It's my first youtube video and I'm so grateful you're here! Thank you for keeping me company while I made this Merengue Slumber phone grip/popsocket. In this video, I touched briefly on my process and answered some fun questions that my Instagram friends sent through, thank you so much for being a part of my video guys! Your UV lamp is so modern like a space ship. I thought curing is using kitchen oven 😂
Hahaha yes it does 😅the UV lamp is for the UV resin, but the clay is cured in the kitchen oven 😄
I mean I suppose if you have a UV oven that’d work 😂 that’s what all nail lamps look like lol sorry this comment really cracked me up
what kind of animation did you want to make in the future? i can imagine you going stop motion since you make clay models :) but i can see you doing 2D since you're into digital art & drawing!

I’ve been curious about how clays would hold up with popsockets, do you ever have any issues or complaints with wear & tear?
Hello! So far I've only had one person reach out to tell me that a small part chipped off, and it was an easy fix with a bit of superglue to reattach! 🥰My polymer clay phone grips are delicate items, they will survive a couple of falls but are definitely not for people who drop their phones a ton!
Did you bake it again after adding details? Can you over bake your clay?
Hi alison! I can't remember 100% if I baked this all in one go, but I normally bake at 270F which is a lower temp than recommended (275F) because I like to bake for at least 1 hour even if the charms are small, or it's worked well for when I bake for multiple times - just bake at a lower temp and you should be okay!

Are 1.5h not too long? I bake my charms for only 0.5h because I'm scared that my charms will burning 🥺♥️ but I'm honest, I don't know if that's enough.. I'm still a beginner
