I have a few tips but u may have alr tried these
MAKE SURE ITS DETANGLED before u start the purpose js not detangling but it’s to straighten and curl
If you have frizzy hair make sure you do one or two passes to smooth out the hair without wrapping it first
Use less tension when wrapping/don’t wrap as much
