Rec Room Plus membership and benefits are cross-platform except:
Oculus platforms do not yet support membership sign ups (but you can sign up on another platform, and get all the membership benefits on Oculus! Steam or iOS will be your best bet since PS4 sign ups can only claim their token boxes on PS4 as we mention below)
If you sign up for RR+ on PlayStation®, you must claim your tokens on PlayStation®.
If you sign up for RR+ on any other platform, you can't claim your tokens on PlayStation®.
You must log in each week to claim your token and box rewards (due to platform restrictions, we can only check your membership status when you are logged in).
If you have all 4-Star items, you’ll get 800 tokens instead of the box.
The 10% discount works in official Rec Room stores that accept tokens (Merch Booth, Cafe, Stunt Runner, Paintball, etc.). It doesn’t work in stores that don’t use tokens (Laser Tag, Crescendo, stores in community rooms, etc.).

They don’t give a special advantage, and they give u more tokens than buying them
Two things:
1) The exclusive item is a no go. Everyone should be able to get the item. members should just receive it for free.
2) You need to figure out how to make the rewards stack if someone can’t log on at least once a week.
I get the need for funding. This game is growing fast so keeping up is going to be hard without expanding the team. I’m all for this, but please consider the people who have stuck with you since the beginning.
ps4 policies don’t allow that so they made it so you had to log on, it would be extremely unfair if it worked on all the other platforms but not ps4

I have just a few minor issues with this update.
Firstly, while $2 off seems like a good deal compared to the original $10 pricing for the tokens, keep in mind that you get the tokens weekly, and not just at the start of the new month, so you don’t get the 6000 tokens straight away, you get them in increments of 1500 tokens every week.
My second issue has to do with the exclusive items that the Plus members have access to. You’re telling me that on top of my $8 every month, I have to get an additional 1500 tokens for the exclusive item? So if for my first month, I used my tokens to buy items that anyone could get, and ran out of tokens for the exclusive item, then I’d either have to play the game enough to get 1500 tokens, or I have to pay even more money to get enough tokens to buy the exclusive item? Yeah, no. That’s dumb. Why not allow the people who are already paying a monthly subscription get exclusive free items every week/month? Wouldn’t that make the Plus membership more attractive? Kind of like how PlayStation Plus gives its members two free games every month with its subscription.
I dunno, Rec Room, I love you guys as developers and I love your game. It’s honestly one of my favorites to play, especially during this virus outbreak, but this membership isn’t nearly good enough to get me to buy it.
Still love y’all, and I hope you can make the subscription service more attractive as the time goes on.

Id agree with you if this was a one time purchase but the problem is the subscription model. Subscriptions are the absolutely scummiest forms of monetization.

I'm in Europe but it says $7.99 instead of £6.47 so I don't think I can get it, and this whole Pandemic will make it almost impossible to afford it, people will brag and bully others for not having it and show off, Rec Room is a great game and all but it sometimes can be irritating and allow and/or allow others to have more ways of bullying/harassment/ect.

I’ve got mixed emotions about this. I like the whole idea but I don’t like the monthly payment. I also don’t think there is enough included to buy it.
Why would they give out 6000 tokens a month for free? It's a amazing deal especially the tokens and tier 4 box.

Some people are going to hate this, but it’s not a big deal. You don’t need it to play, it purely has cosmetic bonuses with it. And honestly, the only thing I would use these for is weapon skins and ball skins.
I bet they are gonna make the game pay to win tho. Like some exclusive Rec room plus items give you boosts in crimson or less monsters in crescendo

Hay Rec Room! I just wanted to say I'm okay with us as long as it does doesn't turn into like purchase locking or something like that. Also maybe have an option to do it one time purchase instead or an addition to the monthly one.

Actually, this is better than most subscriptions out there for games like Rec room. Rec Room plus doesn’t take away anything that people had before, Rec room plus just offers more tokens and items for a fraction of the cost.

2) rec room works hard to give everyone a great game for free so when they release this they shouldn't have to go through all this hate. "It's just a joke" is not excusable because you were saying it in a first person way so you were making fun of rr if you had it in quotation marks and had something like "-Every kid" then it would be you making fun of the people complaining still not a great joke but at least it isn't insulting developers for trying to earn money to make the game better

I have an Oculus, so if I buy via steam will I have to log in via steam to get the weekly tokens or can I do that on my Oculus?
Would it be possible to pass on the thought of players being to add TH-cam videos and/or live streams to rec rooms they make, to any co workers that are in the position to work with others to work on that idea. I think it could add a lot to rec room, such as being able to watch things like a live stream of some event with a bunch of people.
every item in the store recently hasn't been that good the rec room plus item for this month is actually good and reasonably priced though so keep releasing good items like that for rec room plus and i will keep subscribing

It’s an optional membership that is honestly not that much money. You get 1500 tokens a week. Stop complaining, if you can’t afford it, than grind all day to get tokens.

Here it is. Here is Rec Room’s decline. They stop focusing on making new quests, and actually making new weekly items instead of it being a repeat 9 times out of 10, and just want money money money from these kids.
It's what happened with youtube, removing features only to make it available, but only if you pay up!
