I love how you brought up the fact about posture and being comfortable in worship- to bow, to kneel, etc. I never heard anyone present the topic of modesty in this way. Thanks for the enlightenment, Pastor Sharo!

As believers in Jesus we should care about what God thinks not what others think.
I love this podcast, we make mistakes in the past but as we grow older on God then we should clearly understand how to portray ourselves as a reflection of Christ. People will get mad at us for talking of the topic of modest but we continue pressing hard❤

I do believe that consideration should be taken in how we present ourselves in the world as followers of Christ, how you dress on the outside is a reflection of your heart what's going on inwardly, as women if God we should not dress in ways that would cause a man to look upon us and lust, in all we do we should desire to honor God and for him to be seen in every aspect of our lives, asking the Holy spirit to direct us is a great place to start...Great teaching
What happens is that people make the outside more important than the inside. I know of people that looking at their dress you would identify them as Christian but they were unloving, unforgiving and hateful. So the outward appearance was not a reflection of the inward man.

Yes the Bible says come out from the world, if we’re acting,dressing, and talking like the world then we aren’t changed. You should be able the world should be able to see that there is a difference in you by the way you are looking and dressing and talking and walking, and when I say walking walking in the beauty of holiness. When you are changed in the heart, it’s gonna show on the outside. You clean up the heart first and then the outside will get cleaned.
I grew up in a church, where the rule for ladies was: a high neckline & a low hemline. That means absolutely no cleavage and nothing above your knees!
Also No pants and definitely no tights unless it’s under a dress or skirt
