Wahniangleng (Umiew River Trek) - The Other Side || Shillong || Meghalaya || India || November 2021

The Umiew River originates from Nongkrem village and flows down to Mawphlang where a huge man made dam has been constructed to tap the river for providing water to the Greater Water Shillong Water Supply Project. This location we are going today is located in between the Umtyngar bridge and the Mawphlang Dam. Many videos have been made of this location, but rarely on the other side of the river bank.
