This is so beautiful. I've been connected to a guy from Iowa (ohio? :D ) that I bumped into down in the Snowy Range, an area which he repeatedly would come to every year. This last year he decided to go instead to the Big Horns, and he loved it. I like to think of it as Wyoming's best kept secret. Lovely. Jules
Good morning Jules and thank you for your comment. The Big Horns are close to home and a wonderful place to spend time but i think the best kept secret is out. I've never seen the trail head at Circle Park as crowded as i did last summer. Full to the max with out of state plates. Many from Colorado. Take care Jules....
Thanks Nic. I did a lot of hiking/backpacking this year. i have some video to edit. i am waiting some original music to add to the video. take care my friend.
Thanks potatohorn. it's Florence Canyon and Clear Creek. The creek flows thru some rough country and is great fishing. i alway appreciate your watching and taking time to leave a comment.
Thanks for the video! I've recently been on the hunt for videos or pictures of this area. I'm originally from Wyoming but live in Virginia now. Used to camp in the Bighorns and had some spooky stuff happen to us on one of our trips one time near soldier's park. Nice video!
Thank you. Hopefully the "spooky stuff" wasn't enough to stop you from returning to the Big Horns or other great places in Wyoming. I hike and backpack allover Wyoming so if you need any advice just ask. Take Care...martin
@@wyopobo5339 actually I have a question. Have you ever come across a cabin near a little lake? I've been trying to find a cabin that we found when I was a kid. It was fully stocked with an old bed, wood stove and food. Nobody else knows what I'm talking about.
@@rachelynn3079 I'm assuming the cabin was in a remote location and it was in the Big Horns. I don't know of a cabin by a lake but I don't know all of the cabins in the Big Horns. I'm betting the cabin was used as a cow camp on a cattle lease. I know of a few by creeks. I'm more familiar with the southern end of the Big Horns up from Buffalo, Wy. I wish i could help more.
@@rachelynn3079 There's a cabin on French Cr. that a person can drive to and a cabin on Middle Rock Cr in Fire Box Park that is very remote and many miles of hiking. One on Pole Cr. not far from the highway.

@@wyopobo5339 it may have been a creek. This was probably 25 years ago. We always came in from Buffalo though. Thanks for your help!
