"love and hate, and the black sea rocks. and a lunatics moon at midnight. and no help on this earth for a wounded heart but time itself. a tide was rising now and rising fast. and hidden by the darkness a wave curled and broke, and time ran out"
Need help here. I’m blanking on who plays Charlie Burton. He played heavies in other Johnny Dollar episodes. The only good guy role I remember is the judge in THE FATHOM FIVE MATTER part 4.
More things change..... Lovable comedian. Ellen Degenreate comes to mind, I'm confident that there is many, many more now, more than the past had. Name one, and I bet they fit,
I've never heard a show where Johnny was so unprofessional and so unlikable, he listened to children playing , screams Spanish screams, condescending, i never experienced a time like this when I actually disliked the character Johnny Dollar this was one

There's a lot of alliterative people in these productions - Bob Bailey, Robert Wright, Jack Johnson, Roy Rowan
I've noticed that, too!
This was good. I love the way Johnny handled that asshole comedian. Priceless.
Part II where we learn Burton used a private eye to con Gloria’s fiancé out of her life is when it becomes clear Burton is the true bad guy here.
@@STP43FAN1 Yep just great!
My thoughts as well. I hate arseholes who think they're better than they are.

I’m now guessing John Dehner
Yep Dehner. Voice is unmistakable.
Thanks.
BTW Al Schreiber returns as Vic Kelly in THE ALDER MATTER
John Dehner?

The stories I’ve recently heard about Lucille Ball indicate she was quite repellent to everyone.
Do you think that Charlie is a substitute for Jack Benny?
Lovable comedian on screen. Repulsive tyrant off it. That’s who Johnny has to protect - and winds up exposing.
Gratuitous (inadvertent) reference to the brilliant 70s female band Fanny - Special Care - the best version of the Stephen Stills song.
I’d love a modern version of this episode, maybe with Tony Hinchcliffe as the despicable comic!
Some of the worst acting of all North Americans portraying Hispanics since Scarface
Ok mang!
