Nicely explained. In the last two slides for frame size suffix code as per NEMA , some codes are indicated as face and some as flange while you already mentioned thay face and flange mounting are same. Then what about the foot mounting suffix codes?
thanks for comment, face mount and flange mount are same in the way of mounting pattern, means both the motors are mounted on its drive end face side. But the code C and D shows the design of pattern of motor drive end face plate. In C type flange, motors are built with threaded holes whereas in D type flange motors have non-threaded holes. D-flange motors are used in heavier loading application. I have an image of C-flange and D-flange mounting motor, please share ur email so i can forward it to u.
