Here you will get to know how IBM does their Off Campus hiring and also at the end I am sharing tips and tricks to successfully pass IBM interview.

Fully depends on you bt I recommend Java bcz as freshers u will get developer roles mostly in MNC... If u love python and have aiml projects then u can go for python .. u will get gd analyst job.. fully depends on u

Hey in my case the intervewer asked SQL queries about insert etc and also some codes from project. Didnt expect that, so prepare everything

Depends on your interest... If u r interested in AI they will ask from AI .. if Java then java... Bt Java is more preferred... Off campus you can try LinkedIn or other websites..

Cover your CV well ... Everything will come from there.. and cover all the languages well
Hi,I have learned all oops concepts and core concepts of java,is it enough to crack fresher interview or i have to learn advanced java topics too like jdbc,jcp ?
Basic of jdbc is ok and rest all ok... And prepare your project and SQL .. u will be able to crack interview

Depends on the interviewers... So cover everything...at least have knowledge of all the topics

After you get your training assigned
Does they shortlisted first only for coding round or they have directly sent the coding round test link
They do shortlist... But in general most of the candidates get selected for coding assessment
I gave coding assessment for back-end developer I completed Java but while writing half of the sql my time over... So can I get selected for next English round
Wait for the results... Depends on others performance
can you share the coding question, what was the topic based on array? and how many questions were there in the coding assessment

@@jayanta3542 that was a simple 2D array question..like need to print the row and col values before a given number... The matrix was given.. bt this time questions are coming little tough..dp and all they are giving so be prepared

I am from 2024 batch . I applied form on 31 aug , I get two mails first one is their submitted email and second one is candidate verification, can you tell what will be the next step and how can I crack this interview.
Yes you will receive mail .. like coding assessment and then it will go step by step .. it takes time

i m 2024 passout and 2 weeks before i had appeared for on campus ibm drive but couldnot clear the coding round so when can i expect again to appear for offcampus drive
Check IBM cool down period... How long they takes
Today we received notification for codeknack in our placement group. What will be exam structure and can this time coding be difficult since there is recession
Ya coding round is becoming bit length and little tough bt if you practice you can crack it... Check this video .. same structure will be followed

How much time does IBM take to send the English assessment mail after the coding round. I attempted the coding round on 12 jan 2024 and did not receive any mail ,it has been 5 days. All test cases were perfect in the coding round.
They take about 2days
Can you tell me which month your training started? And also are you 2023 passout?
Yes 2023 passout.. May - June.. 2 months training ..
They've asked me to finish my coding round within 14 days and I received a reminder. Is it okay if I complete it on the last day, or will that cause any issues?
Do as early as possible... Don't keep it for the last day.. if any issue happens then u will not get time
How to clear English round it's like unlimited questions in certain time limit so how many questions we should answer to get shortlisted for gd??
As many as u can... Don't waste time on one... If u r confused just skip

Apart from prime number, what else did the interviewer asked?

Their own platform or something like codechef, hackerrank and all...
Just want to be clear should i able to use inbuilt libraries or not, like stl in CPP
Any platform they give u .. u will be able to use libraries ..very rare case happens that u don't get libraries... As I remember it was on hackerrank

As freshers no location preference... They will place u anywhere in India
What about projects and resume shortlist it's hard though, can you share
Many interviewers asked about the project but in my case he didn't ask... Resume for freshers is simple You only need to clear the marks of 10 and 10+2 and cgpa which is required... Check the requirements before applying
When will they declare the results of coding round once it is done??and if we clear the test when will they conduct the english assessment??
1day they takes...they will inform you after coding round

Hi bro I had cleared my coding assessment and also completed english assessment , how much time does it takes to know if I cleared my English assessment or not
Many are getting interviews on 5th December so wait for a week or two maybe you are in a different slot... It takes a week or two

@@JustShorts-7 English round is pretty easy ..just be confident and answer as many as u can ... Like u have experience what comes... So be confident this time... U will crack through.... Questions are all basic

The offline center is default Kolkata or in my city itself as well?
Also what is the inhand salary, not the ctc
Mostly they call in techno Kolkata... In-hand it's 32k

Joining date will be after you clear all rounds
GD and interview will be in 2 consecutive days

After training any exam is there or what is the process of after training

IBM doesn't takes any money ... You should check... it's fake I think

Training might happen before joining or after joining.. but training is mandatory ... U will get project after you clear training
i'm 2023 ece passout, i got selected in capgemini in 2022 sept during college placements. Its been more than 6 months from june this year when i completed my btech, still we haven't got our offer letter or joining 🤷♀ almost 1.5 years and counting

Wait for a month... If they have a cool down period then they will not be sending you mail else will send you.

Can u plz give some idea in your case how long it took after HR contacted you.

I had my online training which ended in June and August HR called for September joining... Bt background check happened after that training.. in July

Recently i gave my ibm coding assessment.they given 2 coding questions. I wrote one question all testcases pass and another question i wrote fullcode but i didn't testcases pass because my time is over.. any chances for nextround?? Any one please tell if u known..

Takes time... In my case it took 20 days for the interview ... So u need to wait as of now until u get further mail
From your reply I understood that you received next mail after 20days in which u r selected for interview is mentioned. So interview date is immediate next day or how many days between from received mail date.

Within a month u will get mail and it is sent at least 7 days prior to the GD date

GD nothing to prepare as such be confident and give... And for the interview prepare well... Study all basics and cover ur whole CV

So what domain should I prefer for the jobs?

Yes easy to medium... Array string ... Sometimes dp and memorization
Hi recently i got a expression of interest for ibm for ase role which contain banglore location at bottom in mail but i need pune location , how can i change it because there is no info of hr ??
Onboarding is mostly in Bangalore BCIT, so onboarding will be there for sure and project location can be Pune if you are lucky and if you ask hr that you want Pune only you might get benched due to project unavailability so take any location you get
