Margret Taylor's incredible high note at 9:08 is outrageously stunning.
I agree
You're in the top five of the thousands of reactions I've seen, I cried in 80% of the videos on this song and believe me I've seen it thousands of times...on another note, I saw Pulse in Munich, The Wall in Berlin, The Wall in Bucharest, Nick Mason in Bucharest, Roger Waters in Sofia, David Gilmour in Vienna, Rome and Pompeii and I bought a ticket for this year's Circo Masimo concert in Rome... ...it was the best money spent in my life!
Wow, sounds epic. Appreciate you tuning in and sharing the experience with us
I experience the same emotions while listening to Pink Floyd that you do. I lost my child three years ago and hit a dark point that I didn’t really care if I came back. But I found that releasing pain helped bring me back to a better consciousness and they were my go to. I wish you love and light, my friend. New sub here!❤
Wow, what a meaningful response - thank you!
Twice it indeed epic
I was fortunate enough to get tickets to see Pink Floyd perform "The Wall" concert in February of 1980, I was 24 years old. It was/is, the most Incredible, Phenomenal, Concert, Show, Play, Performance, of any kind that I have ever seen in all my 68 years on this planet!
I say fortunate because tickets were very difficult to acquire. Because of the massiveness of "The Wall" performances, and the enormous logistics involved in a World Tour of this size, Pink Floyd performed only 12 Shows of "The Wall" in the United States in 1980.
Six on the east coast in Uniondale Long Island NY, (where I saw them), and six on the west coast in LA.
Something I'll never forget for the rest of my life,....
Wow, incredible- thanks for sharing - must have been epic
We of us that are in. I can't say an elect group. Nothing like Bohemian ground or Bohemian Grove but. We can probably teach you a lot, sir. And we'd like you to come around for the ride.
Are you asking me to join the Illuminati? 🤠
I don,t mind the talking over, but i do get annoyed when they pause fifty times. Such a vibe KILLER, just imagine if they did that in concert, i don,t know how you can get a real reaction if you don,t listen to it all the way through without pausing, thats why i,m not subscribing sorry!
Yeah, TH-cam will take the video down if there isn’t commentary - agree that there’s a time to listen to the song without interruption and a different opportunity to share in deep sentiment collectively with commentary - all the best
Great song, BUT PLEASE DON’ T TALK on a Dave Gilmour solo
Lol, I know - TH-cam will take it down if I don’t add commentary- I understand how sacrilegious that is 😅
The only thing better than Pink Floyd is Pink Floyd live, and this version has a couple heartbreakingly beautiful parts. I never get tired of it. Someone recently described PF to me as high vibrational, seventh chakra energy. I don't know about that, but it hits me deep and I can't help but cry. I can also tell you that I've been so depressed a few times in my life that Pink Floyd's music was painful. I literally don't go a day without listening to at least a little PF, the way some people microdose psilocybin.
I heard another person say that PF always plays the perfect notes you didn't know you needed to hear, almost like they surprise you no matter how many times you've heard a song, and I've heard dozens of people reacting to Pink Floyd wonder "how do they do that?" I've been listening to them for decades and I still hear new things in their music. All those sounds, layered and coming together, some of them you don't even notice, you have to seek them out, like Richard Wright's steady long tones on the synth under it all, supporting the other layers, but it's there and it's sublime. I think my brain experiences it as ecstacy. Anyway, clearly I could go on...😆but I'll spare you. 🤘🏽💗🖖🏽
Great breakdown - love the idea of microdosing PF - a great practice 🤠
The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics and Vincent by Don McClean are two songs that hit me.
Thanks for the recommendation- will check it out
Went to 3 live PF concerts…each was amazing
Going to try and get to one before they stop touring - but I’ll bet the old school concerts were something else - a moment in time
I feel you brother ❤
My husband saw them in 1994 in Madison wi.
That’s awesome
Saw them live in Tampa Florida, Pulse concert. Best show ever
Beautiful song...Epic Performance👏👏👏
Great Reaction saw them twice once in 1977 Atlanta and 1994 Clemson Stadium best concerts by far I've ever been to! Sorrow from pulse concert is a good one. Keep Talking also from pulse concert
Very cool
I'm convinced there's a combination of visual, aural, and mental processes that, when all tied together, cause a physiological reaction inside one's body -- specifically the eyes, the lachrymal ducts -- that causes tears to flow. This perhaps can happen even without awareness of the message in the lyrics. Of course, it's very wonderfully human to take all the input together and become engulfed in the total experience of the artists. EDIT 8/21/24 -- The release of emotions stirred by the music is much like the music theory of RESOLUTION. I get the same physical and mental reactions as you do, Jon, when I hear the string arpeggio that starts Patsy Cline's song "Sweet Dreams" [ th-cam.com/video/n0YktY3mL7o/w-d-xo.html ].
I’m ready for it
Why in the world can't we get our world? Leaders to just listen to this once every freaking day, instead of having to close Congress, close the government. And not have to put themselves out on a wherefore line or actually work at McDonald's for $20 an hour. Why? Are they treating us like this? Why can't they just freaking see? I mean, Steve Miller had it nailed back in the 70s. Come on, people. !!
Time to get craft services involved with some funky punch for the power mongers - but shift happening one person at a time is still powerful - just have to align in the right direction and become more visionary than reactionary
Nice reaction, full of emotions. That's what David with his mates are the best in, Creating soundscapes. BUT: Never ever talk through a solo of David Gilmour.
I don,t mind the talking over, but I do get annoyed when they pause it fifty times, such a vibe KILLER. Just imagine if they did that at the concert. How can you get a real reaction when you don, don't, listen all the way through without stopping? Please try to refrain from pausing, that's why i,m not subscribing sorry,
Saw them live once. As a teenager. I’ll NEVER forget it.
Very cool
pink floyd sorrow live pulse is amazing lyrics and guitar
Will check it out
Pink Floyd Vet here but only seen them live 4 times. What an emotional and inspirational roller coaster they are, combining musical artistry
and mastery with deeply personal and profound social commentary in the lyrics. It doesn't matter what you do, every single song hits you in a different way each time you hear it. No other band can do that to you. Not before and not since. Welcome to the Pink Floyd dimension. It's like no other.
Agreed. Four times! Epic - appreciate your sharing
@@JonRayWizard My pleasure.
Something is set up wrong with your audio. When you speak the music should not drop to zero amplitude. I don't know what is wrong, but it may be that you have things set up to travel through a single channel, both your microphone and the music, when there should be at least three. Your voice and the stereo feed from the video you are reacting to.
Thanks for the heads up, will try and get that all untangled and figured out - some of it is that if we don’t cut the music and add commentary then TH-cam will take the video down
@@JonRayWizard You may just have to stop the video to make your comments. Then TH-cam doesn't have a copyright legal dispute with your actions whatsoever. That doesn't mean that TH-cam abides by the terms of copyright law, however. They will do as they please until enough people complain to their governments about it and then the local feds will force their compliance.
Hope in love
Epic Video. Thanks
Glad you liked it! Thanks for commenting
dommage de ne pas faire pause pour vos interventions, car elles interrompent des transitions musicales extraordinaire
Yeah, unfortunately I have to do that or TH-cam will give me a strike - I agree that it’s a magical experience
Awesome 😎
Such a great song
I didn't get to see the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour but I did see the Pulse tour in Atlanta Ga. Greatest concert EVER !! Also seen them in Louisville Ky. in 1976.
That’s awesome
Music alchemy
É incrível a música do Pink Floyd
