Bernardo is so kind. He is already being the wise old man archetype by giving this young man a big name to start his interview career. Dom did a great job hosting and asked very good questions. Best of luck to you Dom.
I’ve just started to listen and first time to hear either of them. Yes what a kind sweet young man, I agree a perfect interviewer for this subject matter. Just the way nature likes it.
Great interview. Why? Because you asked thoughtful questions and got out of his way. Too many interviewers mistakenly think THEY'RE the reason we listen.
It's not necessarily, that we are nature. It's, we can be nature - if we allow ourselves, as to actually be immersing ourselves, within nature, as truly experiencing - the real natural world, in all its innumerable grandeur's. Literally like a child ! Which in today's day & age, not many people are fortunate enough to be exposed to such experiences - of nature, within our more so electronic & mechanistic - ready made - factitious world. 😮
It is so exciting to see a 24 year old taking the map out of the territory. Excellent video of bringing out the innocence/purity teaching of Bernardo Kastrup. Thank You!
Same. As a very deep thinker, for whom reality seems problematic, I cannot begin to tell you how helpful this mindset has been for me. Life is so fun now. I can so easily escape my ego now.
Oh the humanity. I think hearing Bernardo talk about his father, and him taking the reins as the lonely, wise old man, is my favorite discussion by him yet. And I've heard hundreds of hours of BK.
I'm so deeply impressed by Bernardo Kastrups Philophy. The other day I heard of Nobel Laureate Anton Zeilinger who was in search of Philosophers being able to elaborate on his quantum physicist's findings. Bernardo, perhaps you could team up with him, especially if you could communicate only to a degree in German the way you can explain things in English. Thanks a very big lot 🙂!
Bernardo, you are a great soul to have behind the curtain. I've torn the curtain top to bottom, and it is a lonely place. One gets to the place where few can understand because they don't see what you see. Totally agree, it is a lonely place. The only solace is that you play your role, knowing it is not a about you, but a greater role that you are not in charge of. Peace, brother.
It is comforting that such a young man (24 years) could have such an interest in unravelling what most adults would scoff at. If only a few more would take interest!!!
A very thoughtful interlude and one where we, observers, are given the space to follow Bernardo along, thoughtfully and on the way, reflect on his, meaningful thoughts as they mirror themselves in our own lives. And therein I think is partly a key to his hesitancy about the other two podcasters, which is, their persona’s are large and unlike you Dom, given what they do which many of us have seen, the chances of them allowing that little space for Bernardo to honestly explore his thoughts and understandings, out loud, might and I say, might not be feasible. Whereas, your own humility matched his and that is the space wherein one can make one’s’ way to the truth. A space to actually hear what he is saying. A lovely, lovely conversation, to be treasured. Keep doing it your way Dom. Keep the humility. Keep allowing the space instead of trying to fill it as many others do. Best wishes from Dublin.
Far beyond the beautiful and kind message and encouragement to 'young Dom' which it certainly also is - I see it as the astute appraisal of why Bernardo would be hesitant to go see the 'big guys': There's a fair chance this interviews would turn out less substantial, more shallow. .... Right now I feel very fortunate to have come across Mijnher Kastrup at this point in outside time, and in my inner development. His position and frames of reference are like the unknown, unlikely shaped strategic party in my own fun little jig saw puzzle of "his does it all work?"... my father died when I was 8 - I very much relate to that having been the curve ball that gave my life its spin towards pursuing the reconciliation of the 'material' & immaterial.
During each interview with Bernardo I think, "This one is the most meaningful'. And once again, 'this one is exactly what I needed to hear in this moment--either for validation of my life or process or encouragement to keep on trucking -- in joy, peace, by just allowing life to live through me. Thank you both so much!
Dom, you radiate a genuine interest in exploring the deeper horizons and potentials of human existence and you show a sincere attitude and aptitude to listen and to discuss with an open mind. This coupled with Bernardo’s illuminating wisdom makes the interview very inspiring and enriching for many: young and old. Keep up the good work! Best wishes for your future and for your mission. Much appreciation and much love for both of you. 🙏
I agree with the commenters above - a really beautiful interview. I’ve watched quite a few interviews with Bernardo the last few years. Maybe it’s a little bit of timing and content, but a big part of it is the humility and curiosity of both interviewer and interviewee here. There is a flow based on listening and mutuality. It’s a very human encounter we get to watch. And some of my favorite topics, too. ❤
Bernardo's interview is very insightful and well-articulated. He stands out among many gurus and "enlightened individuals" by his clear and unyielding focus on truth, devoid of ego, bias, and wishful thinking.
So grateful for the gifts Bernardo leaves behind that curtain. Beautiful, insightful conversation. Great questions from one so young. I see why the wise old man allowed such intimacy. Thank you to both of you!
Young Dom, bless your life and purpose, bless your intellect and the very obvious sensitivity you have to the importance of cognition and understanding of life - a system way more powerful than our influence. Wonderfull Bernardo. Afer this I feel less alone in the world ... but I hope that the "old wise man/women" feeling will be temporary ... because I miss the years lived with "enthusiasm" when life had a purpose and joy was a everyday experience...
I wish I could give this video a million infinite thumbs up. The perspective you share from your own consciousness journey feels true to me in the atoms that make up the cells in my bones. It aligns with the truth I have been actively seeking and accruing for my entire life. Thank you for taking your time to share these insights with us and add to our collective consciousness evolution.
The interviewer did such a fantastic job of allowing Bernardo to expand his real belief. I have heard many talks by him and respect and appreciate him very much However, hearing this revealing interview brings me to great sadness for him. This is one of my most favorite interviews. You are being so authentic makes it so powerful. You have touched so many people’s heart by who you are. Your message is loud and clear. It has changed my life by listening to you and your point of view. I relate to these conversation so much not only by researching and reading but also my own experiences in life. Im so grateful to you and the young man who interviewed you! ❤
Can relate! The most enjoyable things I do (philosophy, movies, reading or nothing at all) have no clear why's... And to working 3 hours per day. Great episode!
Very nice conversation. Thank you both. Thanks to a 24 old leading the conversation in such an adult way. Thanks for Bernardo to show this other more personal side. I can assure him it is very fruitful. Funny you don't like the hole medium thing or scene. Since this is very much the real deal, without the show around it. Nature works through you for certain. Maybe not for the full 100%, but still: very much. I pray you can stay and go further on that track.
As an older person, it is wonderful to see a young person with intelligence combined with a desire to know. You know your stuff. I love Dr Kastrup even though I have a hard time understanding everything he is saying. I get his audio books so I can listen as many times as I need. Great interview! Thank you!!!
Great job Dom!! Bernardo is amazing at getting his idealistic view point out to the pubic in a way that is easier to understand through his use of metaphors as is Rupert Spira, Don Hoffman. They are IMO crucial in bringing this 3500 year old message to the forefront. Not to be lost in all their praise it is just as important for young people like you Dom to host these type of podcasts. I tip my hat to you.. Keep up the excellent work Dom and don't get discouraged.. This is not an easy message to get accross to the masses of our materialistic world. Cheers and best of luck! Great interview.
Absolutely charmed by your thoughtfulness and intellectual suffering in this world, Bernardo. It rings true to a deep authenticity and urgency. I often think of Herman Hesse and Rilke. They must have sensed what was coming--it is obvious that they indeed did; but they didn't flee to another country or hide in the mountains. They set forth. They found their beauty. They fought darkness. All in silence. All with reverence.
I would really like to have Bernardo being interview by Lex. Dom did a great job here and I always enjoy Bernardo's command of the English Language and point of view.
Dom, this is an excellent BK interview. You explore the deeper parts of Bernardo that are generally not explored. Thank you for not diving too deeply into issues on which he's been interviewed so many times previously. Thank you for this, Dom.
Silence... Silence is a gateway to open your channels to Silence your mind chatter....then true wisdom can flow in. That's why many begin with meditation to Silence the mental continual chatter. Gaps of silence...more gaps....more gaps. Being with nature, to hear your footsteps, with water...with trees. Try to stay in your heart mind....it will talk to you in Silence. Be at peace....💕❣💕
There is a hint - from Raj Yoga (meditation) : There is a state - where even the Silence - is silent. (Ram Chandra) I am burning, in interest. (Fare thee well)
I appreciate this. I believe this impulse Kastrup is referring to is your ordained path. It can be called your "nature" as it is personal to your inner being, but I believe it to be the force of life itself manifesting in you like the stem of a flower pushing outward into the air. It is exhilarating. It is your connection with god. While it may feel impersonal, I don't believe it is cruel. Surrender is not cruel, it opens you to the possibility of love which the ego can never fulfil.
@16.00, learning about this at 3/4am because you gotta get to work at 7 - that‘s me right now lol 🙆🏻♀️😅 Also, really love how you let Bernardo fully speak and finish and your calming genuine smile inbetween; great interview!
to follow one’s diamond,…not taking personal …brilliant, so right on, have listened to, and loved many of Bernardo’s interviews, this is powerful:) at once nature expressing itself through us, permeating all existence…. we are important, and as a so called limited consciousness we are ‘nothing …’
Dr. Kastrup, you are an effective communicator and teacher as well as a vital and profound inspiration for young (and old) minds. Thank you for your stamina and courage sir.
1:25:34 Thank you for your most interesting talks, Bernardo. That you are discovering that the archetypes are ‘within’ as well as ‘outside’ momentous, for essentially there is no real distinction between the two. And I suspect you will lose the illusion that you are alone, for although we *feel* separate and ‘alone’ we are not separate and/or alone. Hating watching yourself hopefully will disappear too as your self is integrated. The ego get embarrassed. Also, I wonder if ‘channeling’ is rejected by you because you are alienated from part of yourself. Words can mislead as well as enlighten. Consciousness communicates in many ways.
Dom you are a precious being and Bernardo is too. We have to listen to our inner voice and to our body. This is very important. When I see pure souls like you both I want to protect you energetically. The human species out there is very dangerous so please be very careful where you go. Never go anywhere alone.
I value Bernardo's work a great deal. His way of searching for truth and meaning is courageous and inpriring as I agree in his observation we may never really know or arrive. But keeping an open mind is really crucial. Thx much for sharing. ❤
This is a very valuable interview, and thank you, Dom, for giving him the space in which to think and articulate what he wants to say, for he has so much worth saying - that needs to be said. You have a real gift for this, and your genuineness shows. I read Bernardo Kastrup's book on Jung but it is only when I watched and listened to him on TH-cam that I realised what a brilliant, inspired, totally human man he is. Thank you for this interview. I need it so much at this time, to help me understand myself and trust in the wisdom of Nature, which our human minds simply cannot comprehend.
Wow Bernardo! You fear old age! But believe me, even when you're young you don't find reassurance in others, because the most important lesson for each of us is to understand that, from a certain point of view, we are always alone in the face of life's great trials! It is obvious that the young Dom, at his 24 years old, seems to have a hard time understanding all of Bernardo's final philosophy, but that's how all young people are, that's how we were once too! :) I really enjoyed this touching video! Thank you Dom, for the wise questions.
All the mental chatter is the noise of our mind's work on tasks, which we have imposed on it with our pans, desires and fears. And if you have enough mental focus, you can trace every thought back to its origins. An automated thought is a conviction, and is experienced as a mood.
Dom, two of my three favorite people on this planet are Bernardo and Lex, and yes, I will enjoy that podcast when it happens; when the energy for the event is right it will happen. 'Till then, I thank you for this fantastic interview; job well done!!
RI was randomly listening to stuff . Not even watching. Approaching the end wanted to add a comment. Just saw the guy. Resonated with me deeply. Thank you 🙏
What a wise and enlightened man ... The practical explanation of forces at work and the nuance and subtlety of mind required to be aware of these forces is deeply helpful and letting go of the responsibility for the outcomes is enlightenment . Thank you Bernardo ❤
Bernardo, you are being guided obviously by forces beyond you. Jung is a savior. he saved me with his small book, answer Answer to Job. Maybe you are not supposed to give your knowledge out to just anyone. So many are unevolved, you don't need the pushback!
The best Bernardo's interview I have ever watched!! Good questions Dom! Regarding the wise man archetype, part of me was thinking that Bernardo was a bit arrogant here, but to be honest, I feel the same. All my social circle ask me for advice and support but, for me, it makes no sense to seek support in them; they simple don't understand my struggles and their advice is always nonsense or common place. I always think to myself "why should I listen to this person when I have my own criteria and I can also read about Buddhism, the stoics or other good philosophy ". It feels really lonely.
Isn't also freeing? In the sense that you don't need advice, support from anyone else so it's up to you? Doesn't that just imply that there is freedom from external authority even?
@@DomSniezka Yes, it is also freeing! Maybe I was feeling the sadness of realizing that there is not going to be anyone there when I need that support. As Bernardo say, maybe is the child inside screaming, not wanting to accept that :)
@@DomSniezka Oh yes. May be not exactly on specific words but in principle yes. On the other hand, I think most "spiritual" philosophers more or less agree and point to the same direction but they are fond of articulating things in fancy terms and debate just for the fun of it or maybe it is just me that I perceive it this way because if you "get the message" in principle and start embodying it, you can recognize it even in the phone book. After all nobody can really prove or be certain on all these nuances the talk about and try to convey than speculating intellectually. It is just how "it sits" on you and get what the pointers point to.
@@thkioups2382 You make a good point, suggesting that they all point to the same direction, yet use different words that are fancy, cultural, philosophical etc... I often wonder what the source of all this Spiritual knowledge is the in the first place. For example, Alan Watts was familiar with various spiritual and religious traditions and then spoke about it in his particular way. Same with Bernardo. Same with Buddha, as he was familiar with Hinduisim. Same with Jesus, as he was familiar with Judaism. and so on. I think it's interesting to inquire into this, because perhaps there is no authority on these matters at all, and it all just comes down to our understanding? And perhaps more importantly living as human beings on this planet alongside other animals, plants, bacteria etc.. How do you feel about that?
@@DomSniezka Yes I agree. There is no authority on these matters. But you cannot cause deliberately the understanding and live accordingly. It just dawns on you and is expressed automatically. Just like Bernardo (and others) says you are the medium through life is expressed. You only have a personal life superficially.
@@thkioups2382 It makes me wonder, what urges one to do what they do? It seems to me that, just like there are unique functions if we observe nature. There are unique functions within Humans. Of course, there is no distinction between the two, but for the purposes of this example, I'll make this distinction. A bee does what a bee does. An oak tree is perfect as oak tree is designed to be. A chicken will never be an eagle, and so on.... Now, if we look at humans, could it be that some of us just can't help but do certain things, explore certain questions, be curious about that something that we just can't seem to shake off. I find that fascinating for example! Beyonce is just born to sing. A cook somewhere jus adores cooking. A philosopher just adores contemplating Reality or a specific part of Reality. A farmer just adores the act of growing something etc... Wow! I think that's so cool!
This might be my favorite interview I have seen of this man. The whole ethos of the interview itself was making real what Bernardo was talking about. I hope these few words in a small way encourage you to continue your path in whatever direction Nature nudges you along the way.
I can see why he was attracted to Jung's work and how Jung could be perceived as the "wise old man." On the other hand, despite his brilliance, Bernado seems to be conflicted with certain aspects of himself. I wish him a profound sense of peace as he ages.

Thank you Tommy!
@@DomSniezka
Your welcome Dom... Keep up the great work!
Donald and Bernardo are great. Rupert has a kind soul, but he is not as intelligent, eloquent or coherent as these two.
This interview should go viral. I’ll do my best! 🙏
I felt like as if I am doing the interview myself , love so much how Dom host this interview!
I would really like to have Bernardo being interview by Lex. Dom did a great job here and I always enjoy Bernardo's command of the English Language and point of view.
Love the consideration of the amoeba in the toilet bowl. 😍
So true what many have said about how fantastic, warm and honest this conversation is.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Dom, this is an excellent BK interview. You explore the deeper parts of Bernardo that are generally not explored. Thank you for not diving too deeply into issues on which he's been interviewed so many times previously. Thank you for this, Dom.
And thank you, Bernardo! You repeatedly put words to thoughts and emotions that I cannot articulate.

I am burning, in interest.
@16.00, learning about this at 3/4am because you gotta get to work at 7 - that‘s me right now lol 🙆🏻♀️😅 Also, really love how you let Bernardo fully speak and finish and your calming genuine smile inbetween; great interview!
to follow one’s diamond,…not taking personal …brilliant, so right on,
have listened to, and loved many of Bernardo’s interviews, this is powerful:)
at once nature expressing itself through us, permeating all existence….
we are important, and as a so called limited consciousness we are ‘nothing …’
Dr. Kastrup, you are an effective communicator and teacher as well as a vital and profound inspiration for young (and old) minds.
Thank you for your stamina and courage sir.

Thank you for your most interesting talks, Bernardo.
Excellent interview. Thoughtful, genuine, earnest and sincere questions. Well done, Dom. Keep it up. Look forward to more.
"Negotiated peace." Understood. ❤️🖖
Dom you are a precious being and Bernardo is too. We have to listen to our inner voice and to our body. This is very important. When I see pure souls like you both I want to protect you energetically. The human species out there is very dangerous so please be very careful where you go. Never go anywhere alone.
Stimulating conversation : thank you both
I value Bernardo's work a great deal.
I'm glad you found it helpful! Thank you!
We are already everybody… know thy self❤
Thank you, bright two!
Can the mind stop chattering?
I got on the path of true Self by meditating and journaling on the question "who was I before I was taught who to be?"
Dom, two of my three favorite people on this planet are Bernardo and Lex, and yes, I will enjoy that podcast when it happens; when the energy for the event is right it will happen. 'Till then, I thank you for this fantastic interview; job well done!!
Yes, I would love to see him on Lex too! It'll have to happen eventually. Thank you!
The greatest minds are you and me. Don't worry about the collective ego. Relax, be kind and watch the show. Love one another.
Obrigada! Thank you from Brasil!
Maturity and self inquiry, along with staying vigilant of your thoughts. Asking questions like "who is the one thinking/feeling this? "
RI was randomly listening to stuff . Not even watching. Approaching the end wanted to add a comment. Just saw the guy. Resonated with me deeply. Thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a wise and enlightened man ... The practical explanation of forces at work and the nuance and subtlety of mind required to be aware of these forces is deeply helpful and letting go of the responsibility for the outcomes is enlightenment . Thank you Bernardo ❤
Thank you very much both of you.I'm addicted to Bernardo Kastrup^^
Thank you!
“….compelled to go in a certain direction without knowing why.”
Wow! I’m literally answering internally before he says what I was sensing. Very aligned conversation. Thank you so much fellas✊🏽❤️
More Bernardo.... more... we want more from you dude! (Thanks for the vid)
More to come!
The interviewer is great too.... I was so meant to watching this
Great soul! So honest and a deep thinker!
Two beautiful human beings. Dom I so wish you all the best with your podcast and I love your Irish? accent. 🙏🙏 Bernardo and Dom.
Bernardo at one of his best heartly humane conversations!!!
Excellent!!!!
Alan Watts in a more sofisticated way.
I'm in love with both.
Would Alan Watts and Bernardo agree?
Wonderful interview- Congratulations Dom- Very well done 👍🙏😀
This interview is sensational appreciate you both
Absolutely amazing!
Thank you Bernardo! Great insights 🫶
Wow I'm gonna listen to this all again
Amazing interview. Happy to see Bernardo in a very good place.
This might be my favorite interview I have seen of this man. The whole ethos of the interview itself was making real what Bernardo was talking about. I hope these few words in a small way encourage you to continue your path in whatever direction Nature nudges you along the way.
Thank you for your kind words!
This was an excellent interview.
I can definitely relate!
Thanks Brother 🙏❤️
This was an excellent guest. More like this please.
I can see why he was attracted to Jung's work and how Jung could be perceived as the "wise old man." On the other hand, despite his brilliance, Bernado seems to be conflicted with certain aspects of himself. I wish him a profound sense of peace as he ages.

great work Dom, you are asking the kinds of questions I have wondered regarding Bernardo that I haven't heard elsewhere. Bravo!!
