A lot of contractors hitch a trailer for the first pass and then drop it off and a tractor will take over, some will reverse a trailer directly behind the chopper for the first pass. We do maize, whole crop and silage for 450 dairy cows. Love your videos tho.
Glad you found that you can attach a trailer to the krone. Love the blogs keep them going as I have just received my FS on console absolutely loving it.
We run a claas jaguar 850 it's new this season and it has the whole crop header to, since were a contracting company it's always handy if a customer wants it done. Our claas 970 had a whole crop header but we sold it for the newer one and that forger is for back up or if we need to do a vast amount quickly.
Hey Daggerwin in regards to taking a trailer off in field, you wouldn't normally but if you have to you chuck a fairly long piece of scaffold board under the stand, It spreads the load and helps stop it sinking.
At our farm we hire a krone and a driver but we mow, then row, and then use the krone with the other attachment in the game to pick up and chop the grass and obviously load it into the trailers
Farmers put the trailer back on the forager when going round the headland once because of not being able to get the tractor in but once one headland is of the tractor goes along the side like Normal so good video :)

Daggerwin you do know that the fliegl trailer has a tow bar on it so you can put 2 trailers on it. Plus they use the whole crop header here with a New Holland im about 3 mile from Stevenage hertfordshire
Reason Ppl use a header like that is because the cost is cheaper..imagine one machine that cuts and one machine that picks up that's a higher price, so instead you have ONE machine doing both work meaning its cheaper
By the way daggerwin in the game they make a header trailer for the krone header you used in today's episode. Just a thought to make transportation easier
Daggerwin I live and work on a beef cattle farm in the south east of England. I love seeing this kind of stuff because all we do is grass work and cows.

Kawasaki 610 Yes it's a mod. Not sure about getting it for FS13 but it's availble on the official Farming Simulator website for FS15
