Love the Lake District used to live there. Freewheeling and fuel economy, if you followed Top Gear then there was an episode where Jeremy tested fuel economy by letting a car freewheel and then run with no accelerator in high gear. He found the car used fuel freewheeling but there was virtually no fuel used running in high gear.
Good idea with keeping the tank lighter , have a Transalp and only 28 inch inseam , stopping on hills with anything less than studied braking can result in tip over situations . So many learners drop their bikes because their bike is too heavy and tall.😮 Great video, test rode a NT1100 here in Oz , great bike .
Absolutely breathtaking countryside 👍

Ah yes I remember that episode. It could have been a good option. But I had fun, and it’s such a beautiful place, that’s the main thing. 👍👍
Why do you have those weird mirror arms, what do they do?
I thought you meant my arms. Do you mean folding mirrors? Handy when not needed as fold away. 👍
Looked nice and quiet until you hit Kendal.
Actually most A roads were chocka. I edited those out. Must be gridlock in Summer. 👍
@@CodgerBiker That's what I was expecting to see!
