ok guys thoughts on the game? things you like/things you don't? *Edit - I turned off v-sync, that somewhat helped with the lags a bit, if you experiencing same issues, try that I also noticed there is auto add echo's, while i would prefer recommendations, echo's are kind of confusing so it's better than nothing
The bad: -Right now basically a Genshin clone 1:1 with a overall similar narrative -Slightly buggy and minor performance issues -On release is smaller than Genshin, but on release Liyue sucked in Genshin, but it was big. -Only party of 3 vs party of 4 -You can't use elements to explore the terrain The good: -Main character is more aesthetically pleasing -puzzles are more fun -faster paced gameplay -better movement -fighting feels more alive -exploration is more fun -the grind feels more worth it -you actually have to pay attention to boss habits (atleast in the hologram battles which are like the end game EX bosses right now) -free 5 star selector right now *Will it kill Genshin?* Genshin fans are too dedicated to Genshin so it won't kill Genshin off immediately, or ever tbh. It's still too early for it to be considered a competitor for Genshin, the game as it is is way smaller. Overtime it possibly could, but I honestly feel like it's gonna turn into the McDonalds vs Burger King of Gacha games. *My personal thoughts* Going to start out with Genshin. Personally I only liked Genshin for like the first 2-3 weeks it was out and was mostly for the aesthetics rather than gameplay, but Genshin just got stale to me. That could probably happen to this game too, only time will tell. Right now, I actually love this game, it's just fun, actually makes me want to grind and when I'm all out of the resin clone I can still have fun just sweeping the whole map fighting mobs and opening chests and finding stuff I haven't found yet.
