    Hey, your video is really helpful. But, you did not mention the variable that determine the M value? Why 10 mins compartment's M value is 75 feet? Does this M value come through trial and error experiment or is there any other way to figure it out?

      M valure differs a little from different algorithms, acoording to historic DCS data.

      These are randomly selected numbers to illistrate a point. The M values vary in different algorithms. All are based on trial and error testing many years ago and some more modern studies. Haldane is famous as one of the pioneers of this testing and algorithm development.
