    Apart from voltage drop its also provide the information about fault level and amount of fault current in case of sort circuit in secondary side.

    Sir,if we interchange the incoming and outgoing cables in transformer then what will happens?
    For example,if 66/11 kv transformer is there then if we can joint 66kv incoming cable in output of transformer and output cable with incoming of transformer then it is blast or not happens any thing?

      But manufacturer full load ka reference deta hai.

    Sirjiii....
    2400/240 means Py 2400V and Sy 240V. Right ?
    You have multiplied 3% impudence with 2400V and got 72V Voltage drop.
    Why do yo multiply with 2400V and why didn't you multiplied with 240V.
    Could you please explain the concept behind the 2400 x 3% multiplication ?

      Mathew we use high voltage side for Calculation. That is why I used 2400V.

      Actually voltage drop experience in Seconday side. So, sec voltage drop will be 240 x 0.03 =7.2 v. So, seconday voltage will be at full load =240-7.2=232.8v.
      Therefore, primary voltage drop will be= 7.2x turns ratio= 7.2× k factor=7.2×(2400/240)=7.2x10=72 v= voltage drop in primary calculated in the presentation. Hope, it is clear to all.
      For info, sec voltage was 220v, instead of 240. Do calculation, will get the same result 72v drop in primary.

      Rate of voltage = 11000 V
      Voltage drop = 0.03 x 11000
