My biggest question is why was Ibogaine+ chosen as the psychedelic therapy path. I'm vaguely familiar w/ psilocybin, LSD, MDMA or ketamine used for therapeutic purposes but this is my first encounter w Ibogaine used therapeutically. Can anyone tell me what is choice for which conditions? There needs to be much more information on this subject of which therapy for what condition. Perhaps Chris can pursue this important consideration.

Observe Shawn’s demeanor transform right before your eyes as he discusses being a Dad, his pride in his wife, his astonishment while observing his son’s first steps, etc. What a blessing. Shawn is young at just 40 yo and has so many wonderful things to experience with his family, with his community. He’s healing, and I wish he and his family the best of luck and know that true love will heal a person. Very hopeful indeed.
Shawn's marriage has had a lot to do with his path since he got out. Working on his attributes that he felt were an issue simply increased his anxiety. His initial discussion over this with Mike Glover sent chills through me. I got back from Vietnam and felt the only thing worth going through that was that the US would never do something like that again. Boy was I wrong. I really didn't think I would ever spend another day in the Army. I got out for 5 years and then went back in. I really didn't drink heavily until I went SF. It was sort of expected, and I was willing to play my part. The anxiety and the drinking just became part of life. Spent 5 years in SF, then went Aviation. Got out in 96 and it got worse. I had always been able to fix things, but I couldn't fix me. Asking for help was over ridden with fear. Took years of going downhill until I finally quit drinking by getting some help. Shawn and Mike really impress me with how they got to where they are being so young. I'm now 73 and have had lung cancer since 2015. That will introduce you to being humble. Sitting in a radiation lobby waiting for your appointment and seeing women bravely going through the deal and showing kindness to those around them. It will change you. Thats what I see in Shawn now. Kindness. It's an attribute normally associated with weakness in type A bad ass people. It doesn't have to be, but in my journey that's how it's been. I appreciate Shawn for his open, humble, kind, and truthful message. Y'all be safe. Peace.
my drinking was bad before combat. Actually had a Team Leader get me sober. I believe I had a much easier time post war because I didn't drink anymore. I feel lucky. welcome home young man.
I arrived in the USA in 1978 and saw so many young men affected by the war in Vietnam and I was astonished at how few people in society cared about them. I wasn’t even a citizen of the USA yet and I was ashamed of the lack of awareness of what you all went through especially the coming home part. And when I read comments like yours sir, it just hurts my heart to see how long so many of you suffered. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and giving people like me some additional perspective and welcome home.
Having lived in England ‘59-‘92, I recognize Chris’s attitude about civilians owning weapons and having training. It lines up with being a subject, not a citizen; as if governments are somehow miraculously more responsible, more sensible, and less corrupt than the rest of us.
That was a huge thing I noticed as well. As he was talking about the “need” for weapons, it ultimately shifted to the “need” for knowledge. I was like….”spoken like a true Brit 🙄”
I was surprised to hear that Shawn agreed with him. BUT he said he likes the fact that it's up yo each individual what they want to share and teach which is how it should be. Our ultimate freedom lies in our voice.
Citizens must not be responsible for the criminal cabal embedded in government, weaponisation of the justice system, J6ers held without bail, and millions of foreign border invaders. Seems like the reality is that the 2cnd A is a mix of anachronism and folk tale.
Yeah, that was a typical reaction of a person willing to relinquish their freedom and self determination to achieve the illusion of security. Any knowledge he's concerned about "falling into the wrong hands" is out there, has been out there, in US Army field manuals, in novels, in interviews. It's readily learned from either serving in the military or befriending someone who has served. Studying organic chemistry can make someone so inclined a very lethal person. The list really is endless. Obviously, there is a balance but the outright restriction of information isn't the answer. It just isn't.
Very glad I wasn’t the only one who’s head turned sideways about that. First time listening to Chris, but hoping a year later he has a better understanding oh civilian preparedness in America. Not everybody is gonna get it, or be about it though…
This is probably Shawn's best appearance as an interviewee. I've been a huge fan of his for a long time, and now I'm a huge fan of Chris! Nice work, gents
I landed here because I have followed Shawn for a couple of years. This was a good interview, but the white letters that kept popping up on the lower left & right of the screen were very distracting!!! Very unnecessary and annoying.
Completely agree!! I was born and raised on AF bases…. All I wanted to do was be a nurse in Vietnam…. But that war was over by the time I was out of nursing school. Joined the AF, then by pure chance, deployed to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. Literally was the best, most valuable time of my life, but since wished I had been a combat medic. To help folks in the thick would have made my life complete. Nothing but complete respect and awe for the SEALS and other special ops! Thank you so much for your service and sacrifice for our wonderful country!!!!
What you didn't cover on his resume' is that Shawn has become one of the best journalists in America over at The Shawn Ryan Show. His content is second to none. The man is a national treasure. Thank you for a fantastic interview Chris and Shawn.
I'm not sure if Shawn (with all due respect for him) is "one of the best journalists in America". There is a huge gap between podcaster and journalist in my book, one doesn't exclude other, one can be both but podcaster does not automatically means journalist. For example: A journalist woman that helped with the case of 4 guys from BW massacre in iraq. That's a very good journalist. Developing stories, reaching to sources, witnesses, documents, publishing the findings in truthful and interesting style and so on. That's more/less what a good journalist job should be. Podcasting can also include reaching out to people and their stories but that's more/less an entertainment, storytelling. It can also be with some agenda, with some value to the public and/or guest but that's different from journalism.
@@aeonikus1 Everyone is a journalist who chooses to become one. There are no gatekeepers; there never were. It's intrinsic to the 4th Estate. These days, the independents, the Shawns of the world, are the only journalists left. I don't think you know the history of US and international journalism my friend.
He’s not a journalist. He’s an interviewer. Journalists go out and get stories. They get news. They find things people have yet to know. Shawn doesn’t do anything near that. He simply asks people with interesting stories to come on his show and asks them questions so they’ll talk about themselves. He’s a good interviewer. A very good one. But he’s not a journalist.
I love this interview. Shows how much Chris pays attention, not a ton of people in Chris's normal listenership probably know Shawn Ryan's channel, but it's good content. Fantastic job, Chris.
Great interview. Yes this interview brought out more background on Shawn Ryan than I would have thought he would ever reveal. Now I’m a Chris subscriber. For Shawn to agree to an interview with him speaks volumes.
I’ve enjoyed this interview, as a huge Shawn Ryan show advocate, this was a pop up and I’ve really enjoyed it , good interviewer, good questions, different questions he has asked Shawn, asked in a way to get to know the man not his past work only. Nice job. And as another comment on here I’ve also noticed Shawn’s change for the better since the treatment.
Better than Joe Rogan. It’s typical of the American spectator that they prefer a comedian and gym rat over a man like Sean Ryan who is substantially more interesting. Besides JR doesn’t have gummies!
I have been a fan of Mr. Ryan's for a couple years now. Ever since I watched a video where he spoke openly about some of his demons. He didn't have the answers, but it was clear, he was going to figure out a way slay them. I admire his bravery being open and genuine almost as much as his bravery serving this country. I thank you for having him on your channel.
For anyone who hasn't seen Shawn Ryan's podcast episode on his psychedelic experience; it is one of the most life affirming things I've ever watched. You literally watch a man relive the moments that bring him back from the edge and you can see an obvious change from daily struggle to letting go and being present
As a young man who has been getting his butt whipped mentally, id like to thank yall both for shedding light onto such a dark world. Its a blessing to lnow good ppl are still fighting around the world. Thank again for the inspiration to not give up.
Never give in. Don’t let the haters get an easy win because you gave up. Nothings easy in life and it is a cruel world but you know what? We’re all on the same playing field, life is tough for everyone. The good thing about living in a cruel world is that suffering, unfortunate situations in life builds character as long as you don’t give up. Keep your head up, keep moving forward and don’t look back. If your not a man of faith, maybe look into the Bible, if you are a believer of the lord, pray, pray for strength and health to endure life’s curve balls. Take care, peace out, and God bless you.
Well said, brother. And you are not alone. One thing that really helped me when I was younger was Stoicism & the teachings of Marcus Aurelius. It delves into assigning the correct importance to the things/factors in your life... "Give me the courage to change the things that I can, and the strength to accept the things that I cannot." If something/someone doesn't have any actual power over you, then don't give them any. Anywho, that's just some stuff that helped me. Take care 🙏
I mean technically we are, more CO2 in the atmosphere means we’re losing more of our brain power.. and that’s just 1 of the things going wrong on our planet
It’s clearly evident just listening to Shawn talk, that he can eliminate you and anyone you brought with you in a quick, efficient manner. I admire that. And I love his podcast. He’s doing great work
I absolutely agree. Like so many of us need to do, he's learning how to get out of his own way. The guy has a lot going on in his life. New father, business obligations... He's figuring it out. I wish him nothing but the best.
When Shawn first hit the scene, I just didn't click with his content. Within the last year, he has become my favorite Podcaster. He is the poster boy for growth within your adult years.
Shawn, I have been on this earth for over 7 decades and have watched this country deteriorate exponentially. I am beyond angry, rage consumes me😡. The flag represents fallen warriors for freedom. I lost friends/boyfriends in Vietnam and married 2 combat vets. I am we aware of the sacrifices our warriors make. Chris, excellent content. Thank you both for your time.🇺🇸
YES! This is why I occasionally check my subscriptions feed because this didn't pop up in my recommended. Shawn Ryan's podcast with DJ Shipley is just one of the best podcasts I've listened to, hands down. Can't wait to listen to this one. Thanks!
DJ Shipley blew me away as well on SRS! I’ve listened to it several times by now. Cody Alford is equally as intriguing on SRS, #34. I’m amazed at the truth these incredible men access and tell. They are doing God’s work, IMHO.😊
@@brendanriley1968 They may be doing God's work. But they kept Allah busy as a bee trying to fit his homies body parts back together so they could get a head start on those 72 virgins
Watching him light up when talking about his son was the best moment of an already great podcast. Knowing that he has seen, done, and experienced things most of us could never imagine in our worst nightmares, and then seeing the absolute joy and love that he has when talking about his son, made me so happy for him. Thank you sir for all you have done for this country, know that there are still many of us that don't have those entitled, ungrateful opinions, we just aren't as loud and obnoxious as them. It warms my heart to know you found love and happiness, and some peace in your life after the sacrifices you have made for others. You deserve it
Shawn Ryan is a must Hear podcast, less then a year I found him, literally the most amazing conversations and no bs interviews. Much love and respect. I thank you having him on the show. 👏🏼
Shaun is really an impressive guy. His personal growth, from a seemingly troubled vet when Vigilance Elite first started. To now, with the Shaun Ryan Show, open mindedness, and post psychedelics such obvious humility and comfort in his own skin. “Everything is going to be ok”. We should all remember that. When Shaun said ‘everybody dies’ reflecting on my own trauma I remember when I realised this and the comfort that, whatever our beliefs the one thing we all share is that…..life starts….and life ends.
Absolutely love this. I’m an avid follower of Shawns channel, and he always lets his guests have the floor, never pushing himself or his own stories/ego to the front to make it a competition of who’s better (like so many interviewers do).. It’s really awesome to hear Shawns story, in the same kind of space as the one he creates for his guests. Thank you Chris, an absolutely superlative job. Look forward to listening to all the others in the library, happy to subscribe. Cheers 👍
I’ve been a subscriber of Chris’s channel for a long time now and it’s for the exact reason you just described. Now I’m excited to explore Shawn’s channel!
Ryan is a great guy and very down-to-earth, and I have noticed the change in him in recent months where it seems like he's more at peace and wants to use his platform as well as his voice to stand up for what's right in the world. What he does isn't just doing a podcast, but making a difference.
Amazing interview. I believe this format is what most people crave. And a 100 percent respect to Ryan for being open and honest in the discussion. It showed ❤ Not a lot of the younger generation know to thank you for your service. They will get there. Be patient with their process. You gave them the freedom to do that. ❤
I began to use Shawn Ryan as my standard. I’m striving and completing tasks that will put me in a position to be better ,based on his feedback and experiences from his life. It’s my first time listening to this channel and now you have a lifelong listener, thank you Chris!
I've listened to thousands of podcast interviews and this one is absolutely on my top three. The comfort, honesty and openess is amazing. Shawn is such a special person and his persona and message is something our country desperately needs. He is one of my favorite people in this unsettled world. KOL HAKAVOD!!
Shawn is a magnificently candid mammal. He was always a stud, but he has transformed into a loving, fearless present man since his psychedelic therapy.
Sean has come a very long ways. Before he couldn’t put a sentence together without getting all messed up. I respect the journey, the dedication to our country and the his treatment for his family…his son. God Bless You Sean and your service and the hard journey you had to get to this day. I am glad you made it successfully and are so much better!
1:28:30 not gonna pretend I didn't just tear up a little there. Been going through alot lately and to hear you, Shawn, who has been through hell and back say that everything is gonna be okay, gave me just the little bit of hope I needed.
We’re here for ya Dave. One thing at a time man, tend to the part of the garden you can reach, and the things out of reach will work themselves out. You’ll be squared away though. I appreciate you!
Hands down, one of the best videos I have watched in a while. I’ve watched Shawn Ryan in a few other videos and he almost seemed haunted - very much the quiet man - when he spoke you listened. It was great to see him in what appears to be a great place at the moment. And I’ve got to say, the questions were great (and intelligent), it wasn’t a case of “oh, you were in the seals, how many people have you killed”. There was a real maturity to the interview and it flowed really well. I’m glad I come across this
I sitting here listening to you Shawn as a Air Force vet, came home after Vietnam , overseas for 2 and a half years and I see nothing has changed. Thankyou for your platform.
I'm an ex convict who spent decades in a cage full of all types of people who drasticly pressed the limits of society my best friend has a past simular to Shawn's our paths are the same now and the experiences are so similar with a different title crazy to think of my hats off to you and Shawn thank you for this interview my brain is on overload
I love this interview. Shawn Ryan has a rich story to tell. But, I’ve never heard this much detail. The completeness of this interview is so skillfully guided by Chris, I never wanted this to end.
I really like Shawn, he’s humble, honest, and unafraid to be vulnerable and allow strangers to know his mistakes, how and why he corrected them. We’ve all made them to varying degrees and it inspires me to accept mine and do whatever I can to correct them and move on. It’s also super inspirational to see what he’s built from scratch with his amazing podcast and Patreon family. He works so hard to give us the most meaningful guests with mega important topics that help us make sense of what’s going on in the world and what part we can play in managing our own lives so that we are minimally affected. There’s NOBODY in that space doing what he’s doing. He is a credit to humanity and shall be looked after by all of us because of his overall value. I love that he explored psychedelics. It takes a ton of courage to do that for control freaks like us. I’m so happy for the benefits it brought him and I can’t wait to do it myself. I can’t wait to see what’s next. This interview is fucken amazing!!
The 1st thing that stood out for me about Shawn besides his humility was in the beginning when he said that he didn't know what it would be like if nothing mattered. I think he said that because in a way it describes how he shares absolute value in everything that consists of his life. It takes a lot to be aware of so much and while learning so much more everyday, still have hope knowing, that with each step he takes in everything he does, has a sense of purpose for the overall sake and betterment of the good.
I became a father at 40. And yes most my friends were 10-15 years ahead of me at this I feel that I am a better father now then I would have been at 20 years old. I also appreciate her and life a lot more!
I love Keanu Reeve’s nature❤ Now I know why he was such a good fighter in John Wick. Brilliant Shawn Ryan made him very realistic and believable. Thanks for having one of a kind- Shawn Ryan - on your show.
Hey Chris, Shawn brought me here and I thoroughly enjoyed this interview and your style. You’re intelligent, you ask great questions, you have great commentary, you did an amazing job with this one. Im going down the rabbit hole of your content to consume more. Great job man! Thanks!!
Shawn is so right on and a great interviewer. He is an impressive interviewee and I am so glad he has a great wive and family and is a great father as well. Just a true hero. Heroes wear dogtags, not shoulder pads.
Really, really like Shawn so thanks for this Chris. Shawn is that mix of humble and quiet that tells you just what he's been through and what he's capable of.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom Shawn Ryan and for your service to our country. And, thank you Chris for being such a peaceful, yet thorough interviewer. This was a splendid conversation!
I wish you would have let Shawn talk more without interrupting him. He would start to go deeper and then you'd interject at just the wrong time before he could.
CW believes he is not a midwit and can inform and teach when in reality he is just a middling conduit for people with substantive things to say, like his guests. He suffers from a swollen ego and shallowness. I suppose his show has a bunch of midwits or worse as subscribers (of which there are millions, unfortunately). I wonder if he knows about the Bell Curve or is pedantic not based on his own knowledge but rather what his guest has taught him. I find him annoying and overconfident. I tuned in because I like Shawn and will tune out after that.
Shawn used his CIA mind tricks and slowly took over the podcast and started interviewing the host... I think he realized it at the last minute and pulled the ripcord. 😂😂😂 Well played sir. Well played.
Great guest Chris, I love Shawn's podcasts he's a great interviewer himself. He's actually one of the very few Americans I've got any time for. He's not loud, brash, doesn't talk about himself. He's not trying to impress anyone. He also doesn't have any arrogance at all about himself. I've got a lot of respect for him & yourself of course. Well done mate.
Huge fan of Shawn Ryan. I’ve been following the growth of his podcast, since it’s inception. Also a new, but huge fan of you as well, and your approach, to these interviews/conversations. Your authenticity, is very noticable, with your interest in your guest’s stories. I love that you find it interesting/important, for them to elaborate, on thing’s said, or emotions expressed, to gain further insight/context. I don’t know your background, but it reminds me of a couple psychologists, I’ve talked to over the years. Examples being “ talk about… “ or “ give me an example of…. or “ what do you mean, when you say…. “ GREAT STUFF!
Ive watched a lot of Shawn Ryan podcasts....but have never seen Shawn being interviewed.....enjoyed listening to him talk about himself for a change....
You hit the nail on the head! Some people who are prepping are potentially wanting to escalate situations in order to prove something rather than deescalate the situation.
Most importantly, Sean Ryan is a brilliant interviewer. Love his show. Im proud to be a fan of his TH-cam videos from a few years ago. I wish I had a friend like him to check in with every now and then. God bless.
I normally watch Seal podcasts interviewing other Seals, but this was good because Chris was asking more probing questions about for example CIA contractor selection evolutions which helped clear things up for non military people. Thanks!
Mr Shawn Ryan is the man I've been listening to him since he's started his TH-cam live your content and even more so your interview thanks for everything you've given us and your sacrifices Mr Ryan
I’m so grateful that my father taught me street smarts when he would take me into New York City as a child. He taught me to not look, don’t point, don’t trust, don’t engage, move away, etc. I didn’t realize how valuable those lessons were until now that I need them in the suburban grocery store parking lot. Crazy times.
Hey Chris, found this on my feed and am a big fan of Shawn. Really appreciate your conversational awareness and pace with when to butt to ask a question. Really enjoyed this!
Shawn Ryan is awesome. Nice interview too, you really kept it digestible for those of us not from that world. Of all the people coming out these days Shawn gets the best guests and really gets the most out of his interviews. I always wonder if he's calculated and silently directing the interviews with his smirk. He gets so much out of his guests while saying SO LITTLE.
I really enjoyed this one, even though I am double the age of these guys there are always things to learn and learning stuff can be so much fun. Thanks a lot it is great to see Chris is happy where he's at. Not too many people can say that, it is a seriously good accomplishment.
Great interview, great content. Great job, Chris. Big fan of Shawn, i found out about Shawn Ryan Show just a month ago. What a great podcast he has set up. Very binge worthy.
Nail on the concerning the drinking. I stopped drinking to improve my health 10 years ago and instantly was no longer invited to parties or other social gatherings and when I told people I don't drink they all thought I was alcoholic! I started telling people I rarely drink and control my blood sugar by not drinking....that seems to be a little better. Great podcast!
One of the best interviews I've ever seen. Thank you for interviewing Sean. I love his show and I am happy to hear his take on all the topics you discussed. Thank you. I am going to be watching your show now as well. You're very intelligent and help make the complicated understandable to people like my self. God bless

Chris is a really great interviewer! He is very quick with his follow up questions to his guests responses. It shows how much he really listens.
@@negativeionz I don’t think YOU know what journalism is. And if you think Shawn Ryan is a journalist then you’re as big a muppet as Shawn is
He’s not a journalist.
I wonder if people who think shawn is a journalist also wonder how the media and news got to the state it’s in today.
Men like these two seem always too be the most humble....
Their level of empathy and care is truly inspiring.
I love this interview. Shows how much Chris pays attention, not a ton of people in Chris's normal listenership probably know Shawn Ryan's channel, but it's good content. Fantastic job, Chris.
Yes, I am a fan of Shawn Ryan's and this is the first time I've seen this channel. I just subscribed. People named 'Chris' are usually pretty cool. 😎😜
I only know Shawn Ryan that’s why I clicked on this lol
Great interview. Yes this interview brought out more background on Shawn Ryan than I would have thought he would ever reveal. Now I’m a Chris subscriber. For Shawn to agree to an interview with him speaks volumes.
I’ve enjoyed this interview, as a huge Shawn Ryan show advocate, this was a pop up and I’ve really enjoyed it , good interviewer, good questions, different questions he has asked Shawn, asked in a way to get to know the man not his past work only. Nice job. And as another comment on here I’ve also noticed Shawn’s change for the better since the treatment.
Shawn Ryan is such a top notch human. His show is THE BEST.
The Shawn Ryan Show is by far one of the best podcasts ever
You are right . I just discovered this and didn’t know Shawn had done interviews for other podcasts. His Humility is admirable.
Better than Joe Rogan. It’s typical of the American spectator that they prefer a comedian and gym rat over a man like Sean Ryan who is substantially more interesting. Besides JR doesn’t have gummies!
@@WW-on6bo joe has other gummies dont you worry :D
@@WW-on6boWhy you so mad at Joe?🤦🏻♂️
The Shawn Ryan Show is one of the best things to happen to this country for openness it brings on topics and the rawness
Would you mind helping me find which video you’re talking about?
@@soxfan182 Social Anxiety - 6 Tips from a Navy SEAL on the Shawn Ryan Show channel
For anyone who hasn't seen Shawn Ryan's podcast episode on his psychedelic experience; it is one of the most life affirming things I've ever watched. You literally watch a man relive the moments that bring him back from the edge and you can see an obvious change from daily struggle to letting go and being present
which episode was that and which psychadelics? did he say how to get them? im going through some extremely bad depression and cant get out of the past

Sean is the real deal. No Bullshit. Straight Talk. His podcast is IMO one of the BEST out there.
Take care 🙏
" I just feel like the population overall is getting dumber ." - Sean Ryan , Thank you ! I couldn't agree MORE !!
Mark, I was going to say the opposite is true. I think people such as Shawn are elevating the bar.
Unfortunately, true.
I mean technically we are, more CO2 in the atmosphere means we’re losing more of our brain power.. and that’s just 1 of the things going wrong on our planet
I have a low IQ, I agree
Case and point. His name is in the title of this and you still spelled it wrong. 🤦🏿♂️
It’s clearly evident just listening to Shawn talk, that he can eliminate you and anyone you brought with you in a quick, efficient manner. I admire that. And I love his podcast. He’s doing great work
Lol what
I've seen street bums that can do that too.
That isn't what makes Sean special.
No you haven't @giqwaju3691
Shawn has changed noticeably since the psychedelics, seems happier and more at peace
I agree!
Absolutely!! His whole demeanor changed, he just seems to be more focused and relaxed at the same time.
Also coincided with quiting alcohol , will do that to you
I absolutely agree. Like so many of us need to do, he's learning how to get out of his own way. The guy has a lot going on in his life. New father, business obligations... He's figuring it out. I wish him nothing but the best.
Rogan and Iron Mike says it works.
When Shawn first hit the scene, I just didn't click with his content. Within the last year, he has become my favorite Podcaster. He is the poster boy for growth within your adult years.
I love listening to Shawn. He is so genuine and honest when he talks about his past.
Thank you both for your time.🇺🇸
Sounds like psychedelics might help with your rage ❤️
Deterioration nationwide!! I'm 70 and a grandma. I'm worried about the dumbing down and the complacency of our populace!
I'd try it.@@Aetriex
YES! This is why I occasionally check my subscriptions feed because this didn't pop up in my recommended. Shawn Ryan's podcast with DJ Shipley is just one of the best podcasts I've listened to, hands down. Can't wait to listen to this one. Thanks!
I couldn't agree more
DJ Shipley blew me away as well on SRS!
Yes sir
Everything matters. It starts in the unseen and moves into manifestation. Everything matters and becomes our reality.
Great stuff. Shawn Ryan is legit. We need 500,000 more EXACTLY LIKE HIM.
Shawn Ryan is such a thoughtful dude. Clearly he has assessed the spectrum and issues his opinion with conviction.
Chris is such a good interviewer. It's such an overlooked skill, but it IS a skill and he nails it.
Seemed to me that Chris gave his opinion on the topic first, then waited for a response from Shawn. Shawn is a better interviewer hands down..
I have to disagree -- he missed what Shawn actually said multiple times. And he talks too much and listens too little. Shawn is a good listener.
@@TheGonzogibbyhe tried to finish his point a lot as well which is annoying.
Amazing interview. I believe this format is what most people crave. And a 100 percent respect to Ryan for being open and honest in the discussion. It showed ❤
Not a lot of the younger generation know to thank you for your service.
The best part was his expression. Genuine. He actually believed what he was saying.
We’re here for ya Dave. One thing at a time man, tend to the part of the garden you can reach, and the things out of reach will work themselves out. You’ll be squared away though. I appreciate you!
This is one of my favorites. When Don sang, it bright tears to my eyes. Thank you Shawn for documenting this man’s story. A walking hero amongst us!
Shawn Ryan's podcast is amazing. Highly, highly recommended 👌
I’m glad I come across this
Great interview. I love Shawn’s show, but to actually see him open up was awesome. I appreciate all he’s done for our amazing country even more now.
I sitting here listening to you Shawn as a Air Force vet, came home after Vietnam , overseas for 2 and a half years and I see nothing has changed. Thankyou for your platform.
what a great interview. It's amazing to see Shawn finally speaking about his experiences. He's as honest and real as it gets. Incredible
This is by far one of my favorite podcasts! Big Fan of Shawn.
I have watched this twice now. Shawn Ryan and Chris Williamson are my favorite podcasts by a mile. Really appreciate both of you.
Chris talks too much
the difference in sean from his first ritland interview to now is amazing. you can tell he is happier/sharper. good for you man.
Shawn Ryan is a great dude, does an amazing podcast, I recommend the DJ Shipley one its very raw
I became a father at 40. And yes most my friends were 10-15 years ahead of me at this I feel that I am a better father now then I would have been at 20 years old. I also appreciate her and life a lot more!
I have come to genuinely appreciate the Shawn Ryan show. This is the first time I've heard Shawn be interviewed. Great show Chris.
Thanks!!
Could have not used all the f-bombs though!
I love how this guy interviews Shawn. He doesn’t let anything pass him, and gets solid clarification. Love it 🤙
Shawn is so right on and a great interviewer.

Shawn is awesome , he has a top notch show and in my opinion the best, and deepest interviews on any platform.
Been watching Shawn for years. FASCINATING channel.
Ive watched a lot of Shawn Ryan podcasts....but have never seen Shawn being interviewed.....enjoyed listening to him talk about himself for a change....
This guy is becoming my new favorite TH-camr.

Fantastic hearing Shawn's story. His podcast is great and he lets others tell their entire story.
