Watch James Stewart on his new Suzuki RMZ450 rip during Red Bull X Fighters event held at Glen Helen raceway in California.
Just because you can't ride half his speed, doesn't mean he sped up his videos. Also, this channel is maintained by the official GoPro company, so I don't think James really got his hands on this footage before it went up.
Black and Yellow just fits so much better than the rest.
I'm just glad he's back on a factory ride
They need more videos like this from Factory guys...it's insane how fast they are. Check out the Chad Reed lap at Pala too.... insane speed.
Go Pro won't speed up the video. James IS the fastest man on a dirt bike. He'll dominate the outdoors as long as he feels comfortable on the bike and keeps it locked down..
I don't think it's sped up, I think people have just forgotten how damn fast this guy is. And if RV had a gopro (and wasn't injured obviously) we'd say the same thing.
I do have to say, through all the leaving JGR and joining Yoshi Suzuki, I am extremely happy he is still wearing a GoPro

thats not wat i meant, its him but he doesnt rev it like a squid, how it's sped up makes it sound like that. either way he's still ridiculously fast. respect.
now that i watch it again it looks like they fixed the speed of the video for the end, but the beginning section where he is riding by the grandstands is absolutely sped up
btw the ultra wideangle of the gopro always gives a very fast movement of things on the edges of the video.

i believe this vid is altered too...... not sped up, just had several crashes deleted.
Average lap times at glenn helen are right around 2:33. They didnt speed up the whole video but def. parts of it were sped up for sure. he just did a 1:51 lap time and yea i know the track has changed but not enought to cut that much time.

So have the mythbusters ever rode a 450 on the track WFO? It almost died out yet we got lucky with MC and RC bringing flare on ever improving bikes. Now we have Poto, Stewart, Reed, Dungey, Windham, Canard, Millsaps, Short, young guns Barcia, Wiemer, etc,.Loaded!! I just hope they all get healthy and stay healthy. Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange doing it on the dirt! I value me and my big bro's annual ride to ATL and Nola. Good times. Outdoors going to seperate the men from boys now. Love it!

cant believe some of you actually think that this video is entirely real speed. its clearly sped up in multiple parts. watch how far behind the sound gets from the video.
if you new anything about video editing you would understand. when u fast forward a video track the audio gets synced with it. the bike doesnt sound sped up at all.

Is it just me or is the audio a little off?
This was at the Red Bull X Fighters event this weekend and they had a special ride with James Stewart package which people could purchase. The jumps were pretty toned down because of this. If you've ever been to Glen Helen for a national or last years GP there are definitely some HUGE Fn jumps and the hills are much steeper than they look on video.
Fuckin unbelievably fast i dont have the balls to come into a corner with that kind of speed! No god damn way this has to be sped up

you know its a little to far fast forward when the sound is behind
at 1:08 it still sounds like theres power to the ground when hes in the air the timing is way off and it doesnt even sound like decel
this vid is NOT sped up,,,,people r forgetting that glen helen is a track based on high speeds....ther are little jumps and alot of straight aways

Yeah exactly. Outdoors is so frickin' fast and we have gotten used to watching the lower (yet still crazy fast) speeds on SX so outdoors looks unnatural. But I could very well be wrong!

i've race'd there many times. its not sped up. out of the 600+ videos GoProMX has, out of all those epic video's why would this one be "glitchy" do you really think they would post it if it was? and i've also seen many video's of bubba riding this fast... infact most of the videos i have see of him, he looks like this.
This is obviously sped up, when he comes out of the corners the audio doesn't even match up correctly, its way behind the video.
Of course its going to look like it has been sped up. We are used to going slow, does any of us actually know what its like to go this fast?

I like how the bike is a few steps infront of the sound, then like at 1:44 you can hear the sound catch up again. Com'on now.

you can hear him after the jumps when he is already on the ground it sounds like he's still in the air!!!

also at 1:10 hes on the limiter and theres no way the clutch is pulled in or he hit false neutral

no its not i was there. he was not going this fast. i ride there every thursday.
go watch his other gopros from other races. its not that gltichy and sound will be on point. it may not be sped up but he has a issue from when they downloaded it from the editing sofware to youtube ive has that same issues.

Your two statements are contradicting one another. Your first statement said that when racers rev their bikes they should be on the ground.
I then said that all pros rev in the air too.
Last, you stated your first comment in a different manner.
Therefore, I never said one word about whether or not the video was sped up.
Clearly most of you do not have a go pro otherwise you wouldn't say it was in fast forward. Depending on the picture refresh rate and the quality selected the go pro hero 3 has a hard time keeping up with the speed of a dirt scoot.
