flies are not a summon. Plants and clone are.

I think the most underrated and useful skill that you don't even have to level (unless you count the associated talents) is perfect guarding. It takes a bit of practice to get gud, but adding free crits to normal attacks and automatic silver charge to followup damage abilities is MEGASAUCE! When I was grinding in the seasons temple I was absolutely massacring those little wizards since they die in one shot when you reflect their projectiles (sometimes you get lucky and kill two if they are close to each other). Even if you suck at the timing it can be useful to rapidly tap shield if you are surrounded by aggressive enemies since you are likely going to perfect block at least one of the many attacks coming your way. Pair that with a special effect like the Winter Shield and you get free CC for no Energy cost which is great against swarms and single targets alike!
P.S. I'm not sure if the free crit after perfect block applies to your Shadow Clones, but I almost always once shot everything after blocking with my Clones and Static Charge up. Vedy naisu indeed!

@@MeerkatPlaysIndieIt would be nice if they added some kind of training room where you could spawn in any combination of enemies you've already fought to practice the block timing. In any case I learn them by just holding out my shield and paying attention when certain attacks actually make contact, especially for strong/annoying moves like boars charging or those flowers hitting you as they come up from underground. It's super satisfying to see them freeze in place confused wtf just happened while you help them find out, and the more you practice the more fun it gets!
@@oakenmethod ikr!! A training room would be a great addition! For now I use the Boss Battles for practice
@@oakenmethod you can build dojo in arcade mode, which gives you an access to the perfect guard challenges(basically it spawns various enemies and you need to perfect guard all of their attacks, if you mistime - you restart)

I also like the plant summon.
Just put down a pea shooter and focus on defence while your summons do the attacks.

Magic attack potion crit potion if possible, Meditation first, Magic attack support buff 2nd,Flies maxed 3rd, Reaper 4th, and flame ball Maxed 5th < this combo melts bosses hp
edit: forgot to say that you need like 130 EP to do this combo 1 time and i would recommend that u get more if you want but focus on magic attack to maximize the damage of this combo.
I think it was worth the 30 years iv been waiting for this game to come out 🤣

In all builds I will always never forget adding Teleport.
I can't do bosses with many bullet hells and fast attacks without teleport.
I mean I could but it would be extra effort.
Blink is indeed very handy!
So much effort work went into this, great job! The insects were very silly when I would miss the enemy as well :0, and okay maybe I agree that barrier is a must have skill uwu

The best build in the game is phys/mag hybrid. For the skills Shadow Clone Static Charge and both summons. Its Endgame tho since u need the cards for the max ep and mushroom slippers

@@MeerkatPlaysIndie Arcade mode and story mode are different for builds cause arcade has some exclusive stuff.
The main reason for hybrids being the strongest is scaling.
While everyplay style is viable (the reason i like the game so much) there is definitly a favourite for the deverlopers. Hybrid is encouraged to be played by nearly everything.
First of all here are the four build defining skills:
1. shadowclone for onehand
2. Beserk for Twohand
3. Static Charge for hybrid
4. Flys for mages
Beserk has the problem with being antisynerigistic with the best facemask in the game (cursed blindfold) which outclassed everything else in this slot by far. And the stats from beserk are easy to get from other ways.
Flys can only target one enemy at a time which is pretty bad for farming endgame and imagine missing those.
Shadowclone is with the mysterious cube broken which is avaible pretty soon in the game.
Static Charge is a must for hybrids anyways and scales of pretty good and the stun is nice to have.
The summons are a must have for solo players or else the enemies are glued to your butt.
Most of the time you are running from the boss anyways so the passive dmg is neat. There is always a smal window for attacking in which you to deal as much dmg as u can. The combination Static clone static charge allows you do to that.
For farming is hybrid with the slime staff the best. The points from shadow clone could be used elsewhere.
The best pet stat is by far atkspd/chargespd. Its the best way to get it and also the one way where u wont miss out on anything else more viable.
All other stats can be you for the passive skills. Most of are very massive. Especially the 25% percent magic attack to normal attack conversion.
Its also a very easy to playstyle cause most skills are difficult to use and if u have to much skills u dont have the sta to use all of them anyways.

Why static touch best match with shadow clone? static touch is Magic skill, if build pure physical dmg, no benefit from using static touch?
hi, static touch buffs physical attack, but also considers magic stats. It gives a high boost on PDPS. It's best for hybrid build tho
