- Here’s a bit of a rambling from me on some bo4 weapons in zombies. Been doing a lot of research for awhile now, and am here today to chat about some of what I’ve found. Have a good day!

I have every black market weapon fully leveled on bo4, and some of the attatchments can really change them, like the micro 9mm with extended mags 2 pack a punched with bandolier bandit holds something like 1260 ammo, it actually doesn’t even show the ammo properly, it says 1020 or something in reserve but you’re first reload takes from the unshown ammo, just crazy

Black Ops 4 will always personally be a huge disappointment to me because of everything that Blackout reveal had shown and promised. I know that’s a different game mode and yeah yeah whatever excuses but to me, that shows that this game had so much potential to win, and it just didn’t utilize any of it to really become anything notable in the end. It promised so much and just did not deliver in anything except nostalgia bait. Even that was lackluster.
I have never seen someone actually take a look at these guns. Respect.

Always great to see a video from you dude, even though I don't care much for BO4 I'll still watch, you are pretty awesome keep up the good work. I hope so much you will do a a wonder weapon ranking video. I know yours will be very accurate because the amount of garbage wonder weapon rankings I've seen is too much, people say the biggest nonsense but you will for sure know what you're talking about.
I will be doing a wonder weapon ranking but it’ll be a quite a while before that happens.

I definitely think you should make a video that includes attachments for both bo3 and bo4 weapons since it would be way more realistic. Why would i use weapons without attachments when i could make them better with attachments? That being said, i would also like to see how the bo4 weapons stack up to the other weapons on a level playing field. I propose including bo4 in the entire ranking video rather than as its own thing and then doing isolated videos for both bo3 and bo4 with attachments as a side project after you finish with the mobility project.
Bo4 is getting its own isolated ranking regardless. It’s a matter of whether or not I’ll do both compared and not compared to old weapons. Bo3 ranking was my first cod video (it was its own thing) and I just did the no attachments video. So if I ended up making an updated bo3 weapon ranking (granted the old one I made first is a little outdated since I didn’t include DPS and some other stuff) it would be kinda comical lol since that would be 3 of essentially the same video in the span of a year. So idk about bo3, but bo4 there’s a chance.
@@Eazy_P_40 I didn't realize that the first bo3 ranking video included attachments, but I still think you should make a bo4 ranking video that includes attachments. Whether you make a separate no attachments video for bo4 is up to you. I would watch it, but I really want a yes attachments video and for bo4 to be included in the overall ranking regardless of whether attachments are considered or not.
@@danydady6851 bo4 with attachments will almost certainly happen, it’s the no attachments one I’m not sure on. That first Bo3 video included attachments, I just didn’t rank a weapon higher than non attachment weapons just because one had attachments and the other didn’t if that makes sense, it was my first cod video so it wasn’t quite as strict on stuff lol.
I like Bo4 and I really appreciate the effort you've made with your videos on weapon statistics and performance. Im looking forward to the Bo4 vid! I also don't really understand why people haven't really gone back to it as of late due to MW3 being really dry content wise. I think there are some unappreciated things about the game and there's alot of potential, but people just can't get into it.
I think separating the list would be smart because you could also take into account not only all the attachments, since they're not the same for every gun like bo3, but also the operator mods. Some of them change guns quite a lot, for better or worse

IX was one of the first maps i ever got to boss fight with, I absolutely hold bo4 and its weapons at a good rating, but as an OG zombies player I do find getting back on harder than lets say BO1 or 2 because of its simplicity, thats what I fell in love with zombies for originally so it holds a special place in my heart
Bo4 really isn’t too complex. It just takes a few games of learning before realizing it. All I do is grab the shield real quick and open pap.
@Eazy_P_40 yea no trust me, I agree with you that it's not too complex, to get to the EE boss fight on IX my like second attempt ever trying it is saying something about its simplicity, I think personally vanguard besides the shi no numa remaster and cold war was when zombies went downhill, I still put bo4 in my good graces
Its almost like the only reason people complain about bo4 weapons is because they are biased and dont actually test or use the weapons because "bo4 not bo3 and therefore bad"
I think it’s more about the bo4 system rather than bo4 weapons. People have more hate for the PaP system than the bullet weapons of bo4 tbh.
@@Eazy_P_40 my point is that people's stigma for bo4 makes them auto discouraged everything about the game, including the few actually good things about the game, thats probably why you can barely find any bo4 weapons info anywhere because people's hate for everything else about bo4 made them lump weapons into that pile as well

@@Eazy_P_40I don’t remember you mentioning this in the video, but did you test guns that came with fmj 1 or even fmj2? It really helps with the penetration power. Bo3 guns automatically get fmj when you pap them.
@@jetfunnybunny5759 used some with fmj 1 and didn’t see a difference tbh. It was briefly looked at so maybe I’ll look again.

I do hope the full series list can come with bo4 even if it's a rougher ranking, but having a list just for bo4 would be really nice. Been trying to get into it lately but I'm intimidated by the amount of guns I know none of and I dunno which are decent
The wall buy ARs are pretty good, so I’d use them for now, and try to test out other weapons with your other slot to see what you like.

@@andrewroes7942 No, mainly due to the lack of penetration. They are very good though for the most part.
Something that is really interesting is how every sniper rifle, except the vendetta, is a one shot kill to the head past round 35 when max pack a punched. The Argus is also that powerful too which is crazy. The whole thing with collateral damage really does hinder the performance of bo4 guns, which makes things like the packed trebuchet highly effective for the dps of several zombies. It’s also just funny how the shield gun has a higher damage like most weapons lol I guess that’s all I got to say

Feel like I would agree BO4 deserves to be its own separate category. But if you don’t ultimately decide to do that and you do mix it with the other games, I think it definitely deserves its own ranking with all the mechanics allowed. Especially with this operator mods that completely change how some of the guns perform (looking at you mozu)
Please do them in the same category as the other games with no attachments so that us viewers can see the stats untainted in comparison to the other games even if the penetration issue reduces efficiency
does FMJ make a meaningful difference (for the guns that can use it). never knew the penetration was so low, i thought that trend started with cold war tbh
From what I’ve found, not really. I’ve not done much testing with fmj in bo4 but haven’t found anything that suggests that it does help with collats.
Hell i thought alot of the BO4 weapons were actually stronger than the BO3 counterparts, but thats probably just because BO4 semi auto guns are all disgustingly OP on base difficulty
Bo3 semi autos (except the sheiva) are even better. The drakon, m14, and mx Garand are insane
I’ve been playing bo4 a lot recently. It’s unfortunate that its game is so different to the others in the series but it makes sense for it to be its own category.
With that being said, a ranking with attachments sounds too good. When playing why wouldn’t you use attachments? It’s more of a useful list.
Also it will help me pick the right attachments on the right weapons since at the moment I’m watching xclusive ace multiplayer gun guides for attachment stats because a lot of the time there are attachments with no/little improvement

Possibly, but wouldn’t happen until much later down the line

id say when doing bo4 ranking, compare it with no attachment and stuff but then a seperate video with operator mods or seperate category, since some can be drastic changes or improvements
This just happened to come across my feed, interesting video. I have noticed a difference in weapons between BO3 and 4 and I have to agree that bullets don't go zombies as much as the old games. But with the health cap and ATT attachments it kinda become a mute point to me personally. Because on higher rounds I'm usually switching between using fire bomb, wraith fires to get constant kills going when training. Rather than focusing on unloading a full clip (same goes with BO3 because lol dead wire)
I think something to note for your list if you weren't planning to address it already is the best guns to use against armored enemies like in IX. I feel like lot of the guns in BO4 hit a hard wall in the higher rounds when a lot of specials come out, Makes it feel like you're shooting them with water than bullets
Took me around 6 Months of grinding daily challenges and crates to unlock every DLC Weapon. But in the end it was worth it😂

Some of the BO4 weapons are awsome. I abaolutely adore the Spitfire, MicroMG, and Cordite. Stingray, Paladin, and Mozu are also really cool even if I don't like using them
Yeah I enjoy BO4, but man the weapons are so weak... Good game imo but obviously has some problems.
The weapons are really strong, but they lowered the collateral damages unfortunately. From an overall statistic viewpoint, they only fall short to bo3.
@@Eazy_P_40 really weird choice on Treyarch's part. Especially considering that this is zombies aka a PVE mode. The zombies aren't going to complain that we are killing them really quickly lol. It's always been weak at first, then pretty op later on and having fun with some maps being more challenging than others because of the map's size, maybe mini bosses, etc. Regardless amazing video!
I suggest creating a stand-alone BO4 weapons with attachments video, and if you do a video ranking all weapons from zombies history or similar, include BO4 but, of course, put a disclaimer at the beginning of the video clarifying BO4 general weapon mechanics. Oh, and clarify that their inclusion in your list is with attachments, like your BO4 weapon ranking video 👍👍
The peacekeeper is the best sounding gun in COD history, why does it sound so unbelievably good? It sounds soooo satisfying and pack a punched it is the same but also completely not the same like there is no gun that sounds better than the peacekeeper. And that the BO3 sounded horrible is even funnier.
Of the bo4 weapons it’s definitely one of the better sounding ones for sure

Definitely rate them separately so you can include attachments. It’s a lot more practical for gameplay choice that way. From a practical standpoint, you don’t actually need to know how they compare to the other games in order to play well.
It really makes me sad that the penatration power sucks it makes weapon feel less fun even tho i love this game

I kind of want a separate bo1-bo3 list, then I want to see how the bo4 weapons fit in that list, then I want to see bo4 stand-alone lol. I choose all of the above
Not saying it’s impossible, just improbable. Bo4 list is going to take a while, and if I end up needing to do both with and without attachments, that’s going to be even longer. Then taking into account the variables and whatnot, it makes it very difficult to compare bo4 weapons to WaW-Bo3 weapons. I do want it to be a part of the series, but if I keep testing stuff and find it’s best to not include them, that’s what I’ll probably end up doing. But we’ll have to see.
@@Eazy_P_40I never bought BO4 or anything past that because I was done with COD at that point, so I’m biased, but I always saw BO4 as being very different (worse) from the previous 4 games and am more inclined to click away from videos including it alongside the older games. I find them difficult to follow because I don’t know anything about how the game plays, but the game still doesn’t seem worth buying, so videos including it aren’t worth understanding for me. So I’d personally want BO4 to have its own separate ranking, which also happens to be the somewhat easier option. Just my two cents

Amazing video and a lot of work!
I think one aspect besides penetration power and zombie spread that does make a lot of difference for people feeling BO4 weapons are weaker that you didn't take into account (cuz of making the comparison fairer but still) are the surroundings of the weapons, the attachments and perks.
The fact that double tap is so cheap and speed cola can be bought separately (+perkaholic abundance with close app exploit making sure lots of players will have access to these perks very early) makes it so in the lower rounds you will be able to be much more powerful in BO3, not only that but you have to note that in BO3 EVERY weapon besides secondaries has BOTH rapid fire and fast mags attachments, while in BO4 just very few have both and some have neither, that makes it so from the very beggining most weapons will have this advantage. Also in the higher rounds where you will have full setup in both games, even if you compare the few weapons that have both these attachments with BO3, it still has the advantage of stacking the rapid fire + DT2 increase in fire rate, while in BO4 the fully packed weapon will gain the PAP damage boost + double damage, but won't have the fire rate boost of DT2, in even higher rounds you have the much more OP BO3 AATs in comparison too to compete with the health cap in normal difficulty BO4.
Although i think because of the mod operators the BO4 weapons are more interesting in general.
Ya this is accurate, but to also add to your point, bo4 weapons are overall a bit slower in the rof area. A lot of ARs and LMGs in older games would have an average of about 650-700 rpm but in bo4 it’s a bit closer to 575-625.
I play a lot of bo4 since I generally prefer it over the other games - I'd love to understand some of the guns better. Even though I have most of them maxed out and golden, I just don't get it sometimes.
I mean, any gun with high calibre is disproportionately stronger than everything else. I'd say the AN-94 is the best non-salvo, non-wonder weapon gun in the game since it has every good trait you want in a gun and insane damage. High cal makes so many mediocre or bad guns good, except for the Swat RFT which is bad no matter what.
Also, operator mods. They don't work how they do in multiplayer sometimes, which results in inaccurate descriptions. The maddox is a good example of this because in MP, every other shot increases the firerate for the next shot. In zombies, it just fires in bursts of 2 no matter what. The cordite belt feed has no heat up HUD element like in MP. Swordfish gets no additional ammo from penta burst. What is the appeal of Tigershark's 6 burst? Explosives on the S6 Stingray? Bayonet on the VAPR when it's just as strong as the Strife's stiletto?
I have so many questions for this game. I know how much time hand testing takes since I did that for MW2022 reload times and even being able to access all weapons at any time in the firing range took hours. I can only imagine doing it in zombies...

I believe most of the snipers except the paladin and maybe the vendetta have penetration values, im kind 50/50 on other weapons that have fmj but it’s kind of the reason why the guns get held back
Paladin doesn’t because it has explosive rounds, all the other snipers are pretty similar where you can get a double collat in the earlier rounds but not so much in the 20s and 30s. Fmj from my understanding so far is it doesn’t help but I need to test it more.
How much does not having the fire rate boost from double tap 2 play a role in BO4 guns feeling weak? Because part of me also feels like guns shoot way slower across the board.
Spot on, bo4 weapons are definitely below average when it comes to fire rate among zombie games. Damage and ammo are good though, but with no DT and the fire rate already being mediocre, a lot of weapons suffer.
They feel like shit to shot.
When doing cw, which tier pap and rarity are you going to rank or will you also make it it’s own list and not compare it to the older games?

As far as I know, no, but I’ve only tested it a small amount so I would need to test it out more.
Hey, I loved your BO3 weapon rankings. I was going to say if you had questions about specific data / inner-workings, damage multipliers on 5x pack a punch, etc. that maybe the guys at Project BO4 could help? They've basically decompiled the game to allow people to play without a license so I'm sure they could figure out those numbers.
I’ve got the headshot damages and RPM for the most part, it’s the other stuff like mobility, collat damage, etc. that I’ve not figured out yet. Never heard of Project Bo4, do they have an area of communication?

hey I was just wondering, though I see you're playing on hardcore in your footage and that difficulty has no healthcap. Do ya think most weapons in this game still be viable at the round 35 healthcap on normal?

It’s 35, and for the most part with full pap most of the guns should be ok for at least getting a few kills here and there.

The reason they aren’t is to compare to each of the games. Not all games have a damage booster, so when just comparing the guns side by side, it’s not fair to give out advantages to one game or another.
So you're only testing T1 pap and not full dmg pack?
I’ve tested both (mainly T1 PaP), but when talking about the weapons themselves, I always just talk about their base versions without DT/Damage Boosters. Full Damage is essentially Double Tap 2.0 without the extra fire rate. Regardless, you’ll know the stats in the end because it’s just double the Tier 1 PaP stats.

Yes, although there’s a couple of dlc weapons I haven’t gotten dark matter for, I do have it for most weapons.

@@brandonsaerens3673 classified and botd, it took several months. It sucked because I did it before the box weapons became easier to grind since they cut their headshot/kill count in half for camos so it was even more difficult lol
@@Eazy_P_40 oh so you did it at release? Would you know what is the fastest way to get the headshots Camo and then the technical Camo. What is the fastest way to go about it? ( I try to use 1 wall weapons and 2 box weapons ) with deadshot, I first try to use the box weapons because you can't rebuy ammo for them
@@brandonsaerens3673 playing casual mode is probably the best way to go about it. Try to get the box weapons done first since they’re so hard to pull sometimes, botd is the best map for mini-bosses, IX is the best for heavy’s, classified/botd are the two best overall for grinding
Black ops 1 is still the best it had bad weapons and good weapons there was variety. Bo4 and cold war every gun is good so why bother ever switching weapons

@@Eazy_P_40 when you pap the Havelina, it gets less ammo, does less damage and takes away the ability to use your knife. Instead your character will melee with the butt of the gun. It honestly kind of seems like when you pap it, it bugs out and turns into the multiplayer version? Getting dark matter for it was brutal, it’s so shit when it’s packed
@@firstnamelastname492 from my experience I haven’t noticed these bugs. There is a weird feature with the reload (don’t think it’s a glitch but not sure) where with the speed reloader will not reload the entire mag when it’s either fully or mostly empty.
How I've judged penetration power is my watching the point counter at the bottom left of the screen. From my experience, all bullets that penetrate can only hit their initial target, and 1 other zombie.... Absolute SHIT mechanic 🤬 RIP snipers 🪦
LMAO watching your BO3 ICR test you can see like 50 "+10's" flying off the point counter the entire time you're shooting ☠️
Ya same, it’s the easiest way to tell what all is going on in bo4 (also looking at kill counter)
