Barry, a very important corrrection to your video. At the beginning of the mounting section you mention the mounting bracket that came with the handbrake. I recently purchases a VNM shifter and Handbrake after your review, and I am unable to mount and use the handbrake until I get more profile because it does not come with that bracket, nor is that bracket even available for purchase that I've been able to find.
Contact ArchAngel SIM racing and ask for the mountinh bracket it comes with the handbreak as part of the kit just ordered mine and received it that way

I wish they included the springs and elastomers with the handbrake though. If you want the different ones you have to buy the Pro kit which includes the 90deg handle which I wont be using. Or at least sell the springs and elastomers separate from the handle.
Thanks for great review! I'm also running VNM Shifter and totally love it. I was also thinking bout Handbrake but mounting seems to be the problem. Another thing: are you still running 3x27" Asus ROG? I'm thinking whether to choose 3x27 1080p, 3x27 1440p or 3x32 1440p ? Any thoughts ?
I'm going back and forth between the VNM shifter and the Fanatec. What are your thoughts? I'm not too worried about the switching time back and forth between H-pattern and sequential, and my top concern is the feel. I've been playing with paddles so far, and I have a Thrustmaster coming in today but I'm realizing that by the time I add one upgrade to the Thrustmaster it's within $50 of either of those options and I'd rather spend the extra money instead for something nicer.
As someone who owns both (Fanatec then VNM), I would 100% say to buy the VNM if "feel" is priority. Fanatec's shifter feels cheap (because of all the plastic), while the VNM shifter and handbrake feel so much more premium. Sure, it can't connect to Fanatec's wheel bases, but buy a USB hub from Amazon and you're good to go. Longetivity-wise, VNM feels like it would last a lifetime. Whereas the Fanatec shifter has had its issues. I wanted to upgrade a long time ago, but held out. I'm glad I pulled the trigger for the VNM shifter + handbrake

VNM's distributors do have publicized prices actually. There's a list on the site. Buying from the manufacturer is a lot more expensive due to shipping and tax so it doesn't make sense to make people buy from VNM directly. I know because I work there

Had to dig up all these review videos to find you to deliver the news when I suddenly remembered someone asking about this a few months back. ASR should still have these in stock.
After watched simagic tb-1 and this i would go with VNM, more custimazation, versalite on mounting will try friends he v2 but i think inlike vnm more 😂
The designer is brilliant and dealing with him when he first released his shifter was the best experience I’ve had with a custom builder. Excellent quality and proper engineering you only get from Vietnamese ingenuity!

i wish it was all bumper and no spring, that was the main reason i went with heusinkveld over this
You do get multiple bumpers (or elastomers) if you get the upgrade set so you can have all bumper or all spring or leave it hybrid if you want
