As a Hmong, I am proud of this movie. To move from Miao/Meo (a denigrating term) to Hmong, many have died and suffered. Nowadays Hmong are still not fully accepted by many Thai; Hmong are viewed as backward, not educated, hilltribes, drug dealers, etc. Watching this movie should give food for thought. But sadly not many people go and see this historical movie. This tells us something about Thai society and its views on minority groups in Thailand.
Why don't Thai Movie Production make movie (s) of hmong and Thai soldier fighting vietnam war....also have some American in the movie as CIA...make this a big budget movie...Lots of people around the world would like something like to see that because that's something that is real.

Congrats..and there is another movie coming soon " Hidden Wrath" directed by Moua Lee and Kao Chang..Just can hardly wait to see that..
