Hello brother, greetings from Peru. I love your videos very much, I trust your knowledge a lot. Therefore, I would like to ask you a question. I hope you don't disturb please. On power sources, such as the PCH 1v Buck Converter power supply. There is a "boost" line that has a capacitor parallel to the phase line (coil) I have investigated, but little have I been able to understand what that line is for with that capacitor. I hope you can help me please. Very grateful from now on
Actually boots line capacitors are used to create the high voltage for switch in channel mosfets. If you see through a dso you can understand that in general MOSFET gate voltage is quite high then the input voltage that's why charge pump circuit is used in the IC so that btsd capacitor and register are used to create that high voltage. If you understand then download any pwm i c and cheeing the internal diagram of that IC you can understand it very easily
And what if I didn't have that condenser in the boost line? Yesterday I got an Asus ROG Strix B550-I board, which had a broken capacitor on that line. And in the coil it had 2.2v, and it was power for the RAM, which is 1.2v. I found that voltage strange, unfortunately I did not measure the voltage again when I placed the 0.22uf capacitor... But the plate came to work. But what would happen if you don't put a capacitor in or if you didn't have that boost line? Thank you very much for your clarification. I'm still going to study with the DSO, why if I have one :D Thanks a lot
I think I already understood better, the boost line that a capacitor has in series with the phase line, is used to generate a higher voltage at the MOSFET gate, than its input voltage. But what is that capacitor used in series for? I understand that a capacitor in series, in alternating current, at a higher frequency, less resistance, which charges and discharges. I'm going to see with the DSO if I find pulses or frequency before or after the capacitor. Although since it is connected to the phase line, then on one side I will have pulses. But on the side of the capacitor going to the IC to the boost line I don't know. But I also wonder, why is it necessary to create a higher voltage at the MOSFET gate, a higher voltage than at its input. Although, if it's channel N, source should be more negative than gate. oh I think I'm getting the hang of it!! I'm going to start studying now, I think I already understood!! Thank you so much
Hello friend, greetings from Peru again. I don't know if I could understand the video correctly, because the automatic subtitles are sometimes not coherent. But what I understood is that the RSMRST signal detects a change of state in the POWER BUTTON. It also makes a state change. RSMRST like POWER BUTTON starts in high state. But when I pressed the power button, I understood that both make a state change. But now I have done the test with two boards, an MSI Z270 and an Asus B360M-A. Its RSMTRST AND POWER BUTTON signals start high. And when I reboot or turn off the board, I don't see any change in state in the RSMRST signal :( I did the test with a DSO. And maybe I misunderstood. I would be very grateful if you could clarify that doubt for me. And it is I have an MSI board that goes from CPU LED to DRAM repeatedly, without going to VGA OR BOOT. I already did the BIOS and all the voltages are apparently fine. It even has the VCORE voltage and its CPU_RST signal. with its content.
Desktop me laptop se jyada kaam hai aaj k time me or customer 300 se jyada nahi deta kyoki new board 1300 me available hai So my best advice for you brother dont waste your time now days in desktop i have repaird desktop mb from last 10 year but now days i have stopped desktop board Isme bhi customer 300 se jyada nahi dega or new sio hi 450 se 650 ka hai 😂😂😂😂
Dakho BIOS mein koi halt option hai ki nahin wo disable kar do to yah hat jata hai maine bhi Aisa case dekha hai halt option ko agar aap disable kar doge to Aisa problem or nahin aaega.
