The people that don't like the motorcycle have their own preconceived notions of what Natlan is supposed to be like when it's a culturally inspired fantasy world where Xilonen crafted a single masterpiece in that bike. The people that don't like the motorcycle I predict are too attached to social media/having a influencer presence (TH-camr/Twitch) and don't wanna be criticized for just enjoying something for being really freaking cool. I make it sound so simple but, really, that is exactly what it is. I freaking loved this trailer.
It's simple but yeah that's basically it. They jumped on a bandwagon because they don't have the media literacy or interest in worldbuilding necessary to form their own opinions. They also always default to "I don't like the aesthetics of the bike" when they get called out, too. I don't like the aesthetics of Raiden Shogun's character design but you don't see me ranting about how the game is ruined because she exists.

I'm fine with Raiden Shogun's design personally but for example, I'm not a fan of Chasca's design (I'm not against showing skin but the lack of a pantleg next to a full length one is a bit jarring to me) but I still like her as a character, and this game ain't ruined for me either.
Jesus christ Natlan has literally just been "put any kind of modern concept in one Nation and disguise it as part of the lore" it's really that simple why people hate it. Just imagine Elden Ring suddenly had an expansion where there's motorcycles and flying cars but the Devs say "Oh well it's magic technology because it ties into blah blah blah and therefore there's DJs and rockbands can exist here" God it makes me facepalm. What a joke of a community this is lmao

people ranting about a bike in natlan is so hypocrite, in fontaine the ai robots are everywhere, just because natlan is based on old african/south American, doesn't mean they need to use stone and rock smh
Have you heard about stylization? Yeah, Fontaine has robots, and OMG Sumeru has internet. But why didn't people complain back then? Maybe because it was stylized to look natural in Genshin? We haven't gotten strait PC, cables and servers for internet. In one of the most technologically advanced region Fontaine we got steampunk styled robots that look natural overall. Whilst in Natlan (tribal state) we got irl copy of sport motorbike, giant flying gun and freaking turntable. And Hoyoverse basically gave us two lazy explanations "Phlogiston" and "Xilonen". There's just no sense and because of that, I can't perceive Natlan normally. Tho I really like the design of Natlan characters, but they are just not Genshin.

No, Charlotta's showcase was much more hype imo. The graphics don't need to be adjusted because it promises exactly what it shows, unlike Genshin. It was still a good trailer ngl.
I disagree, of course Carlotta trailer is amazing as well but that is not hype, her whole theme sound more majestic and elegant, Now, mavuika trailer is the definition of HYPE, the anime vibe, the burning spirit, the whole no one fight alone feelings, that's what make a trailer hype
For the record, yes her splash art is released and it does contain the 6 heroes of Natlan in the flames that form behind Mavuika.
