@@TimerGallerythere has been other displays where the 6’s had the tops and the 9’s had the bottoms so having said that, that blows your theory out of the water and if that was the case then why not have the 6’s with the tops and the 9’s without the bottoms? And also there has been displacement where the 6’s didn’t have the tops and the 9’s didn’t have the bottoms and it’s very easy to tell a 6 from a 9 even if the 6 had the top and the 9 had the bottom or if the 6 didn’t have the top and the 9 didn’t have the bottom because I don’t know about you but whenever I look at my bedside clock (does the 6’s with the tops and the 9’s with the bottoms) I’m never confused to which is which so to me your theory doesn’t make a lot of sense but I will say this on my current oven/stove the clock display on that just happens to do the 6’s with the tops and the 9’s without the bottoms and I do have a keyboard (the instrument not the thing you type with on a computer) that has a number display where the 6’s don’t have tops and the 9’s don’t have bottoms and that keyboard is the only thing I own where it has a number display where the 6’s don’t have tops everything else that I own that has a digital number display the 6’s have the tops and if I had it my way every single 7-segment digital number display would have 6’s with tops
The 6's don't have the tops that's bad
this is just to differentiate the 6's from the 9's.

@@michaelsegal3558 great point, but I don't think it takes away from the experience, anyway thanks for the feedback❤
Whenever I see one of these and the 6’s don’t have the tops it totally ruins the experience for me
