Retired Polish Air Force pilot here. My son started watching your channel, now I do. Go for the experience with the Blue Angels. It will be worth every second of it.
@@simpledj509chromo7Thank you. As a matter of fact after serving 25 years in Polish Air Force I moved to the US and since couple of years I am a US citizen, unfortunately without any benefits of a veteran, but at least my life adventure continues in a new place now. I just realized, it is still me, but from my other account.
Retired Army here...and watched my son retire from Fort Riley last week. Thank your brother for his service from me, and YES! Take the flight! That's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for 99.999% of the human race. Eat a light breakfast and enjoy! AATW/RLTW
I agree with above! This is a “Bucket List” opportunity!! No matter what “we” say you should absolutely go flying. As for the Turtle, yes I believe you have an Alligator Sapper. I worked at a camp below Opp Alabama for several summers 40+ years ago. We would walk around the ponds edge at night and see the turtle fishing with their mouth open and their “lure” just a flickering. Sometimes the big fish just can’t resist that lure and the turtle will get them. Just watch out where you put your feet and hands in the water, they can blend into the background very well!!! Ron
Agreed, definitely take the once in a life time chance to fly with the Blue Angeles. I see them every year here in Washington state. And yes, that is an alligator snapping turtle.
Absolutely need to take the opportunity, as an Air Force pilot I wish every single person could have the opportunity to feel what those Gs feel like, there's just nothing that compares and I wish more ppl could just have the experience because it sucks to talk to your closest friends and family and there's just no way for someone to understand without experiencing it. Absolutely go for it
There's a HUGE bass in my backyard lake at my new home. Easy 10 pounder and has some scars from the gator in the lake. I tried so many ways to catch him but he outsmarts me every time. I named him BRUNO. Please name one of your bass Bruno in honor of that Punk Tank Bass In my lake
Thank you for your military shout out! Def take a ride in the F-18. Had a ride in an F-16 a few years ago and it was truly a once in a life time experience you will never forget!
My grandfather was an aircraft mechanic for the RAF during world war 2. He was based at Singapore originally before they evacuated and relocated to Darwin. Where he promptly fell in love with Australia, went home after the war and told my nan and my dad that they were moving to Australia :D
Those wide shots at the beginning around a dense city were Toronto, Ontario, Canada! They come up hear for the Toronto Airshow, and are always a delight. Except for when I'm trying to sleep in and all I can hear are sonic booms (I live on the waterfront where that footage was filmed).
Thanks to the Blue Angels who have some new names for your fish. The aircraft have numbers so you could even name some after the tail numbers. Love your channel
Happy to see the blue angels and bass spawn! They do sometimes go above Mach 1 (~750mph) but it depends on if they’re allowed to or not. I feel you could unironically open up a trout hatchery at this point lol. I would at least try to catch and cook one of them :)
you should totally fly with the the Blue Angels! That is a once in a lifetime opportunity that shouldn't be passed up! I truly love watching their maneuvers on TH-cam and TikTok.
Yeah good one! Now I am picturing a bass having an existential crisis like jim carry's character at the end when he figures out he is trapped in a giant fish bowl. 😂
I love your commentary. You have the best pond build channel hands down. I remember when you built the aquarium. To see you start from a glass tank to a backyard pond to this; has been an amazing journey to follow. Thank you so much! I can’t wait for your next video.
Hey bamabass this is a common snapping turtle chelydra serpentina definitely a really cool Turtle to have in a pond. It’s not an alligator snapper alligator snapper has spikes on their back commons have smooth shells
What an opportunity. Take it! Many, many people never have that kind of luck. Fly! Don't want to see you get sick. Remember, if they can do it, so can you.
I'm glad someone else (other than me) knew the correct type of snapping turtle that was. Too many automatically think every snapping turtle is an "alligator snapping turtle". The common snapping turtles are much more aggressive and mean.
@@cuivre2004 Fellas used to catch them from our lake in DE ( they made snapper soup ) They drug them up on the shore & a big one literally bit a 2x4 in half like it was straw they have a powerful bite
BamaBass you have to go on that flight with the Blue Angels. That's always been a dream of mine. I think you should name the bass minnow Tiny. You know it's going to grow up to be an absolute GIANT with your care, so the irony would be funny in the future.
You are right, that is a alligator snapper, or may be soft bill for I has seen many of them of the years of my life on the Chesapeake Bay of an 6 ackers Bay filled pond off the Chesapeake. But they are more than likely a soft shell and not the other.
The word fry reminds me of the show Futurama which has a character with the same name. Fry's best friend is a robot named Bender. So I nominate the name Bender. Also, as a Marine Corps veteran who worked on legacy F/A-18 Hornets and never got a ride, I am always aggravated when "influencers" or so called "Reporters" get to fly with the Blue Angels. But that's just from petty jealousy and I am more happy for them than anything. I HOPE YOU TAKE THEM UP ON THE OFFER! Thanks for sharing...
Yes yes....fly with those Angels. Its a trip that will change u in a great way. You will never forget it. BTW ive watched every video since you were building your pond. Great videos! Thanks so much
@BamaBass I know how to make your Pond look as clear as a swimming pool!! You don't seem to have any cleaner shrimp in the pond, so If you stock your pond with Micro-Fauna like Daphnia and Moina Micropopa, they'll go after all of that phyto plankton floating around that's making it look green. I hope this helps! With a very generous stocking of these that whole pond will be crystal clear.
I think you should experiment and release something like a Texas Chiclid into the pond. It would be interesting to see if it could survive year round. Peacock bass would be cool, but you would defientyl need to remove it before winter.
Hi, Bama Bass. When you catch a fish that is tagged you should try and pull up old video footage and show a comparison from then until now. It looks like you don't have enough to do during the day. 😂

Name the bass fry "Truman" after the movie, since it's entire life will be on camera for the world to see.

This name better be it!!!😂😂😂
😂 Agree
haha! This is awesome. Better than my suggestion, Neo, (The One) from matrix.
