Def getting at least 20 of the tokoha energy cards. And if not I’m proving it lmao. Ahsha and altmile stride deck set waiting room. After those to I’m down for gurguit and gavrail
Not surprised with Gandeeva Masque being bad. Masque evolutions have always been a coin flip between "completely change how we play the deck" (Orfist, Magnolia) and "Just the base unit wearing a fancy eyepiece" (Drajeweled, Zorga) with basically no middle ground other than something like Astroea and Evil Eye which have their base forms designed with Masque in mind.
I think the masques for the most part has either been an actual upgrade or a sidegrade at best. The only one that truly fails in my eyes is gravidia. Not sure what their doing with that one. Popeman seems pretty cool and gandeeva...... eh i guess we'll just have to see. I'm intrigued
@@ZEDEX252 Actually, the more I think about it, the more I like this new Gandeeva. I think with the new RGs, Gandeeva Masque has potential. WSlasher's point that you can only get the extra crit 4 times per game is really a non-issue, because if the game goes to Turn 7, someone's usually about to deck out. The biggest problems with OG Gandeeva is how overly reliant it is on Stirgna's double bind to hit for decent numbers and that all of its best effects require your opponent to have an empty board. Masque of Hydragum will help with the former and the new cheap retires will help with the latter.
@@allen2reckless676 As far as VGParadox's records show, neither base Drajeweled nor Masque got any tops in the Set 7 meta and Set 10 meta respectively. Drajeweled was always a Tier 4 deck until Drajeweled Ignis.
Drajeweled is the worst Masques by far, while Magnolia got 1 promo to fix it's Masques, Drajeweled didn't, and that's sad (Gravidia does not count because at least it's support is Masques focused)
It's me, I'm the one waiting impatiently for my fav Flame Dragon to get a new form :D Also, Gandeeva Masques ability isn't that bad imo. It retains Gandeeva's 2k+ to the front row for each faced down cards, and the usual Masques ride restrict. However, removing the old Gandeeva to not only get to do the gambling retire ability, which means you can retire 3-4 of your opponents rearguards depending on their board state, and if you retire one or less, you can still bind 2 and draw one, but also get an extra crit! This one is actually pretty great if you consistently get OG Gandeeva in your soul, hand or drop. It's last [ACT] Ability is the most dissapointing of them all though, Soul Blasting 1 card to retire an opponent RG, and if you don't retire, you just draw one. The biggest issue will now be deck space.
Masque deck had always have deck space issues unless you're Ominagruzio so that was expected tbh. The ability to persona on t3 going 2nd is huge especially with another use of Gandeeva skill. You get more bind faster which means more power
Actually it’s not as bad as y’all chalk it up to be…. If every turn you can ride old gandeeva over masaques form then activate the skill then masque up it’s actually not bad as more often than not you can clear boards from a few stray cards then beat them down
I'm very disappointed with the new Gandeeva, pretty sure the point of the Masques cards were to make the decks better instead of slowing the deck down. Heck in the anime, wasn't the point of the unifiers who used them to try and make the game into a tier 0 format?
At least you're getting Blood *at all.* Meanwhile, Ezel is the kid from Two-and-a-half Men standing out in the pouring rain, waiting for guardians that have completely forgotten about him.
@HunterStiles651 True. Although I am a Vermillion main from 12 years. I've wanted to take my Vermillion to top 8 for the last 12 years. The closest I have gotten has been top 36 years ago during G-era. But at this point I am inhaling copium. What are the odds of BLOOD being the good DE from the set are tiny... oh well. For funsies it is, and time to embrace the meta
The thing is, like maelstrom The deck is relying on the order card to use skills But I hope they are least give a skill that adds a critical to itself every turn A critical and front row attack in on turn Really bad time for your opponent😅
As a Bav main myself, to be honest I liked the idea too, the issue here is the fact that it becomes a nightmare in deck building since you would require Masques Form + Masques of Hydragum + The searcher for said Masques of Hydragum and don't forget the Sealed Blaze Dragons that you need to search for your Arms cards, Arms Card in general and Trickmoon.
@@knexell5894When you consider how many searchers the Arms and Trickmoon has and considering we are in DZ and the Arms are now reusable. I think it could have worked just fine without messing up most of the deck.
Lowkey, Gandeeva might be able to cook cuz you are basically using gandeeva's skill twice and basically building big hand. If you are going first then you just focus building up your bind zone and if you are 2nd you can go crazy with persona and with all the extra skills that will guarantee you with 20k front row with 5 attacks. The only problem rn is the space that masque is going to consume, which is crazy
THIS, You can use the OG Gandeeva ability on your turn 3, and once you done that, use the masques, and use it again! This would (80-90%) guarantee that your opponent will lose their entire board, and if you can't retire or only retire 1, YOU STILL BIND 2-4!! Heck, you can even play a Ominagruzio like gameplay of using the masques, taking it off, repeat, for constant board nuking and bind! (However this one is extremely, and I mean extremely risky since you better pray you have both Red Gandeeva and Blue Gandeeva in hand!)
Wow, Gandeeva Masques is very disappointing, this essentially forces you to play four of the original Gandeeva just to use it's original ability they even made it so that it cannot gurantee to get the crit each turn. They could have made it so that removing the original would bind cards from your drop and then it gets a crit and just have the ACT ability of the original plus a little bonus. Though I'm convinced one of the reasons why they didn't bother to put the original ability plus an added benefit to the masques form is clearly because if it did we would have another Vowing Sabre Dragon Reverse situation again. Now I'm worried whether or not DKV "The Blood" ability would be good or bad.

I been playing to much battle spirits saga all I see is raineedle when I look at that card. 0:24
Thank you, glad to know am not the only one who sees the resemblance here
I don't, I just think of it as Blue Shenron because Asian style Dragon.

I was hoping gandeeva masques either did a restand with no extra crits, or he calls cards from your FD bind
Having a unit that can constantly boost the front row, giving restand is not balanced at all! Not even if you reduce his drive to 0!
It's impressive how they printed a RRR, RR and R that are all worse than Stirgna.
This stole a Bavsagra Masques from us.

Bav was never going to get a masques
My disappointment is immeasurable 🧐 I wanted Gandeeva Masque to be good but if I gotta play 4 of his original that's wasted deck space potential
I mean hey if people really don't want the Taiyou energy cards and feel disappointed, I'll gladly take them off their hands 👀

Damn right. Cast BASED havest, ACT base Gandeeva then masked on and remove base from game to burn once more without cb.
So I'm just wondering for I'm thinking I might build gandeeva but how does gandeeva do 5 attacks 🤔 isnt it a 3 attack deck 🤔
