It always gets me Thinking, they’re having Issues with NO Heat and you’re Adding Freon. It’s going to be a Cold 🥶 week here in Midwest so Thanks for efforts. 👍
Looks like the horizontal drain pan was not removed when installed. I wonder if coil baffle was left in as well. maybe this brand of unit doesn't have one though. also where's the condensate P=trap? looks like a bad install altogether. Just a quick inspection shows alot.
It's cool at 74 degrees here on the East coast of central Florida, but at least the sun's out. Always nice to see you correcting a problem that people are having with their HVAC system up there in Georgia. 😎
What a weird spot for the air handler box. In a bathroom? My air box is in a cabinet with the water heater, and both are behind a folding door, and it's very noisy!
Watching between this and the game, that's dedication. Nice little vid, and all because of a valve, hang on SF just scored. 7 up right now. I could tell when you started adding freon, the compressor got quieter. I guess with the heat pumps you need that refrigerant to transfer the heat just as much as the cold in cool. Also it must not use the elements unless it's real cold or in emergency heat. Pardon me if I sound stupid, I don't know much about heat pumps.
@@renecuevas4128 If there is dye on the outside of the condenser, up from the bottom, I would be looking for a leak in the coil. With the junk being produced these days, it could be anywhere.
Nice video. I would have weighed in the charge Recover what you had and add differences. Wished you would have answered my question I asked on yesterday comment. You sounded pretty sick. Hope you got over it
Watch n u can tell he had a small leak on E coil serv port inside...Replaced the Srhaeder Valve n now he is Adding Ref hope is the only leak those Alum coils leak
Always makes the day better when a new HVAC Life vid goes live.

He is adding Ref since it's a Heat pump...or most commonly called a Rev Cycle AC unit

They always leave the Hoz Drain pan to cover front panel holes. Trust me it doesn't hurt nada
Keep up the great work !

Another day another dollar. Thanks Curtis. Will you be at AHR next week In Atlanta??
I want to be, but I’m skipping it. I’m spending a small fortune on this van. Not going is just one way I can save a little.
Great job. Bravo! God Bless.
Good little vid Curt ... Thx as always ...
Which leak detector is that one? Thanks
Good work curtis
Hey Curtis, was that dye on the condenser ?
They probably were looking for a leak already

I'd like to get your opinion on these shark bite fittings over brazing.
Brazing is more secure no leaks. Shark bites great for Chilled water system s
I m like Curtis but i have no good video equipment in SFl doing hvac
Good videos. Would be even better with a bit more commentary on what you are doing.

Hey Guy, what brand of leak detector are u using in this video
Inficon Stratus
New Generation of Inficon I got same style in the 80 s but got stolen or lost
You do alot of home warranty calls.
Say at 55 degrees outside air temperature, 410A refrigerant. What would be your high and low pressures in heat mode. Couldn’t read your gauges.
Don’t want to guess. Generally I look for head pressures above 300 and pay attention to temperature on suction.
