I love how Bryan Cranston's real life persona more so resembles Hal than Walt. Both are great characters but it's hard to imagine one actor had the talent to play both.

You'know, i thought it would always be the other way around. Sometime after Malcolm in the middle; Hal develops an interest in chemistry and over time gets himself into trouble. Long story short; he divorces Lois, changes his name, moves to new mexico, attends college, meets Skyler, gets his degree in advanced chemistry, becomes a teacher and so begins breaking bad
That could or could not work given the timezones it was based on of malcom and breaking bad (breaking bad is 1998 - 2008 I think and malom in the middle is 2003 - and on )

The craziest thing was I did not know Hal from Malcolm In The Middle and Walter from Breaking Bad were played by the same guy 0_0 Playing someone like Hal you should be a little skillful but to be a completely different character from Hal like Walter later.............I salute to you Bryan!

I love Bryon Cranston.. He has never disappointed in anything he does. And he is very versatile. The dentist from Seinfeld to the goofy dad in Malcolm in The Middle to Breaking Bad is exhilarating.
Aaron Paul is awesome too but in some parallel universe I would have loved to see Frankie Muniz take Aaron Paul's role. FM and BC have over 10 years experience with each other. He watched that kid grow up..

Who cares, but to answer your question, no. I don't think noticing something like that is gay unless you start wondering what they would look like naked or something like that. If you're straight and have no interest in men whatsoever, you need to be a lot more comfortable with your sexuality than you are being and then you wouldn't have to question if the things you are saying is gay.

That was the reason I started Watching BB but by the end of the first two episodes I no longer saw the Hal from Malcom in the middle I saw W.W. the man who'd become Heisenberg. The roles I have seen him in recently have furthered my respect for him too, because I didn't see Hal Or Walter, I saw the character he was playing. He has amazing talent, he truly plays his characters and he isn't just believable, he makes you feel as though he IS the character, which is awesome.
