I instantly fell in love with this song. It’s uplifting, with a strength that makes you want to go forward, which for me makes me want to go for a run, haha 🏃🏼♀️. I like that it’s raw and honest, which to me is classic Katy. She says the painful, hard things, but in a hopeful way. This song is refreshing, and easy to listen to.
I listened to this song on a run yesterday so i feel you😂 it even allowed me to run shirtless, something ive been dying to do for a while
The album is coming on 14th of August with 12 tracks 1st track is never really over,4th track is daisies and the 10th track is Harley's in Hawaii. Unfortunately other droplets like Small talk, Never worn white,365 will not be included in the tracklist maybe in the deluxe edition. You never know!!

Jj Kun Katy’s said most of it herself. The album was announced by amazon and confirmed by billboard.

i saw that HIH & NRO were on deluxe but not the others? and ofc there is the leaked track (smile) and its also apparently the album name, which was intended to be the lead but changed to daisies bcuz of the current situations rn
@@pb7653 oh, really? I had heard she chose a different song to play during this time and smile was supposedly better than daisies I had heard since daisies is the second choice.
It reminds me so much both lyrically and sonically of This Moment and Love Me from PRISM (my personal favorite era by far), with the contrast being that those songs were more “in the moment” type songs, and this is almost more of a reflection on life and determination for the future. I also love the use of acoustic guitar in the song, because I feel like it gives the song more character. An instant favorite!

One of my favorite songs from Katy Perry is her song Double Rainbow. I would love to hear more songs like that one. I feel like it's a song that I like but no one really thinks about from her Prism album. I love the atmosphere of the song and what it's about. The song has these echoes in the back ground and nice echoy drums. The song has this euphoric quality that I really like. And I love how she sounds when she sings "is hard to find" at the end of the chorus. It's a way her voice sounds that other people don't really have. I also love the other vocal lines she adds in the last chorus that are really pretty.

as for the high notes, yep, we all are waiting for them live, but Katy herself said she has to lower the key now as the baby is pushing her diaphragm, so I guess we'll enjoy the performance in the original key after the baby is born :)

The chorus of this song is identical to the chorus of "Don't leave me alone" by Anne Marie and David Guetta. Daisies is just an octave lower with vocals. The instruments are different but if you start both choruses at the same time they are identical.
