It seems that such people are always active and energetic, they have time for absolutely everything... I admire them! And I absolutely agree that forests and nature give us the energy to live long and happy! 🌿 I wish Maria Mikhailovna much health and to live much longer than till her 100th birthday, that she dreams about! 😊 BTW, your mom is so beautiful and nice!❤️
I am beginning to have a deeper understanding of Russia, her history and her people. I really appreciate your videos. Thanks a lot and Godspeed from the Philippines.
It was amazing listening to this elderly (over ninety six years old) saying: "Это моя работа" -- a carpet so nicely woven with colored flowers! Also, it was nice to see the ICONS on the table showing her faith. And, how about her singing a song from her remote memory! Finally, her memories about her Forests!
What a sweet old timer, she has lived through very hard times and despite her circumstances kept a joyful and positive attitude throughout her life...great lady, great video!
It was really interesting story. I studied in Kharkov and graduated in 1989. Since then I didn’t speak Russian but I almost understood all her conversations. I miss those days. We had a lot of babushkas friends and that was the best way to practice Russian language . Hope one day I visit Russia again.
I loved this video we need to hear these stories before our older people are gone she is a amazing person like the Russian solidier,s and civilan ,s of world war 2.
My dad passed away last year at 93 (yes, my parents had me late. So much so that we skipped a generation, there are no Basby Bommers in my family. I'm Gen X and my parents were "Silent Generation". My dad had a temper and it wasn't always easy to deal with him, but he had a lot of stories to tell. It's fascinating to listen to elders. I myself hope to live to over 100! It's such a short time when you think of it. ❤
Slava, what a wonderful lady. I wish everyone could watch this video and learn from her. If I could I would go there in 3.5 years just to be at her birthday party! I have no doubt that she will make it and then some. Please wish her well from here friends in the US.
5 thumbs up and congrats to the new toy. My maternal grandma lived to her 97th birthday and we had aimed at 100. Greed for heritage from a sole daughter came in the way. Respect your elders. Love, peace and justice.
1 day I would love to meet You and your wonderful family..!! And to meet that awesome older lady..!! I don't like to call older people old, but older..!! To me it's a sign of respect to call them older and not old because they are wiser than most if not all of of younger generation..!! Much Love And Respect To And For Them..!! ❤
Loved it. I used the built-in translator and watched the whole interview. She's a wonderful lady, and I enjoyed her stories! Please give her our thanks for sharing them.
What a great video, Such a lovely lady who has gone through so much hardship & shared her story, Much respect to her & I hope more healthy years to come for her.
that was amazing! Loved hearing Masha's stories and her secrets of longevity etc. Wish my Mum had made it to 96, but such is life...... your drone pics are excellent too, this vid really gave the start of my day a lovely beginning - many thanks!
I am 58 years old man living and working in Montreal Canada. In about 8 years from now I will retire. I remember the Soviet Union times. I like this lady’s positive attitude about living. What a great interview ! Thank you
As she keep talking I was thinking that she reminded me of someone. Then the penny dropped. She's very like my grandmother, my father's mother. In mannerisms and sense of humour.
Well it's the politicians that want us to think that we are very different. But we are all just human. Much love, you're always welcome to visit Russia.
Well done! Great ....what the happy...positive mind...joy...love...work can do in our life .. This beautiful "young old lady" teaches us and the nature, forest can give us health and long life...we see her gratitude for life...thank you and a gteat Hug and applauses for Masha...made me happy too...thanks a lot
This lady has a great memory . I wish that when I turn 96 if I live that long I will have the same memory like her. I’m 58 years old and my memory is quite good . she is relating great historical times . May God bless her .
Slava, This was a wonderful interview. The subtitles worked very well, I realize it took a lot of work but it was excellent. Morozova Maria Mihailova is full of life. I wish she would have sang the Fisherman’s song to the end I would love to learn to sing it. Your videos make me feel as though I am there with you, your mother and Natalia. The effect of putting me in the video had me expecting to drink чай with everyone, and preparing to sing many songs. If there presents an opportunity to record the fishermans song in its entirety I would dearly treasure it.
It is a great video.A great lady who has seen so much of life in very turbulent times of Russian history, yet so positive ,so alive even at 96.A great salute to her and thanks for sharing this precious interview.
What a beautiful lady inside and out! She doesn’t even look anywhere near her age. Kind of reminds me of my grandmother and her friends when I was growing up. I always loved listening to their stories about life growing up during the war and the depression. We sure could learn a lot listening to what their generation has to share with us.
Wow...such a amazing lady.Really loved her spirit.Nature has something connected with us.Now we lost it somewhere in phones gaming devices or other technology gigs
OMG! What a wonderful woman. How I wish I could meet her. That generation saw it all, good and bad and she handled with grace and humor. I can't imagine living on grass and clover. She's got a good memory and good humor. The rug she made is absolutely priceless. I love the blouse she wore as well. I hope when she turns 100 you go back and film more of her. The woman who interviewed the 96 year old woman did a wonderful job 👍🏼. It’s amazing how the 96 year old woman has such a sharp mind and great memory.
This grand old lady has a sense of humour and has consistently worked hard. Her carpet is a wonder. She has a good eye for color.
