To be totally honest, I was quite surprised by Italy's performance.
The Irish DID play a good game, and, as usual, eventually won, but we surely didn't lag behind. Today I saw a complete different behaviour in our pals. All I can say is that for the first time this year, I've seen'em determined, aggressive and respectful.
We've got to work on our discipline and lineout, though.
Good effort Italy well done Ireland.

We - Ireland - have a good recent record against the Aussies and SA so we'll have to wait and see. Regardless, we can all enjoy the spectacle.

Ireland need to improve which I believe they will. Game against France will be tough but I think the Irish will come out the victors with a comfortable margin. Honestly see Ireland reaching the Semi-finals and maybe even the final.
to be fair our backs were not as organized as the pack and also the forwards can afford to change around positions
Ireland dont care about teams are most likely to lose against . They saved the agression and that for against France
I like the Italian team, they got balls, and they're improving year on year.
They played bad in he six nations 2016 but i would have been of them if they won against France as an irishman
Well unfortunately for Italy, they haven’t been able to improve the way we would all like them to. It’s now March 2022 and they’ve now lost 35 six-nations games (at the time of writing this) in a row. The other teams in the 6N have all improved during this time, but Italy haven’t been able to do the same.
They’ve another two games to play in this years competition and chances are they’ll lose both of them. Where do they go from here?

As an Englishman I think you Irish are perhaps being a tad too critical, at least you're still in the bloody thing!! Plus one cannot underestimate the psychological impact Sergio Parisse would have brought to the Italian team in coming back! He clearly galvanised them as their leader, and I've always said that once the Italians find a half-decent fly-half, they'd improve... Allan looks a canny player, speaking strictly as a neutral of course :'-(

Fair play, i never thought i'd say it but i honestly would prefer to see England still in the tournament.

Italy deserved to win today,Ireland were unimaginative,slow and indisciplined they will be destroyed by France if they play like that,going home at the quarters as usual.

Ireland are supposed to be the best team in the six nations. Not the best performance from them, I expect better against France.
They are the best team in the six nations haha ireland didn't really care about the score they were there to just get the job done but they do need to step there game up

+XxWales15xX Ireland have won the 6 nations 2 years in a row. You have to take into account Italy were going all out for the win here because they had to or they were out but they still lost. Agree Ireland has to be improve which I think they will, I think their game against France will be won with comfortable margin.

They won by 7 points this year and by 2 points last year plus they did draw in 2013 and 2012.
Well despite that game I think Ireland still is favorite against France but don't underestimate your opponent, don't do the same mistake as English did with the Welsh and Aussies.
France will be playing the first place too, so they will not let you have an easy game.
