I have PCOS myself and wrote my bachelor's thesis on the subject in medical school. In my experience doctors where I'm from only see PCOS as a fertility issue, but about half of people with PCOS have insulin resistance or diabetes when they turn 40 - And it's kinda scary that patients are not informed about this. So thank you, Susie, for being open about the condition and educating your audience
I have insulin resistance and hypothyroidism. I’ve asked to be tested several times for pcos and they just say to not worry about it until I’m trying to have kids. So frustrating!
The possibility of diabetes was the thing that shocked me into getting my routine together! Definitely not talked about enough ❤ you’re so welcome and would love to read that thesis hehe
I recently got diagnosed and my doctor didn’t tell me anything about it I had to look it up and she made it seem like it was nothing that would affect me at all
what a great video, for many women PCOS (and basically every other medical condition 🙄) is largely under diagnosed and it's amazing to see a creator bringing attention to this and being so open!!! love ya Susie 🤍🤍🤍
I had IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) a year before I was taken seriously. It was blamed on stress… And my endometriosis was prominent since I was 16 (I’m 32 now) because I was told it was normal to have painful periods to the point I couldn’t walk🙄
I kept asking my health care providers to send me to a gynecologist. I had an ultrasound done every couple months and I could see a cyst growing in there. They kept telling me to lose weight or that they can only treat PCOS if you're trying to conceive (because, you know, women are supposed to have children to be worthy of respect, apparently) 🙃 I ended up needing emergency surgery and losing my whole left ovary and fallopian tube because they refused to treat me.
Hey Susie thank you for sharing your story!! I'm a medical student and just wanted to share that we learn in our curriculum that 1st line therapy for PCOS is in fact weight loss because it is related to how PCOS develops and is usually associated! HOWEVER, I think it is extremely important to distinguish that a doctor should never ever just say to lose weight and be otherwise dismissive of symptoms or judgmental at all. There are other treatment options too like you mentioned, and having PCOS can 100% MAKE weight loss difficult so it's a perpetuating cycle. I'm so sorry to hear that you have had negative experiences with doctors, and I think it's so important for future doctors to hear from actual people who experience the medical issues we learn about and be reminded to treat a person as a whole and for their unique experience.
When you have a UTI you should ALWAYS let your urine checked out. Here in Germany they would never give you antibiotics without checking if there is bacteria in the urine. Taking antibiotics is no joke, our bodies have gotten used to them so a lot of bacteria has become resistant to it. Peeing in cups since I was 15. You get used to it. ☺️
another factor playing into bacteria becoming more resistant is that people don't actually finish their course of antibiotics and just stop when they feel better again
Thank you for answering my question, Susie! I was told at 18 that I had PCOS and the male gynecologist just said "oh wow you have a lot of cysts". When I asked if its dangerous and why, he simply said "it's not dangerous, its just annoying. The symptoms are A-B-C and there's nothing you can do about it. Maybe just lose some weight". I never went back to that bastard and honestly ignored it for so long, but your video has inspired me to do some more research myself and skip that sweet breakfast in the morning😅 the bloating struggle is real (and the weight issues, sweet cravings, hair growth EVERYWHERE)
Love that your doing a video on this, just wanna clarify for anyone who's looking to change their diet for PCOS, high protein/fiber is muchhh more important than cutting carbs. Carbs are still necessary, it's about pairing them with high protein/fiber/healthy fats. Even something like low carb bread probably isn't necessary, a higher fiber bread that's full of whole grains/seeds is just as beneficial! If paired with lots of protein 💖 hope that makes sense wishing everyone the best on this journey! Also, if u are just starting and feel overwhelmed, just start with more protein, around 20g per meal. It really makes the biggest difference! And slowly change your diet as u get more comfortable
Make sure to take folic acid if you take inositol because it messes with your folic acid resorption. And I’ve been taking D-Mannose (a sugar) to help with UTIs and I haven’t had one in 3 years!
This has been the most helpful video, I got blood tests and scans done a few moths ago and was diagnosed with PCOS , the doctor was very unhelpful and told me that the only thing I can do is loose weight , nothing else she can do for me which defiantly made me super depressed , watching this video has given me more answers than any doctor ever has so THANK YOU so much.
Came here to say this!! I had recurring UTIs for a couple of months before they figured out it was actually a staph infection and the antibiotics they had been giving me were doing nothing 😅
@@jenniferibarra7737 I didn't mean to scare!! Hopefully it is nothing but it is good to get it checked out, kidneys can be replaced but it is a hard thing to do. Best wishes!
my first ever UTI I didn't know that you can only get rid of it with antibiotics so I tried to just drink hella water and stuff and ignored it, until it turned into a kidney infection and I was nearly hospitalised and was in THE worst pain for 2 weeks plus developed fever and everything... SUCH a miserable time lol NEVER IGNORE YOUR BODY YELLING AT YOU
the UTI problem is usually caused by your partner and/or their hygiene. getting them so frequently is not normal and worth getting everything checked out. for the both of you too. also, cranberry works wonders for prevention and *helping* to reduce the severity. for periods and such, raspberry tea is absolute magic for that! it helps with regulation, cramps, etc. it also tastes pretty good too without any sweeteners. i struggle with terrible periods, and it is such a golden little plant. it's not a cure-all but it is damn good at alleviating symptoms!
@@Thisgirlthing you sure are on a comment crusade. it's a well-known thing that male partners can cause frequent UTIs. it's not a terrible thing if ur just not compatible bacterially. im fully aware of what PCOS does to the body, thank u for ur unwavering faith in my intelligence. sometimes the hygiene fix is just a simple rag wash before sex. dont put words in my mouth. hygiene isn't always worst case scenario like never washing properly.
Not sure if u know but cotton panties have helped me tremendously with UTI’s thought I would mention it especially since u showed those panties that didn’t look like cotton. I know cotton panties aren’t the cutest but not having infections is worth the price. Plus cotton panties so much more comfortable. I hope this helps u and thank u for your content u r so entertaining and watching u puts me in a good mood 😊
Suzie! I’m going to be your actual saviour. I had consistent UTIs for months and I narrowed it down to sexy time - so I now take a tablet called hiprex straight after and it’s been years since my last!!!! Honestly do it 🙌🏼 You can get it from the pharmacy - im also Australian so it’s available at your local chemist xx
Yes I agree with all of the above! Hiprex was my number one for cystitis and UTIs, because Ural and cranberry juice wasn't enough and I got UTIs from childhood to mid 20s.
Yes, I sometimes have enourmous flare ups...even so I'm almost expert at it :// washing down there with probiotic female hygienic soaps is must, and it is also very very connected to our female organs, I also cannot stress enough the importance of probiotics, the ones you take orally, find some good ones, it is worth investing and also...probiotics that you stick inside you O_O :D very important to re introduce bacteria there too... try to limit coffee, enough water and...hygiene before and after love times....even for your partner...it kinda takes away from the passion, but better that to suffer in agony, I literally sometimes could not even move from the amount of pain...
just a tip from a uti prone girly! loose pants, no underwear or cotton granny panties, lots AND LOTS of water, pee every single time it feels like you have too even if you just got off the toilet five seconds ago, and cranberry supplements!! those honestly help a ton. I think they line your bladder so the bacteria that causes the infection can't stick as easily or something?? i'm not sure, but i ended up in the ER multiple times with uti's and once i was peeing blood and had a fever which was very not fun at all. but i haven't gotten one in about 5-ish years THANK THE HEAVENS
I just found out recently I have endometriosis and cysts and had to have a surgery and one of the first things I thought of was this video! It’s so helpful and nice o see others with the same struggles!💖
I have PCOS and I think I have cysts because I used to not have pain during my periods, but now I think I have developed endometriosis. I’m sorry you’re struggling with this too but I am thankful there are videos like this and people who leave helpful comments so I don’t feel so alone in these struggles. Thanks for your comment. ❤
as someone who also suffer with PCOS too . Its just so nice to here someone else that deals and has such exact same symptoms. also you're just so real that it just comforting! I honestly love& appreciate these videos ❤
susie!!! if you get UTIs a lot, get D-Mannose!!! it’s kinda like the inositol, it’s just a specific type of sugar. I have interstitial cystitis 🤪 and if i start to feel the UTI burn, i take a teaspoon of D-Mannose in water a few times until it’s gone. that stuff is literally magic! and so much less harsh than antibiotics. plus aloe vera gel pills. changed my life!!!!!
Not a pcos sufferer but have lots of friends who do. Sending lots of love to all those struggling. Again not a doctor, but a friend used acupuncture and it really helped. ❤
i'm struggling with pcos and just can't get myself together.... idk but im so so grateful fot that content bcs it reminds me to just to take just one step a day. queen is queening and glowing as always 👑👑👑👑✨✨✨
😭UTI suck tips though make sure you and Murray wash hands and yourselves well, no fabric softener in undergarments, peeing after business, no holding it, check with your doctors about your birth control, and make sure to hydrate properly and cut back on sugar almost completely while treating it ❤❤❤❤ love you Susie 🥹 I hope you dont get one for a while an update too be sure to check with your doctor if you get them too frequently because they can lead to early kidney disease
ive been watching your channel for years now & i was JUST diagnosed with PCOS yesterday!! so coming back to this video with an open mind to gain more insight has helped alotttt 💗
thank you so much for sharing your experience and bringing awareness to PCOS. I am a nursing student hoping to specialise in women's health, and doctors being unaware of PCOS is a big issue. The more people know about it the more they will be able to advocate for themselves and hopefully get a diagnosis ❤
Hi Susie! Two years ago i was struggling with PCOS symptom´s, but i had the lucky to find a wonderful gynecologist. Instead of give me a lot of pills she told me i had to treat my insulin resistance and this resolved my problem completely. Unfortunately i see many girls receiving the wrong treatment :/ xoxo from Brasil :D
So happy for you that you had a quick diagnosis 💪 sadly, like you said, it's not like this in most cases, my cousin had symptoms since she was 15/16 and only got the pill prescription and that's all, ever since, 10 years past and she was demanding all this years to test and the only thing doctors said is to lose weight🤦♀️ finally a doctor listend and made her feel like she is not crazy and got a diagnosis a couple of months ago. I myself was a candidate to test for pcos for years, and after a lot of testing, we found out I have to much prolactin in my blood and can now treat it. To anyone, who struggles with hormonal imbalance, you are not crazy, be demanding and change your doctor until they listen to you and are your supporter on your health journey and not just wave you through, you got this sister💕🤝
Your video’s are so great and your straight talk is wonderful for young women…wish your style and info would have been around when I was young! Back then (about a million years ago😂, p.s. I am 73!! ) there were no resources other than what the Dr said. Many times left high and dry for answers. I applaud you Susie …keep doing what you are doing!
Thanks for the video Susie! I got diagnosed with pcos this year at 32, it’s been a long journey and to anyone else with concerns, sometimes your diagnosis isn’t as obvious, so keep advocating for yourself, the right gp will refer you to an endocrinologist.
okay sooo its 1am here in Turkiye and i just realized i have so many symptoms that I decided to make an appointment :') I created an account to thank you, love you girl
I have been WAITING for this video! As a fellow PCOS girly, I would 100% recommend seeing a naturopath. I’m 23 and could count the number of periods I had on 1 hand. And after seeing a naturopath for 7months she’s helped me balance my hormones and get my periods back!
That’s amazing that the naturopath worked for you! I’ve heard mixed things about naturopaths from friends with pcos but I am definitely considering giving it a go after hearing this 👀💗
Love this! For me, what’s worked has been metformin (prescribed by dr), keto/low carb diet, and laser hair removal on my face (expensive, but personally worth it for my mental health). I wish i would’ve gone to the dr when I was a teen, but better late than never!
I was just diagnosed literally yesterday but I actually don’t believe it’s pcos. I never had problems getting pregnant, I ovulate regularly and my periods are regular. My symptoms are low estrogen, my thyroid isn’t working and weight gain. They suggested metformin but I said no because the side effects sound scary. Did you have any of the side effects?
@@Kris_Si2 my symptoms are/were facial hair, very irregular periods, weight gain (abdomen), and low estrogen. Most of my symptoms have been improved by metformin and a low carb diet, fortunately. I’ve been taking it for a couple of years now and I think it’s the best thing for me and I don’t remember having serious side effects. However, other than the low estrogen, our symptoms are not similar, so theres a chance it’s not pcos (I’m no dr lol), so maybe get a second opinion! I’ve heard that some people don’t do well with metformin so I understand your concern
try running vinegar and water threw your coffee pot, then do a thing of just water, then brew a pot of coffee. it might just have icky building up. I do it with my espresso machine and kureuig once a week.
In the middle of being diagnosed for this and have been wanting to find good casual videos just like this! Thanks so much Susie! We’re in this together ❤❤❤
The only thing my doctor said 10 years ago (16 years old at the time) after I was diagnosed with pcos that I had to lose weight and if I wanted kids I should make an appointment for further testing. I had to figure out everything myself and I couldn't lose weight until last year. I figured out what suited me in terms of diet and exercise and lost 40 kg. I still need to lose about 20 kg to be at my goal. it was very hard in the beginning but it doesn't feel like a diet anymore, I'm used to it now. Thank you for sharing your routine!
Thank u do much , it’s hard to find other women with/post about PCOS. I always suffered with extremely painful and irregular periods , and just got diagnosed about 2 and half years ago. I would always set up strict diets but never stick to them ; leading my PCOS to worsen. Im glad you posted this vid , makes me feel better and more comfortable. Gave me a different out look . Ps: also even though I got diagnosed about three years ago , I only just realized today that I’ve got it. English isn’t my first language and I just recently knew what exactly PCOS is .back when I was diagnosed they were of course diagnosing me in my language ,and when they mentioned PCOS , it was the first time I had heard of the medical term . Even though I just kinda zoned out for most of the doctor’s appointment, they had said the medical term in my language and I never bothered to search it up in English . Up until today . I went to go tell my mum and she was like “ yeah ? The doctor literally said that ,how don’t you know ?”
For the last question, you are my favourite PCOS and everything influencer ❤ I can't tell you how much I love your videos and how good you make me feel about myself. With your unfiltered videos, you are helping a girl to build her self-confidence ❤
Hey suzie! i really empathised with your workout videos when i originally found you, and this is why i can relate! after 5 years I have really been struggling to get a diagnosis for endo but its been done! trying to do everything I can to avoid the surgery & I get so much encouragement from your lifestyle videos. Currently trying out low-fodmap :)
I have PCOS and studied it in school. I love you anyways, but love that you share your journey. Anxiety and depression are more common in women with PCOS in comparison to women without PCOS, per research. You are on point with most things so please keep sharing what you're learning and doing. Especially what works.
Same with the UTIs!! I’ve been taking “D-mannose” along with “grapefruit seed extract” and I seriously haven’t gotten one since. Try it, it’s natural and totally works!!
Thank you for being so open about PCOS! Also, I have had UTI‘s for sooo many months and years going on.. and then I stopped taking birth control pills and almost immediately stopped getting UTI‘s as well. My gyn said this happens a lot with girls who take the pill for years. So maybe try changing it up if it‘s possible with your PCOS? I have never had a UTI since I stopped taking the pill. I hope you‘ll continue creating such positive and informing and fun videos. Love ya 🫶🏻🫶🏻
what a great video, Susie! I also have PCOS :/ and have learned that Greek yoghurt, though high in protein, is not ideal for PCOS with insulin resistance. Dairy products are insulin-stimulating and thus not as good as they seem for us. I have since switched to either coconut yoghurt or chia pudding in the morning (alongside some form of egg).
I don't have PCOS but I have met people who do and I can only imagine how dreadful life can be when, not only do you have a highly complex condition that can have a huge negative effect on your life, but to also have to deal with doctors who don't seem to care or want to bother to DO THEIR JOB and HELP YOU. This last part I have experienced on different degrees, and it is so frustrating to not feel heard about medical issues. Oh, and the fact that health seems to be a luxury with how ridiculously expensive it is. You may not be a doctor, but you are certainly an image of hope for the many who struggle with this, keep being you, Susie :) PS: I absolutely loved Murray's input off camera XD
You can drink plenty of cranberry juice and/or cranberry tablets. This really helps! Also, keeping your feet warm is very helpful for reducing URI. Get well soon Susie
I have been prone to UTI's as well, if I feel a slight bit of one coming on I buy cranberry juice ASAP. Not sure if you tried that! Also, maybe a TMI...going pee right after "fun time in the bedroom" is helpful. You said you have tried everything, so not sure if you did those, probably! I hope you're feeling better, and I am glad you up loaded! We miss you when you take breaks but know you need them sometimes!
When i was 18 i went to a gyno because I'd go months and month with a period. She looked at me and said oh yeah pcos! I said what is that? And she nonchalantly said oh its just cysts on your ovaries which can mean infertility and weight gain. I took it really well then went home and cried because she basically told me i will never have kids and that i just need to go on the pill. Surprised how many women had the same experience??
Thank you for being so open about this topic!!! It literally feels like a good friend/sister helping me understand something that I don’t. I hope that makes sense… thank you again! Also, I loved the unedited and very realistic video style! You always make me feel like I’m not the only one in so many ways. 🙏🏻💖
I struggled so much with chronic UTI’s all the way from middle school to beginning of college. I was so tired of antibiotics and nervous about my body becoming resistant to them. So I ended up doing a bit of research and found that D-mannose was a really good supplement in helping keep them at bay. I haven’t had to take any antibiotics since!
I noticed if i eat in a hurry or while standing up and dont rest after eating. It causes alot of bad symptoms. Like pain and bloating. Stress eating is also a thing. Now i sit down and eat slowy without scrolling on my phone. Then sit for atleast 15 minutes to 30 to let my body digest. Then walk after. Its helping me a lil. ❤ hope it helps someone.
Started my period at 10 😢had 1 month period when I was 13… have the chin hair (black and white thick hair also on my belly) PPMD, weight gain, acne, painful/ irregular periods (either a 3 week on off period or skip a month WITH BIRTH CONTROL!!!) ect thank you queen Suzy
I got diagnosed with PCOS at 16 too. My dr put me on a low level pill and I went to another dr 2 years later who put me on a higher level pill and I just consistently gained weight for years after and a few months ago finally decided to go off the pill in an attempt to lose weight and it’s definitely helped along with taking inositol to help with symptoms
Hey Susie. I can relate to absolutely everything you’re saying! It’s so comforting to know I’m not going through this alone. Would love to see some more videos about PCOS and your tips and research!
pcos and bipolar are also common comorbids so if anyone gets mood swings, especially over days, weeks or months, it could be linked to a deeper issue. i've been diagnosed with bipolar and pcos for 10 years and they both suck real hard
I was lucky with my PCOS in a sens. I was able to manage almost all the symptoms with food and lifestyle changes. It was not easy and took many years, but I'm so happy I did it ❤ the only thing I have to manage on a regular basis now are the gut issues related to it.
Applecider vinegar is the worst thing for UTI pain 😢 you can get these saches that neutralise the acidity in your urine to help with the pain, I've had UTIs since a child and I swear.... they changed my life! The ones I get in ireland are called cistopurin, they help with the burning irritated pain so quickly, and paired with the antibiotics you'll be right as rain in no time 🥰
Apple vinegar and water is best had in the morning first thing. I used to take it but it irritated my mouth so I stopped... But thank you for being super honest and transparent in your video :)
I too have PCOS for 8 years , I suggest you take ACV with a straw to protect your teeth. I suggest you not to take an energy drink and take iced latte but not daily or take half the amount. Also take metformin only if you are pre diabetic with very high insulin resistance, it helps loosing weight a bit too, Contraceptives are an optional, depends on people if it suits them or not. Others you said is good and YOU GO GIRL.
I also struggled with UTIs CONSTANTLY through childhood and early in my marriage...but strangely it really helped after I had my first child. I can't remember the last time I had a UTI, if any since I had children. I think being pregnant and giving birth somehow changed my anatomy a little down there, making it harder for bacteria to travel up. I know it sounds far out but thats my theory. Its the only factor that had changed 🤔 Anyone else experienced that?Hope its the same for you Susie❤
Thank you for the helpful tips and advice Susie! :) I have PCOS and I struggled for years with horrible symptoms and to get doctors to listen to me. I have been on two different types of Pills and I have ended up in hospital with bad reactions from both of them. I saw a doctor who specialises in women's reproductive health and she said that for my PCOS the worst thing I could have done was go on the pill. (I have been consistently told by doctors to go on the pill) I am aware that the pill can be amazing for some people and their PCOS, however I would caution that if you have or suspect you have PCOS please see a specialist about this and get good medical advice. My specialist did advise that if I wanted to go on contraception that an IUD would be the only option out of all of them as the hormones are localised and not going throughout my body like the pill. I decided to do it the natural way and heal through lifestyle changes and supplements because my body is so sensitive. (I would like to add that I am in the process of being tested for Endometriosis as the specialist believes that I may have PCSO and ENDO so things which could work for someone with just PCOS may not have worked for me). Yeah just see a specialist, I hope all of you are having good interactions with your doctors and I hope that you are all getting the care you need if you are struggling with Women's health xx
I used to have chronic UTIs and I ended up going to a Urologist and he said that if you have a UTI the bacteria stays in your blatter for up to a year and are more prone to UTIs. If you don't have a UTI for a year then the bacteria is probably gone. Drinking gobs of water and cranberry juice helps flush out your blatter. I also have PCOS but don't have insulin resistance and tried taking Metformin, but it made me feel sick all the time. P.S. love your videos!
Loved this! PCOS girlie here.. so good that you mentioned IBS symptoms, cause laaawd. I have those too, I didn't get it diagnosed but it's so clearly IBS. I should ask my doctor about this.
Thank you for your video! I just got diagnosed with PCOS. Luckily, I don't have an insulin resistance. But I really struggle with not being able to lose weight and a very slow metabolism, as well as fatigue and a foggy brain. I just startet to adjust my diet and I can already feel that my symptoms are getting better. But I actually haven't heard of inositol before. So I just ordered it and I am very excited to try it. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your journey. This video is so helpfull! ❤
Ahhh yesss, I was really hoping that you would make a video abt pcos someday, thank you sooo so much!!! It really calms down my anxiety about this topic hearing people like you talk abt everything :') It's so straining to do all the research on your own, bc my doctor - after so many times of asking- never really tells me enough about what to do besides taking birth control. So really thank you so much, I think this will help a lot of ppl ✨💜
my mom has PCOS and i have several symptoms, but i’ve yet to see a doctor about it. hoping to eventually! it would be nice to have confirmation and see what a woman doctor/gynecologist suggests doing. i don’t want to spend money on things to help combat symptoms without confirmation. i do know that i want to avoid birth control. i’m glad you decided to make this video!
Here’s a tip for the ACV: use less water. Like 8oz max. When you dilute it that much it takes longer to drink and is less potent and tastes way worse. Also, use a straw and stick it back as far as you can without gagging and suck it all down. Helps get it in without ruining your teeth and faster/less diluted. 🥰
im so glad youtube recommended you to me. maybe i will get over my fear of being disappointed by a medical professional just telling me to lose weight and eat healthier :)
“It looks like a rabbit poo” 😂😂 I only just found your channel but I am here for it! I love your diet and exercise challenges, it’s great to see someone relatable with a normal body type rather than a size 0 influencer ❤
I suspected I had PCOS as teenager, irregular periods, overweight and excessive body hair. I kinda just did a deep dive on the internet and eventually lost weight (took a while) and I found taking zinc and magnesium was the master combination for me personally. I’m now much healthier, fitter etc so I think my periods will come regardless but I still take zinc and magnesium and will for rest of my life. I was always to ashamed to talk about my symptoms and also new a GP would just put me on the pill (I’ve tried it and hate it) I think it’s so great that more people are talking about it and there is more education out there now. 14 year old me could’ve really used that ❤
I recommend a straw with your ACV I also add in a teeny bit of honey along with warming the water before adding anything. And when it comes to waxing your upper lip. I would cut the paper smaller or to fit the size of the area that you are waxing.
😅 for friends going to get checked out, make sure you ask them what kind of ultra sound they are doing. I had an internal on when I was expecting one on my stomach.
I have endometriosis, but I’ve always suspected I have PCOS. I know when I had my endo surgery, I had a cyst on my ovary that flared and then went away. You are inspiring me to addrsss it.

Same here. I've only had one once and they made me pee in a cup immediately before anything else.
another factor playing into bacteria becoming more resistant is that people don't actually finish their course of antibiotics and just stop when they feel better again

It's so nice to have some real representation as a mid-size AND PCOS girl. Thanks for that!
Yesssss 😊
Thankyou so much for the advice! 💗 I’m taking this on board xo
This is excellent advice
Make sure to take folic acid if you take inositol because it messes with your folic acid resorption.
And I’ve been taking D-Mannose (a sugar) to help with UTIs and I haven’t had one in 3 years!
Also came here to recommend D-Mannose! Game changer!
Keep an eye on those UTIs. I had on go from a UTI to a bladder infection and cause damage to my kidneys. Hope you feel so much better!!!
I have an overactive bladder for one year now and I don’t go to doctors I’m stubborn but now your comment scared me to it
Came here to say this!!
I hope you’re okay, that sounds awful :( Thanks so much gal! The cranberry tablets are helping woohoo xx
my first ever UTI I didn't know that you can only get rid of it with antibiotics so I tried to just drink hella water and stuff and ignored it, until it turned into a kidney infection and I was nearly hospitalised and was in THE worst pain for 2 weeks plus developed fever and everything...
I was going suggest the same, sexy time is a biggg factor
Please do more PCOS related content!! You're so informative and relatable, thank you so much for sharing this with us 😊😊
you're like the sister i've never had and you make me feel so welcomed and safe! sending my hellos from Texas :)
Hoping this might help someone, but going pee after being intimate can (but not always) help lessen having UTIs.
susie!!! if you get UTIs a lot, get D-Mannose!!! it’s kinda like the inositol, it’s just a specific type of sugar.
😭UTI suck
tips though make sure you and Murray wash hands and yourselves well, no fabric softener in undergarments, peeing after business, no holding it, check with your doctors about your birth control, and make sure to hydrate properly and cut back on sugar almost completely while treating it ❤❤❤❤ love you Susie 🥹 I hope you dont get one for a while an update too be sure to check with your doctor if you get them too frequently because they can lead to early kidney disease
ive been watching your channel for years now & i was JUST diagnosed with PCOS yesterday!! so coming back to this video with an open mind to gain more insight has helped alotttt 💗
thank you so much for sharing your experience and bringing awareness to PCOS.
Girl I take a cranberry tablet everyday because I was a UTI girly. They help! Not completely done, but so much less often!
SAME! I was getting them almost monthly but started taking 500mg capsules daily and I haven’t had another one since over a year later 🙌🏼
Cranberry tablets have been working great so far love them ❤
Thanks for the video Susie! I got diagnosed with pcos this year at 32, it’s been a long journey and to anyone else with concerns, sometimes your diagnosis isn’t as obvious, so keep advocating for yourself, the right gp will refer you to an endocrinologist.
okay sooo its 1am here in Turkiye and i just realized i have so many symptoms that I decided to make an appointment :') I created an account to thank you, love you girl
not susie dropping this bomb right after i got diagnosed 🫦🫦🫦
I have PCOS and it’s always helpful to see how other people manage their symptoms. Thanks for the video. ❤
I just knew I have it 💔😞 I don’t feel normal at all how are you coping?
I have been WAITING for this video! As a fellow PCOS girly, I would 100% recommend seeing a naturopath.
I’m 23 and could count the number of periods I had on 1 hand. And after seeing a naturopath for 7months she’s helped me balance my hormones and get my periods back!
Can you please please tell me some things she told you to do? I am just so tired of pcos ...
“The devil’s piss” to describe acv is SO accurate.
try running vinegar and water threw your coffee pot, then do a thing of just water, then brew a pot of coffee. it might just have icky building up.
Can u share some things that you did ? I am 18 and got diagnosed at 16 too , but no doctor is actually helpful
Try it, it’s natural and totally works!!
i feel like i haven’t watched you in so long and i missed you!! i needed a giggle today, thank you. ♥︎
Susie you are looking GOOD girl!! Absolute goals, you help motivate me to continue on my journey ❤
already loved watching u, but knowing we're pcos sisters made ur vids top tier
You may not be a doctor, but you are certainly an image of hope for the many who struggle with this, keep being you, Susie :)
PS: I absolutely loved Murray's input off camera XD
thank you so much for posting stuff like this
was just complaining to a friend about how I need more Susie content! Thank you for posting 🥺
*I have adrenal PCOS. All my levels are perfection EXCEPT my DHEA-S. If no one ever checked that, they would have never known. But mine are sky high.*
I would love for you to daily blog , I would even Pay to watch that ! Love u Susie ❤
Susie you are literally my favourite TH-camr ever. Your videos bring me so much joy and I’m pretty sure we’d be besties if we ever met irl ILYYYYY💓💓💓💓
Love that cute abstract picture of you two in the background. So cute! You looked lovely in your haul as usual.. thanks for another fun video! ❤
Thank you for the helpful tips and advice Susie! :)
I have PCOS and I struggled for years with horrible symptoms and to get doctors to listen to me. I have been on two different types of Pills and I have ended up in hospital with bad reactions from both of them. I saw a doctor who specialises in women's reproductive health and she said that for my PCOS the worst thing I could have done was go on the pill. (I have been consistently told by doctors to go on the pill)
I am aware that the pill can be amazing for some people and their PCOS, however I would caution that if you have or suspect you have PCOS please see a specialist about this and get good medical advice.
Omg you look stunning! You look so healthy, I haven’t watched ur vids in a good while. Beautiful before and after! You look great x
I love putting apple cider vinegar in some soda water with lemon juice and honey. Makes it way more enjoyable imo
Clean your coffee maker? Sometimes you can clean it with vinegar but make sure you run water through a couple times.
Love your videos
my mom has PCOS and i have several symptoms, but i’ve yet to see a doctor about it. hoping to eventually! it would be nice to have confirmation and see what a woman doctor/gynecologist suggests doing. i don’t want to spend money on things to help combat symptoms without confirmation. i do know that i want to avoid birth control. i’m glad you decided to make this video!
storing the fish oil capsules in the freezer will help with the stinky breath!
sending love from germany xx
Here’s a tip for the ACV: use less water. Like 8oz max. When you dilute it that much it takes longer to drink and is less potent and tastes way worse. Also, use a straw and stick it back as far as you can without gagging and suck it all down. Helps get it in without ruining your teeth and faster/less diluted. 🥰
im so glad youtube recommended you to me. maybe i will get over my fear of being disappointed by a medical professional just telling me to lose weight and eat healthier :)
This video was great! Spreading awareness about PCOS is important and makes us PCOS girlies and folks feel less alone. Love u❤️
Now that you have a garden you should definitely try growing the foods you guys routine eat and just make a series out of it!
“It looks like a rabbit poo” 😂😂 I only just found your channel but I am here for it! I love your diet and exercise challenges, it’s great to see someone relatable with a normal body type rather than a size 0 influencer ❤
I love parade! the fabric is great and they are doing great things for the planet! so happy to see you love them too
I take 4000iu vitamin D, magnesium 400mg + zinc 30mg (split dose throughout the day) and this is making a huge improvement for me :)
hey if you're going to drink apple cider vinegar, make suire yto swish your mouth really well with water after to protect your enamel! love u Susie
I absolutely love that photo of you and Murray! So cute
MOREEEEE PCOS VIDS PLSS 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've been using Parade for a couple years now and they're my favorite ☺ I'm buying more ASAP with your code
Mix ACV with a lil ground ginger and Stevia or Monk fruit and it’s like a GOOD low-carb, sugar-free soda(with ice) 🥂
I have endometriosis, but I’ve always suspected I have PCOS. I know when I had my endo surgery, I had a cyst on my ovary that flared and then went away. You are inspiring me to addrsss it.
I have PCOS as well and im glad you made this video! I take apple cider vinegar as well but take it in pill form and I find it much easier to take.
