Hey there Sebastian, we live north of you right now, in Gardiner. I saw your van at the market a few times this past summer...we live right across the street from it. We have a '83 yellow VW camper van and feel your pain and joy, ha ha. If you are up this way again stop by and take a break or a shower and a home cooked meal. We have tools too. Our son lived in the van one winter when he was doing ski patrol at Big Sky...I'm really grateful he made it through the whole ski season....he had some pretty iffy nights. He's now in New Zealand as a climbing ranger at Mt Cook. You learn so much from these adventures, right - they build your future. He will be up visiting in April: If you can get up stop by and connect with him. Take care young man and we will keep up with your adventures. Tah and Doug
@@tahmadsen6648 Tah and Doug! Hello! I saw your van there all the time, I spent a few months working at Yf. I’ll definitely stop by next time I’m in town! Gardiner is without a doubt one of the coolest little towns, especially in the winter when it’s quiet.
Another great video with an easy to watch feel . You are putting yourself out there telling it as it is ,good and bad ! Total respect !! Awesome area and loved the way you put the Jackson economy ! Safe travels Sebastian !
You need a diesel heater/ probably just a cheap Chinese knockoff if you don’t have one already. You are working and saving, working is half the battle but worth it.
Nice Video Man. I've lived full time in my Dodge Grand Caravan for nearly 10 years up here in Alberta/BC. I haven't really converted it, just stow and go the seats and warm 3inch camping pad, 3 sleeping bags inside each other. For heat I just trap the van floor heater warmth in the sleeping bags when I'm driving, it's like an electric blanket when I get in. Auto start does help me out of bed. I've spent cold cold winters like that. Sounds impossible to some, but you can always find a way, I work outside so with proper clothing it can be done
It's hard enough to get up on cold mornings living in a house. Great job getting up and to work every day. I've worked 4-10s 20 of the last 30 years. I like having 3 day weekends.
Sebastian really good video especially doing it in a single day with work. Your a sharp looking guy and everything else is also attractive. Great work with a great sprite look forward to the next episode.
Great video. I'm south of you in Green River, WY...at least for now (and it's 3:00 a.m.🤣. That's what you do when you get old!) I was in Jackson about 4 weeks ago. Lots of fun. Keep it real and keep 'em coming. Thanks for sharing.
Did you ever get the water? Not 12 … I love the fact that you are awesome and no stress! I love your videos and I am trying to live that lifestyle. It’s hard looking at vans and campers now.. something small.
Nope not yet, I will today though! Woo looking at vans?! Smaller the better, if you can bare it. Living in a big van would be nice but that’s a lot to lug around
Nice update! Are you interested in reviewing our 6-in-1 drinking water tester? It can test bacteria, virus, microplastic, heavy metal, and weed killer, etc! We're sure that you'll love it.
With the current prices of rent. This is much better than being a slave to landowners. Always remember that you are working to improve your life and not to make landowners rich
Loving your videos. My brother lives on the other side of the pass and we've been coming out for a week or two in the summer to visit the last couple years. Cowboy Coffee?
I just bought a liteAce last Friday, I want to built a mini camper with it , I have few questions How Depp is your counter , my bed will be in 3 sections, 25” x 75” ,I’m 6’2” How did you put a swivel passenger seat , Thanks
The closest one is 1 and a half hours away. But the visitors center in the national park has a spigot I’m going to check today! It’s warming up a little more so hopefully it’s on
Hey Sebastian! Just found your channel and started binge watching all your videos! Awesome van and I am loving the scenery over there. I have a 2025 Subaru Forester that I weekend camp in and eventually would love to go full van/car/SUV life. I subscribed (also followed on insta) and exited to see more!
Welcome to the channel! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. Those new foresters are nice! I had an outback and there was plenty of room in the back and I spent many nights camping out with it

Try a car wash. The kind where you use the pressure washing wand. I think those have heated water so it doesn't freeze.
Where do you park safely?
Awesome vanlife adventures Sebastian! The coffee spill made a little happy face :)
Thanks for watching! I try to keep it real and it seems like the coffee spilled in a perfect happy way haha
Love the video- subbed.

Thank you so much! It took a lot of planning for one day!
Awesome content. Safe travels man.
great video bro, love from india. use a gimbal for out of window shots, it helps. ❤
I’ll be upgrading my film equipment sometime next year!🤘 I can’t wait
4 -10s are the best😊 enough time to live and get things done on days off
You should carry your own hose, and if the spicket is frozen get torch and heat it up. It will thaw it out.
You’re doing great with your videos.
Yes Celsius is great for us non US people.
My next van I will have a nice easy access burner that’s a nice setup
You’re a good kid…wish you all the best 😊
If you need hose water in winter . If you know of any animal farms . You can see if they would let you fill up . They have to keep water available.
Yes! Well water is the best and they are always on. I should reach out to some and see if they’d be willing to let me steal some
Excelente video.
Obrigada
Thanks for the celsius notes, mate, love your vlogs and your T3, safe travels

Great job 👍👍👍👍
Thank you!! It’s hard work but worth it!
A 3am wake up for a 10 hour shift. I guess if you think of the money you will earn it makes it easier.
Hello from Pittsburgh 🙋♂️
Looking good
I just found your channel….subscribed.👍😎

I feel bad for you considering you work for Unifi/DGS. Might as well go work for Skywest in JAC, since you might get both DL and UA.
It’s the only full time ramp job here. Everyone els makes you clock out after working the flight
Powering through the month!
edit Idea for a video could be going through your electrical, propane setup etc
I’ll definitely be covering that sometime this month. My electrical isn’t pretty but it works!

Exactly! Why pay someone else’s mortgage!

What MPH would you normally cruise at on the freeway?
60 everywhere since I’m usually at 2,800rpm ish at 60mph and I get the best fuel mileage around 28mpg
Burrrrrrrrr........ito, for only $12.99 lol. Any Walmarts close by, they have water stations?
The closest one is 1 and a half hours away. But the visitors center in the national park has a spigot I’m going to check today! It’s warming up a little more so hopefully it’s on
Do the vw vans break down alot? 🤔
