Honestly, the most heartbreaking part is that their decision to get a divorce will be talked about and criticised everywhere. By everyone. I mean a divorce is already stressful for anyone. I can only imagine what they are going through. It's sad and I feel bad for those in the public eye like this.

I'm 41 and married for 24 years. There is hope. You just have to test the person you're interested in to see if that person is compatible with you. You have to get a feel of how the person really is. If a marriage fails, learn from it, so there will be less regret or none at all. If it is you, learn and better yourself for you.

There are couples that get married within 3 months of knowing each other and their super happy and last a long time. I think neither of them were committed, communicate with each other or/ and love each other enough to move forward. Neither of them were specially in love. I can tell because even when they married so fast they didn’t try to have a baby or play home for a while. Normally when you are married you love someone you want to be with that person all the time. I remember see in him giving interviews for his movie after the marriage and she was not there to support him. Also they both star working at the same time. What couple with less than two years does that?

In short it was kind of "raw" not yet matured relationship, not gotten to know each other well! Come to think of it though, some couples dated long years, but parted while not married & divorced after getting married. It is not the quantity of time that matters but a deep strong love for each other can withstand difficulties & different personalities. That may not be the reason. They know each other and got closer even before DOTS. Then they got married in Oct 2017. Not sure how long you want their relationship to be to be considered appropriate for marriage. Again, marriage and dating is different. You can date for 5 years and still fail in a marriage. Things are not easy so stop guessing that they split because they didn't have enough time to know each other etc.

I don't think that those who've dated for a longer time and got finally married, know each other well enough even after they've said their vows. You may be right in this case however. Things may have been rushed and they hadn't taken enough time to know more about each other. That must be where this 'differences in personality' came to light. Sometimes we are surprised by things that we never knew about our own best friends since childhood or even family members. The blame though, in this particular case, cannot be pinpointed to one side only I believe.

Anyway, when they announced their relationship followed by marriage I already thought they should have waited few more years to settle down. I don't think I can bring myself to watch another drama with either one of them without it ruining my enjoyment of the show.

Well it seems that both of them are set on getting divorced. 😟They both seem hurt, it's only natural I guess. It feel like he wants to hurry and get things over with. I was touched by the wording in the statement he released, "I will recover from my current wounds and do my utmost as an actor..." (I didn't cry till I read that part). It's new to us, but if reports are true, they haven't lived together since Sept 2018, so they might be better at handeling their emotionals right now - than we are since it's new to us. I support them and wish them the best going forward.
