I guess that german hadn't seen the US Army training video on the .45 acp semi-automatic pistol. A bullet from that pistol will penetrate at least 6 3/4" pine boards at close range. Saunder's Tommy fires that same bullet with an even higher muzzle velocity, due to the increased barrel length.
Okay, they would have hid the German bodies in the bushes to delay their discovery instead of just leaving them in the roadway, with a trail of footprints leading right to them. Of course, with such an overwhelmingly positive kill rate, they obviously know more than I do.
I am sure there were guys like this in every war but my question is how do they think they can hide from getting involved in real combat their whole entire hitch in the service. You can't try and do that for 2-4 years and always get away with it, eventually something is going to happen and you are either going to be found out or you are going to actually have to fight, unless you just want to surrender and take your chances as a POW.
