Baka nalilito kayo between boarding time vs. departure time? Based sa sabi ni coji boarding time is 7:10 then 6:30 kayo nakapila to check in for an international flight? Air canada is the worst ever! Super daming hidden charges din ng airline na yan. They offer the cheapest flight but super strict nila. You just really have to be very reasonable kasi they want money. I’ve experienced that nung umuwi kami ng pinas. Cheapest yet bawat galaw mo may extra hidden charges sila. West jet is way better than air canada
No doubt talaga ang Air Canada, ganyan talaga sila. Maraming missing luggages, delayed & cancelled flights. Minsan yung luggage tinimbang mo ng tama tapos sa kanila over luggage, In short marami talagang reklamo sa kanila kaya as much as possible iniiwasan ko yan. Same same sila ng United Airlines. Mas okay pa West Jet, realtalk lang. Pero gawin na lang natin yun as positive, baka may mga aberya yung flight na yun kaya iniwas kayo ni Lord. Sana safe ang mga sakay nun. Kahit Jet Blue okay sila. Nangyari sa amin yan pero sa AA naman. Pinagbabayad kami nang the next day flight eh Hindi naman namin kasalanan. It’s the weather’s fault. Nilipat kasi kami nang AA sa Jet Blue dahil sa weather sa Chicago dahil dun kami mag connecting flight pa LA. Kaso 20minutes lang yung remaining time paglapag namin sa isang state pa bago pa LA. Hinanap pa namin yung AA kaso nakasara na yung check in late daw kami. Suplada pa yung attendant nila. Kaya sa Jet blue kami nagpatulong. Supervisor to supervisor ang nag usap.
Buti na lng wala kayong Connecting flight, worst thing is so expensive the fare, kaya next time 3hrs. Airline staff here, counter will close 1hr before your departure time. Give them feedback if why di kayo inaccept kahit u were there before . Or could be since pabalik kayo ng U.S may separate security check ang U.S (if may u.s pre clearance dyan) allotted time for U.S pre clearance flight 2hrs before the departure time mag close na counter #justsaying

Overbooked ang flight ng Air Canada. As a travel agent, Yung moment na hindi kayo makapag online check in meaning fully booked na Yung seat or another reason pay load. May cargo na kasama ang flight nyo. Priority ni airline Yun kasi Mas malaki ang kikitain Nila dun. Off load Nila ang ibang pasahero.

I watched the whole vlog and I can see what went wrong. You cant check-in online because the agent needs to see proper documents to enter US because i assume you guys hold Philippine passport. And also, some names are flagged because may kamukang names that is not allowed to travel in US. They need further verification You’re claiming you were in line at 6:30am and departure time is at 8:10. That gives you 10mins before check-in cut off ONLY. For baggage drop-off, you’re already late at that point You were advised by agent that there will be 7 flights a day but the flights might be full and the only one that has available seats is the one that departs at 5pm I used to be an airline agent and now I travel often for work in various airlines. Im pretty sure this is the basic rules even for any other airlines. Its easy to blame to the airline or even to those workers but honestly they cant do anything about it because the system automatically shuts off the flight after the cut-off time. Let this be a lesson na lang for your future travels 😄

The earlier, the better. As much as we always wanted a safe and smooth travel journey, maraming pwedeng mangyari.
I'm always early, 3-4 hours talaga at kahit sa loob na lang ako ng airport maghintay, it's okay.
