Looks like a GOOD cheap set! I like the blue color on the Germans,usually Germans are done in some shade of gray,although Atlantic (Italian company) did them in blue too. Also I've seen green Germans and of course tan for Afrika Corps. And btw you don't necessarily have to use them as Wermacht,because the uniform was almost identical for ALL branches. There was only a color difference,for example,between the Wermacht and Luftwaffe (the former had gray helmets and dark green uniforms,but the Luftwaffe had air force-blue uniforms and helmets (these Luftwaffe guys are the ones you see on Hogan's Heroes tv show). The guy with the soft cap and ROUND grenade could be an older Hitler Youth member throwing a concrete grenade. These were made late in the war when things were getting desperate and the Germans started running out of raw materials so they had to use whatever was available. Some of those kids fought pretty well; one 13-year old girl held up a whole bunch of G.I.'s until they finally destroyed her with a bazooka blast (they didn't know it was a child at the time). I've also read of other Hitler Youth girls destroying tanks with a Panzerfaust weapon.

Truly nice details on these but many silly poses which is a waste. Many of them are obviously inspired by Airfix, Matchbox and Italeri etc but not copies. They are original molds but perhaps not original ideas..

The Germans I thought were Italians at first with the M33 helmets they got. I have these sets too and really like them got items in the collection.
